It has a few small slides that are ammusing for a little while. I mean your going here for the fact that its not that expensive $11 and either you, you wife/girlfriend or kids want to go swimming. So I mean it fits all those requirements. They have a vendor and soda machines so even if you dont wanna swim you can just sun tan and chill. Did I mention they have an area for just adults to sun tan? But yeah nice place, cheap, easy parking. So yeah. Go
Good neighborhood pool. Only thing is towards the end of the summer the water starts to stink bad. You get out and you have a scent on you that’s gross. Lifeguards can be a little nicer to the kids that can swim and are right at the line. My daughter was at the line and every other lifeguard turned her away and let her friends go down. Stopped getting season passes here.
Its alright for a medium sized local place. 3 slides (only 1 worth riding tho), one main pool, a kids play pool area, 1 diving board, 1 adults only Deck with the pool lounging chairs. No booze allowed or sold. They sell some food and drinks I think. Theres a sand area didnt go over there but has at least one volleyball court maybe some other stuff as well. Lots of green open area for picnics etc too (but no personal food allowed in). Dont really think it was worth the $18 for the 2 of us though...
Brought the kids only because of the water slides before school starts back. and all the slides are closed due to being understaffed. They should have this information posted on their website/ facebook etc. at the very least they should inform you that all of the slides are closed upon entrance, before charging full price only to be able to swim in the pool. We could have gone anywhere to just swim in a pool. Lots of free pools. $72 wasted. Extremely disappointed
It is not as good as Rainbow Falls and it is kind of boring there...the slides r slow.. and when u try to get out of the pool, it is very hard. You have barely anything to do there and the admission is over priced and when we went to the pool for the half dollar deal it was 4:45( because the half deal starts at 5) and when we went there she made us wait until 5:15 om because she was too busy doing her nails we couldve swam 15 minutes more, and if u r looking for an amazing pool to go to would be Rainbow Falls and definitely not Bensenville Water Park & Splash Pad
Thank you all for such great service and another wonderful summer ...I am handicapped and your staff is so good to accommodate me and always asks, even on their own throughout the day, if there is ANYTHING at all I need ....I love how clean and well managed it is .... Ive read some other reviews and I have to say if you were unhappy there your just a person who looks for stuff to complain about ....The food is good with a very nice variety... and if your kid cant go down a slide, YES, it is up to the discretion of that guard on duty. .. ...REMEMBER its for the safety of your child...I dont think they were out to RUIN YOUR CHILDS day...good grief !Bensenville pool has a great staff and some of the nicest people Ive ever met ...thank you all so very much for years and years of enjoyable summers ...I so appreciate each and every one of you ...many Blessings to all of you throughout the up and coming holidays and year ....Sincerely yours,Pamela G. Thorpe
I tried to buy season pass for my family, well there was no one before me at the counter and the woman behind the counter ignored me for 10 minutes. Once she was kind enough to get up and walk over she asked for an ID and birth certificates for kids, I told her that school report cards were acceptable as that is what is stated on their web site. She suck a pamphlet in my face and told me to read. BS service, hateful people and staff that has no idea what is going on. They ignore their own guidelines because they have a job security through the city and everyone can kiss their Donkey. Maybe if they were not funded by the tax dollars they would actually care about customers.
Its a local water park. Not to much special. Iind of a let down. First thing is the lifeguards are like pool police. They tell about what seems like everything. Your kids floats must be coast guard approved. Dude your not in lake Michigan. But wouldnt you know they rent them for a small fee. Second there were 2 15 or 16 year olds yelling at a grandma with two kids having sandwiches and chips in the grass. Cmon its a local pool. And a village community pool for $8.00. You think you could lighten up some off your rules. I mean your not Santas village or great America. Not everyone wants your 3.50 hot dogs or a 2.50 slice of pizza that they never seem to have ready. But they managed to sell out of 4.00 ice cream. Go figure. Just leave your food outside. Your welcome to go eat outside by the garbage cans in the parking lot if the kiddie police dont bother you.
Clean facility but thats it. the only large water slide was closed bc there werent enough guards and this was decided at start of second shift (3:30 pm) after the kids waited 2.5 hours for it to open bc another guard told them it would open at 3:30. meanwhile three lifeguards are sitting around talking and hanging out, including one that had head lifeguard on his shirt. maybe they were on break, but not cool to sit right in front of the kids who desperately want you to open the water slide. spent $60 to get in (non resident) and was pretty disappointed.
Staff used a calculator for 9x2. I got here 35 minutes early and was 5th in line. Only 12 lay down chairs in the shade which were taken by kids who sprint through the locker room and dive on chairs before any adult who walks can get them. Mind you the only area in the shade has 12 chairs when they could easily fit double. Staff is very rude when I asked if they had more chairs they told me maintenance would try to create more shade. What does that even mean? Is this SimEarth? Is maintenance going to plant trees 50’ tall ?F this place ill never come back.
In short bad park, bad people. They didnt let my 48 inch tall son to slide. (their limit is 48 inch). I explained to Manager Allison that he was measured by a doctor. Her reply was its my decision. There is only one (drinking) water fontane in the park and it is broken. They want you to buy bottles of water from them. Food sucks, mostly overpriced junk food. You cant bring ur own food. Oh, almost forgot, you get to listen stupid advertisement over the radio all day long even if u paid 11 dollars to get in.

2019-05-07I havent been here since August 2018 but weve been coming to Bensenville water park for 15+ years. I love it here! The staff is super friendly. The facilities are always clean. Everyone seems on top of their game, including with safety. This is especially important to me because I have a 4 and 5 year old. My older son worked there for a couple years. They could pay their staff a little better because they do such a great job and they are a little pricey if you pay the daily rate 😊. The summer pass is definitely worth it. Their snack bar is fully stocked and reasonably priced. I would recommend it for everyone for single young individuals familys. My family will be attending for sure again this summer. ❤

2019-07-28Though the place is good to spend a weekend with family, I particularly didn’t like the pool guards. Agree that they have to keep it safe for all, while doing so they have to show certain empathy and care for visitors feelings and to the reasons why people visit this place. Training needs to be provided to the staff for improvement.

2019-08-11Came here with my 5yo, 3yo and 5mo. The two big kids had a blast. There are 3 water slides for of different heights. There is also a splash park with some floor activated jets (like stepping on a button). Also a volleyball net and a sand zone. I see at least 5 active lifeguards on duty all the time and staff is constantly walking around to make sure everyone is safe. Overall a great place for a family without breaking the bank
