Dr. Walsh has treated both my cat and dog. Its a drive for me to get there but worth it. The prices are amazing and she truly cares and is great at talking you through what needs to be done. I was referred to her by a friend that has been going fo her for many years and I would happily refer her to everyone I know.
Both Dr Walsh and Dr Casey are kind, compassionate, gentle people. The staff is amazingly helpful. They answer health and behavior related questions about both my own pets and my foster pets. They are so reasonably priced and make an effort to provide for the communitys pets. I could go on and on about how amazing theyve been through MANY health and behavioral issues, and they always act in the best interest of any pet in their care - even if that means recommending a specialist they trust of they cant provide a long term solution to a problem. Wonderful humans. Just absolutely wonderful.
Reception is...understandably a difficult position, but could be miles better. the older staff that moves about the office often stare at us oddly while were waiting, instead of working. I spoke to neighbors about the place and they agreed about oddities - many of them also no longer visit because its also very hard to get an appointment, they are often fully booked.but the place is clean, the vets are kind and thorough - when you can get an appointment.
I love this animal Hospital, they do a great job every time! I have taken 3 of my dogs here throughout the years. Dr. Walsh is amazing, when I brought my puppy in for the first time I could really tell she cared, especially when she made sure to smell his puppy breath! I recently moved away from the area and I think I am going to be hard pressed to find another vet I like this much. Only downside here is that they are so good its sometimes hard to get through to them on the phone. Keep trying it is worth it.
Both Dr. Walsh and Dr. Casey are honest, hard working professionals who care about your pet. We have had two dogs there over the last twenty plus years. They have seen them from go from puppy hood to their final days. We and our dogs have been treated with compassion and respect. Beverly Hills Animal Hospital is a treasure. The fact that the staff is consistent and long serving tells much about the practice.Thank you!
My husband and I recently moved to Beverly. I called this vet because of the reviews. I explained saying my husband and I needed to set up veterinary services for our dog. First, I was told they werent taking any new patients due to COVID. Then when I mentioned were completely vaccinated, it became Oh its not really that, but were booked through August. I felt I was being given the run around perhaps because were gay.
My dogs & cats have been going here since I remember. The owner is the most compassionate human being I’ve ever met. She’s such a hard working veterinarian. She takes care of the employees and the animals like they’re family. I’d recommend this hospital to anyone and everyone!
The staff are always lovely, and the main doctors are very thorough at explaining issues. My cat, who Id recently adopted from the AWL was exhibiting signs of having worms. I took them back 3 times to the AWL and she still showed symptoms, so i brought her here because weve been a customer here for over 10 years. One quick treatment and she pooped them right out. They are awesome so you have to book early, but I love this place.
Dr. Walsh is wonderful, she truly is there for the animals. Money is not a factor when dealing with difficult situations. She will try the easiest way first. She comes in on her days off to check her patients. I live in Tinley Park and go there because I love it there. The staff is great as well. You can’t go wrong when choosing Beverly Hills Animal Hospital.
Dr. Walsh and Dr. Casey are absolutely the best. We have taken our animals to Dr. Walsh since she began her practice. Weve trusted and loved her from the begining. We couldnt imagine going anywhere else. The experience and knowledge they provide is 2nd to none. The staff is AAA+. I highly recommend The Beverly Hills Animal Hospital.
Dr. Walsh has cared for our Golden for the last 10 years. She is compassionate, skillful, and readily accessible in case of an emergency. The animal hospital itself may look small on the outside, but it is fully equipped (X-ray machines, Ultrasound equipment, etc.) and most procedures/surgeries can be performed on the spot. Prices are very reasonable, lower than many other animal hospitals and vets. Oh - and did I mention that the staff was compassionate? When Dr. Walsh recently informed us of our pets terminal condition, she was fighting back the tears - enough so that our Golden was trying to comfort the Vet! If we get another pet, I would not consider going anywhere else.
Dr Walsh and her staff love animals. I have taken my animals to Beverly Hills for more than 20 years. Compassion, technical know how are the logo of all the personnel who work there. I am not an employee or relative and I have received no favors or money for these statements. I recommend Beverly Hills Animal to all my friends, family and associates.
In one regard, I wanted to give five stars, but in another regard, I wanted to give zero stars.Five stars because everyone works here are always very kind and genuine. My family has had pets for a decades and we have always taken them here. For the most part, everything has been wonderful and our pets have been treated with sincere compassion. However, I recently got turned off. My dog was limping one day and seemed to be in great pain, so I took him in immediately. I was very pleased that they slipped me in that day because I was anxious to see his pain go away. But then I was told that they would not run any tests on him or treat him until he got his vaccinations. It put me in a position where I was forced to agree, and therefore they gave him the vaccinations. He literally fell apart at the seams immediately after receiving that vaccinations. The next thing I knew, his body was deteriorating right before my eyes minute by minute. He died the next day. After taking him to an emergency hospital, they realized that he had a couple tumors on his hip. In addition, his markers were very high for Lyme disease. The last thing he needed at that moment was a vaccine which feeds Lyme disease and aggravates his already existing tumors. Any good doctor has enough knowledge to know that you never give a vaccine to an injured party. Doctors are also heavily influenced to promote vaccinations, but they constantly fail to see the negative aspects of it. I know that most doctors have good Hearts, but they have been trained to believe that vaccinations are the most amazing thing on the planet Earth, and it is absolutely not true. It may be at one point, but we are not there yet . Its so disturbing, but I know that it will change soon.In addition, they failed to properly diagnose my cat. She had started to throw up blood after eating, each and every time she ate. I paid half $1,000 to run blood tests, but the one blood tests they should have done was for celiac disease. Especially because its so common. More common among animals than humans, probably because they eat even crappier food than we do. They put her on a special diet, but unfortunately the food was not gluten free and therefore she continued to get worse. It was my own research online which led me to come to the conclusion that perhaps she had celiac disease. I put her on a strict gluten-free diet, and she immediately got better. She is now happy and healthy. I gave her gluten once on purpose a few months later just to validate the theory. And she threw up blood. So now I know for sure.
Benji has been going here since he was a puppy. Seven years he has been receiving excellent care. All personnel are loving, caring and knowledgeable. If your dog gets sick, they go to every and all avenues to get to the problem. He’s a happy dog So I am happy, too. 👍🏼
Very affordable and my dog has had the best care even if his a high strung dog they deal with him with love even if he can be a pain. I am so glad they where recommended by my neighbor ! I would recommend anybody with an animal that needs care to come here. They are highly booked but so far with my husbands holiday hours they have worked with us !
THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY FACILITY. My puppy got hit by a car this morning and we Googled Emergency Vet Hospital nearby and This facility popped up. We rushed the puppy here and got there at 8:15am. They don’t open until 8:30am, so it was easier to wait 15 min because the next emergency facility was 22mins away. We saw the desk associate in the parking lot and she was kind. When the facility opened the Vet turned us away. She didn’t even come look at the puppy and said that our clients are coming in and we don’t have enough vets. What type of heartless vets work here? By the way our puppy died 2 mins before we got to the next facility. This may have been avoided if you guys wasn’t on Google as an emergency vet hospital.
I have not had any issues scheduling appointments. The staff greetings are warm, along with a smile and are knowledgeable. My experience with the doctors has been one of clarity of issue, willingness to find treatment options, animal/human sensitivity. Their fee scale is reasonable.
I have been bring my dogs to Beverly Hills Animal Hospital for about 23 years.Dr. Walsh is extrordinary! She has the magic touch with animals! My old dog, a 30 lb mixed breed. She lived to be 19 under Dr. Walsh’s care.Dr. Walsh just saved my 4 year old Beagles life. She was on her deathbed Friday night, Saturday morning. She was diagnosed by Dr. Walsh with Addsion’s disease.Addumison’s is a life long disease that can be well managed with steroids and a monthly shot. Not easily diagnosed because it mimics many other diseases.Ellie is acting like her playful little self.It is very important to have a Vet that has treated a dog with Addison’s. So glad to have Dr. Walsh. We also love Dr. Casey. She Is also wonderful! The staff is also extraordinary. Kind, knowledgeable and patient. Thanks to all,Ann Smith
I used to go to lepar, and once i started coming to the Beverly animal hospital i can see how much lepar overcharhes you. My bills at BHAH are a third of what they were at lepar for the same treatments. Plus the doctor was really personable and just great to work with. Took a lot of time to answer my questions without making me feel like i was wasting her time.
The Docs provide good and comprehensive care for my Cocker Spaniel. But scheduling appointments or contacting the office is a NIGHTMARE!! The line is always busy! But when you finally do get through, they do a great job taking care of you. Kudos especially to Reanna!!!!
As I Cry my eyes out , I reluctually prepare my Beloved Australian Terrier, Buddy Love for his Forever Home. Tomorrow, I will bid him farewell! He is ONLY 6yrs old but the irreparable Kidney Damage as a result of contracting Leptospirosis has taken its toll. I want to thank my first cousin. Eric Kirk for adding a little more quality time to Buddys life by his sweet attentiveness! I want to thank Marge & Michael Reignier (RIP) of Crestwood Kennels (Denmatk, Wi) for trusting me enough to bless me with him and last but NOT least, I would like to thank the superb medical care he was given by the doctors and staff of Beverly Hills Animal Hospital (104th & Western Ave.).
The entire staff from the front door until you see the doctor... Everyone make you feel as a family... The prices are so fair with the service it should take forever to get in, but it doesnt.. where ever you go..I asked you give them one chance and you will never leave

2022-06-18Dr. Walsh and company have been the most amazing group of people and professionals we could have hoped for our pup, Danzig. From the first day to the last, they have truly been an extension of our family and we will be lifelong patrons of Beverly Animal Hospital.

2022-04-15Dr. Walsh and her staff are always fantastic! She has taken wonderful care of my pets for over 20 years. She is kind, caring, and compassionate. She recently was able to diagnose Sandys problems and detect a large tumor on Sandys liver and give us an excellent recommendation for a specialty surgeon to have it removed. Sandy is doing great and at home recovering. It is an enormous comfort having Dr. Walsh as my primary vet and would and have recommended her to anyone in need, thank you Dr. Walsh and staff!

2017-09-10A week before we left on a cruise, our cat had a urinary blockage that grew serious quickly. Dr Casey and the staff took amazing care of our fur-child. I never once felt a slight bit of concern as I knew he was in the best care available. Cant recommend them enough.

Veterinarian Dr. Walsh is professional, knowledgeable and patient. She take the time to listen to my concerns and answer any questions, instead of rushing to vaccinate and churn through the next appointment. Shes the best!! Their prices are very reasonable on services as well.

2020-09-26We have been at Beverly Hills Animal Hospital for years with all of our dogs. The staff is friendly and always there to help us out. Dr. Walsh is an amazing vet who takes the time to listen and to get to know your pet. We have three rescue dogs who are not the most easy, chill ones. Both the staff and Dr. Walsh have no problem handling them and love them like we do. Dr. Walsh is always thinking about all possible options and engages in an open and honest conversation to determine the best course of option. Prices are very fair and services are great. I highly recommend this Vet and her staff.
