Magda did a great job. She is very friendly and knows how to handle thick texture hair. Place was very clean and followed great safety measures. I think this my new go to place and new stylist!
I have been going to this salon for about 4 months and have always been very pleased with my services. My colorist and stylist have not only done a great job on my hair but have recommended products that have greatly improved the health of my hair! I even get comments now on how shiny and healthy it looks (something that Ive never had before as i have very dry hair)! The salon may have read these reviews and changed things because the front desk staff has always been very polite to me and always say hello as soon as Ive walked in. Also, I have been offered a complimentary neck massage each time Ive been. My only complaint is that they are a bit pricey, but Ill pay a little extra for leaving the salon happy each time!!
My daughter and I come here and have for years! We love it here! They are so awesome! From hair cuts, styles, color, makeup and hair styles for proms and homecomings - we’ve done it all here! I highly recommend Zano’s - we will be going there forever!!! Thank you!
I have been going to Zano for the last 8 years. My colorist is excellent and gives me great color and healthy looking hair. My stylist cuts my hair and my kids hair--she is a good listener and we are all happy with our haircuts.If you are going to Zano for the first time, I would schedule your appointment so you see your stylist first, then do your highlights--otherwise it is impossible for the stylist to know how your hair looked when you arrived.I do agree with another reviewer that the receptionists are not very personable. This is also true at the Downtown Naperville location. They also require you to use a debit card if you wish to put your gratuity on your card. Otherwise you can use a credit card and tip in cash, but that is a bit awkward because you need to remember to bring cash. Not sure why they changed to this policy but it is quirky, and makes the check-out process cumbersome.Overall, I have been happy with the products and services at Zano, and I go there because I have a great rapport with my colorist and stylist.
Visited this salon for keratin express blow treatment in January. I usually have dry hair so wanted to make my hair look better before my wedding which was in 10 days. After their smoothening treatment, they advised me to not wash my hair for 12 hours and use some sulphate free shampoo to maintain it. After almost 24 hours of treatment, I noticed that my fringes were slowly losing their straightness. I didnt mind it and washed my hair next day using a sulphate free shampoo. But to my horror, after the first wash all the keratin effect was completely gone and my hair became frizzy. I was shocked and went to the salon the same day to understand where did it go wrong. Thats when I started experiencing the worst customer service I have ever seen in USA. The lady at the reception heard my concern and she told me the stylist Castor, who did the styling for me a couple of days back was busy with another customer and asked me to wait. Though the other customer left, Castor took long time to meet me in the reception. After almost 25 mins of waiting, he came to me and told me that its natural for the hair to lose the straightness next day as its a temporary treatment. The so-called temporary treatment, according to them was supposed to stay for 4-6 weeks until I paid them. But the very next day, they say “your hair got back to its usual texture and thats normal because its a temporary treatment. Though it was rude, I explained him how I had to straighten it that morning at home to make it look better. For which, he demanded me a photo proof. Then I understood it was all lame talking to them and left. I have my photo proofs now Castor and dear ZANOS. I can show you how much it has changed in a few days after the treatment and how worse it has become thereafter. I went to this salon to get my hair look better for my wedding but to my horror they made it really worse that throughout the event I had to deal with extra dryness and frizz with my hair like never before. I dont understand what made them believe that I cannot understand what smoothening means. The stylist was so rude and repeatedly told me that its common for the hair to change after the first wash. I did not pay you for that, Zanos! That’s not what you promised me before the treatment. Am not going to use the photo evidence you asked me for, to talk back to you but I can at least show it to my kith and kin who wants to visit your salon and tell them how rude you could be in handling your customers who goes back with concerns.

Ive been going to Zano for at least five years now. Dao is an amazing stylist and I dont think I can ever leave the salon because hes so great! For color, Ive had a variety of colorists. Some have been great. In one case I was there for close to 4 hours and had to come back because the color wasnt working right. Another time I was charged double than usual with no explanation. I would say be up front about what you want with color and get the cost before you have the work done. My mistake was being a regular customer I assumed the color would cost around what it had previously.
I love coming here! The service is phenomenal! Every time i come in i am always greeted right away and offered a beverage. I come to Zano for my color and cut and i always leave feeling great! I have never had a better hair cut or color since coming here. Zano will always be apart of my beauty routine!
I love coming here for all my services! They offer everything from hair and nails to waxing. Britany is amazing when it comes to shellac and color, she nails it every time! Taylor cuts my hair and I always look forward to coming back! They are very professional and the whole environment is just pleasant.

I’ve been going to the same person for 3 years. This salon over books their clients and I find myself with others waiting around while the stylist is working through 3 others.. my anytime is 3+ hrs to get a partial highlight. This is because the stylist is working the others. It seems this salon is more worried about making every ounce of money possible, instead of making their customers their number one focus.
Was my first time there. I had received a gift card for my birthday and used it to get a pedicure. My appt was with Brittney, she was very pleasant to work with. Very professional, very relaxing. She did a great job! I will be back. Thank you!
I have been many times over the years. Haircut can be good, depending on stylist. I have had bad/good experiences. Recently I called to try to reschedule an appointment and person who was helping me was very rude. All in all I think I’m done with this place.
Love this salon so so much! I cant speak highly enough of Kayleigh, I have very dark brown hair and came in to see her with a few ideas in mind. She was a great listener while also giving me some recommendations & i LOVE how it turned out. The balayage is done beautifully. Its perfect for summer :)
I took my girlfriend there recently to get her hair done for a balayage. They didnt get anything close to the color she wanted,and the customer service from the stylist was terrible. She was VERY disrespectful, I dont remember her name but its started with a B. She left this place in tears from feeling like she was being made fun of by the stylist(s) in the room. They didnt get the color she wanted and still charged us full price for a barley noticable job. We saw all the great reviews and were shocked by the way they treated us. dont recomend this location
I havent been into the salon in almost 3 years. I went in to get my nails done this past weekend, and was amazed that not only did Brittany remember who I was, she remembered where I used to live, and what she had done with my nails the last time I was in.I highly recommend Brittany as she is super friendly, professional, and my nails always look GREAT!!!
Went in for a major change to my hair, went from long brassy blonde, to a medium cut, dark brown to blonde ombre, with bangs. Michelle and Carly were so incredibly in sync, and listened to everything I wanted and nailed it! Will definitely be going back. Had a great time, such a friendly atmosphere, and an absolutely awesome final outcome!
I love this salon. Everyone is so friendly and warm. But the real rockstar is my colorist Carly! She makes me feel like a million bucks! She’s taken me brunette to blonde, back and forth several times and she does it the right way. I’ve never trusted someone with my hair more. She’s an angel.
I went to Zano because of the $10 off deal for new clients and because they were the only salon open the day I needed a cut. I was matched with Kosta, a friendly and talented stylist who expertly reworked my hair into an entirely new style. Usually Im worried about having stylists with short hair since in my experience they are rough and mercilessly start brushing it out from the roots with a fine comb. He was extremely gentle, brushing the ends out, then the roots with great care. I asked that the overall length stay the same and he was considerate of that (most stylists go haywire with mid-back hair). He gave me bangs which were perfectly formed and was happy to rework the layers when I requested an even more drastic look. Overall, he was extremely professional and talented and I will be happy to return for highlights soon. I highly recommend Kosta!
I was going at the Ogden one for 10+ years. Everything was great until my stylist just up and left with no notice. They called me the day of my appt to tell me. I think for a client like myself who was there for a very long time should have been shown more respect than that. My mother in law was also going there for 20+ years! They did the same thing to her. I have since left there.
I was recommended to go to Zano hair salon by a colleague at work. I called and they had an appointment available to me that day! They have very accommodating hours and I was able to go in after work hours. I was so lucky to be randomly assigned to Kayleigh, who is a total ROCKSTAR!! She was amazing. She listened to exactly what I wanted, made sure it was what I wanted throughout, and I came home with the PERFECT balayage for my sisters wedding. Kayleigh is extremely talented and I would recommend any one to go and see her! Hurry and book an appointment, she is already packed for the holidays!

So I went here and it is very good high quality place, they had a color specialist who helped get out my previous colors. And a stylist who did the cutting and shaping. The results we wonderful and we exactly what I wanted, what I didnt like is that they took me late and the price was pricey. If you can afford it and dont mind higher prices come here.
Zano is one of the nicest spas in the area. I regularly visit this location because of the affordable manicures and pedicures. I also recommend Zano to anyone that is looking for a high-quality hair treatment. Their Kerastase hair treatment has drastically helped me.

This is not just the best hair salon in Naperville, but quite possibly the world. It is the only place in the world where someone like me, with hair virtually uncuttable, can find someone to tame my mane. My wife, sister, other sister, Aunt, cool neighbor and my younger brother have all started going here over the years. Additionally, in the lobby of the building by the elevator there is a bitcoin machine. Not only have I gotten amazing haircuts the past few years, but buying bitcoin has really paid off. It has dropped lately, especially today. However, I also feel like I got my best haircut today. It all balances out.

I have been going to Zanos for years now. I have been to most locations all with positive experiences. I currently visit this location since I work at Fair Oaks Ford Lincoln across the street. Kosta my stylist does a great job plus he laughs at my terrible jokes. I have also seen Deo whom I call Edward Scissor hands you have to see him to understand why lol. I felt like leaving a review as in my business word of mouth is gold. These guys deserve it.

2022-05-19I got a blowout and a haircut here. My stylist did a good job but I wasn’t a fan of how she constantly tried to convince me to buy more products/book more appointments and even stood over the receptionist at the end of the appointment to make sure i booked one, which made me uncomfortable. I already agreed to buy the shampoo/conditioner that she recommended and then she tried to convince me to buy more product on top of that. She also kept trying to convince me to let her color my hair and say what she would do to it which I didn’t ask for because i already have a colorist. It’s like she wouldn’t let up no matter how much i bought she had to recommend i get another thing, so for that reason I went to the downtown location and had a much better experience.

2022-05-04SAVE YOUR HAIR! DO NOT GO HERE! Hair stylists are very inexperienced. The one who tried to give me a balayage fried my hair only to dye it back the exact same color…wasting 4 hours of my life and the condition of my hair. Then the other stylist who cut my hair tried to convince me to cut my hair off up to my shoulders even though I expressed I’m growing it out and I only wanted a trim but that didn’t stop her. She proceeded to cut almost two inches off. Then after the cut I was the one who had to point out that my hair was the same color and in worse condition….they were just going to let me pay and leave. 0/10 don’t recommend.

2022-02-14Cannot say enough about this place! I accidentally forgot to book my cut with my balayage. I went back a couple of weeks later. Now I am separating it every time. Usually by the time I am done with color I am ready to go but the wash and cut was so relaxing. It was an experience than needed to be enjoyed all on its own!

2021-10-19Mycayla gave me an excellent deep massaging shampoo and hair treatment along with a fresh cut to give my hair some life again. Bouncy, shiny, healthy looking hair was the goal and she did it! The products she used and recommended have been working so well for me at home too. Thank you again Mycayla!

2021-02-03Taylor, one of the receptionists, is just the most lovely person I’ve spoken to in awhile. She was incredibly helpful and even went out of her way to call me back after someone cancelled, and offered me that better time slot. What an absolute super star, give her a raise, give her everything, she’s doing the lords work.Besides that wonderful customer experience, I’ve gotten my hair dyed her many times, and it always comes out spectacular, and healthy!

2021-10-25It was my first time at Zano and Mycalya did a great job with my hair. I wanted my hair cut in layers and she patiently heard me out and cut it exactly how I wanted it. I will definitely be back.
