Had a gift card from Christmas and so glad I waited bc I hit the semi annual sale and got 2 lotions, Body wash, candle and 3 plug in refills all for $45!! Great selection and new fragrances and they have many! Good customer service too!

I absolutely Love bath and body works. I get all my candles, soaps lotions. Body wash. Body sprays , lip gloss . Hand sanitizer, anything new they come out with I have.. hand lotions. Facial scrubs. Foot cream, foot scrubs.
The sales associates that are there are super nice and always helpful! The variety and sales are always the best! I have so many favorite scents now...lol...and the body sprays last a long time!!

Not this specific store but in general BBW loves to send misleading emails. They send emails saying that there is a sale in “select” hand soaps, which in the picture seem to be consisted of tens of varieties. However, today I went to store and saw surprisingly that the “select” was only three varities. I am sorry but you are purposefully misleading people.
The staff is friendly and helpful and the store has a nice variety of great-smelling products from which to choose. They offer quite a few deals such as buy 2, get 1 free.
Currently this location has fall scented candles. They have somebody to greet you at the door, the store is pretty small but they have single wick candles, 3 wick candles, body scrubs, body soap, lotion, hand cream, hand sanitizer, and hand soap (creamy and foaming). They also have an aroma therapy section that has lotions, body wash, sugar scrub, sanitizer, and even a mist that yoh can use on your pillows, blankets, sheets, clothes, and even in the shower. The store is very tidy and all workers wear masks and keep a physical distance and stay very kind.
Sales staff very helpful and polite! I love Bath and Body works! I purchased 5 for $23 foam soaps and got another for 2.95 coupon and free gift under $6! And on top of that I got 20% off! One of my favorite stores!

Emily, the store manager is so helpful! I went in expecting to buy a particular scented handsoap, but the scent was not in stock. She took extra time and called around other locations to see which store had it. She was super friendly and I appreciate her going out of her way for me! Definitely will be coming back for the great customer service. Thanks Emily!

The staff on E.State are very helpful, they introduce me to new scents based on my needs due to my scent allergies and sensitivities.
I like the Machesney Park much better. The employees are much friendlier. I think State St. are not that outgoing.

This store has so many scented candles and lotions, etc. Sign up for rewards. They have great deals and online also. After you spend a certain amount of $$ you can get one item free.
I have gone to many Bath and Body Works, but this location had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Instead of honoring a coupon that I forgot the day before, they told me I had to bring all of my items back in, to return them, and THEN I could repurchase the items with my coupon, instead of just adjusting the receipt. Never have I had any store address the situation this way, especially when I drove back with the receipt from less than 24 hours ago. Absolutely ridiculous. I will not be back to this location.
Amazing prices today and fully stocked selection! They are following guidelines that only allow 15-20 people in at once! Might have to wait in like for 5-10 minutes, but its well worth it!
Love the mens product here. The change in scents is sometimes not to my liking, but I always seem to find 1 good scent. Love when they have clearance bins. Do not miss that dale!

Came here for the semi annual sale, the cashier that checked me out asked me to hand over my cash before i was even finished counting out the rest of my change, i personally felt like that was rude & unprofessional especially when shopping at bath & body works is supposed to be more of a relaxing shopping experience in my opinion anyway, she was taller with brunette hair. I didnt catch her name but if i did i probably wouldve made a complaint to corporate.
Stopped here 30 minutes prior to closing to get some handsoap. Was told they were at capacity and were not allowing anyone else in the store. I told them I drove from beloit and just needed soap and was turned away. Is that any way to treat anyone trying to spend money at your store during a pandemic? Especially when they are driving way out of the way to you?
First of all this store is BEAUTIFUL! Sooo much better than the Cherryvale location in service. Emily took the time to help me find gifts for my entire list even though the store was very busy she did not rush me and I really appreciate that . She took the time to really ask questions to find out a little about each person on my list. Emily was very easy to talk to and this location is very lucky to have her!!!!
The staff at the East state location are absolutely amazing and have always been so helpful every time I have gone into the store. Well kept, and clean. Very organized, you can tell the store has a GREAT management team!
I wish I could say a positive about this location, but I sure not. Workers always follow you like if you’re about to steal something and most of them are very rude when you’re about to check out like if they hated being there.
The associates are WONDERFUL, theyre welcoming, always asking if you need assistance, and professional. The store is always organized and neat despite all of the traffic coming through the store.

You can fart in this store and no one would know.Now buy yourself something that smells good you nasty thing. You need Jesus.These stores survive in most places other retail stores dont, so that tells you how good they are. (Its always Bath & Body Works and GNCs in the deadest of malls...)
What a beautiful well maintained store. Every time I have visited this location, not like the mall, the staff has been extremely helpful & very knowledgeable. I am so happy with this location, don’t ever move it or close - so convenient.

2022-04-06I had a very disrespectful associate basically racial profile me today. I went to exchange my items for a gift for my friend. Upon entering and before I could get pass the door inside store, a ignorant sale associate stopped me. She told me to let her see my bag after I told her Im here to exchange items with my receipt. I gave her the bag & she rumbled through it like a crazie person. I immediately grabbed it back from her & walked away from her. I wasnt going to let her stupidity win by walking out of store! I began shopping for items but called customer service relations to file complaint of her ignorance towards me! They will follow up and hopefully fire associates who mistreats all people! #Black Shoppers Matter!!

2021-12-13Bath & Body Works is great, but... they are often out of the candle holders/Wallflower plug-ins that qualify for a free gift of up to $16.50 that you receive with points earned, or the price of the item you would like to choose as your free item is just out of reach because it is priced at $16.95. Please, B & BW, drop the price of those items down by $.45 so all of us loyal customers out there can get what they REALLY want instead of having to settle for a cheaper item!

2021-11-20Prices were too high for the items. I like a good deal and there were none! Even the hand mini sanitizer was 1.99 and it should of been 50 cent to 1 dollar. Iit stank in there cause its too many smells happening at the same time. I wish they had 1 air freshener open at 1 time. Some of the fragrance smell like boo boo , and the sales associate told me people still buy that and to her it stinks also. I wonder what some of these folks houses smell like. Uuuugh

2021-11-15Probably the most unfriendly staff in any BBW store Ive ever been in. Probably new hires but they need to be reminded to say excuse me and not just push in front of customers to restock. The exception was the ladies at the registers. They were very friendly.
