Last year they sold me a bad battery and they were very unhappy I wanted it exchanged. My battery is still in warranty and I asked then recently to check it out. They cant do that until after noon because they dont have enough employees in the store ( only 2). As I work afternoon every day - clearly I can never check or change this battery with them.
Boyfriend went in to have his battery charged and they told him he needs a new battery. He said nope Im going to auto zone, went to auto zone battery good and they charged it. Hes riding around on that same battery. Wouldve wasted $100 bucks on a battery for no reason at all. Bad service

On the store window it says hours of operation are until 9pm and online it says 8pm. This is a HUGE inconvenience!! I arrived at 8:40pm to find store closed yet window stating their open until 9:00. 😡💩

I went to buy a terminal for my battery urgently and the employee told me that I will look for it myself. When I took it to the counter to buy it, the clerk grabbed it and threw it with anger and told me that he was not selling it to me because I supposedly tried to cross the line (something that was not true). Ask for his manager and he scoffed and said that he was. This employees name was Jessie and it was Saturday New Years at 5 PM. He told me that his supervisor was arriving on Monday but could not give me his contact information. In the end, he did not sell me the terminal. Very bad experience and I recommend to others that they better give their money to other stores in the area.
I went to buy a hose that did not have the toilet, he recommended the one that they sell by feet, he charged me $ 21 when I went to the parking lot, he did not have room to change it and he told me that there are no returns because they can no longer sell it I felt completely robbed lousy who are to help
The people there do not speak Spanish, lets say they are gringos, but they dont have the cactus on their foreheads.
They serve you with good humorAnd you find everything in PartsFor cars I recommend it

2022-05-06I was working on my daughters car, she hadnt driven it in about 2 years! They had everything I needed to get the oil changed and filters changed and the cleaners that were necessary. No complaints.

2021-11-04Went in for battery warranty replacement, employee told me my warranty was expired. Simple math 3 year warranty, purchased in April 2019, 3 years would be April 2022. I tried to explain it to him, told me to come back in the morning and talk to manager. Did not even bother to try and process the warranty, to see if it was valid. Went back after work next day, thank God two other employees were present, they helped me get my warranty. They explained to him, April to April is one year, can’t count 2019 as a whole year. And still didn’t understand. Needless to say thanks to to the other employees who understand how it works. They quickly got the warranty process going and no hassle got a new battery. Those are the employees to get the 5 star reviews.

2022-01-02Customer service was ridiculously terrible. We went in and asked for a part and were lazily told to go look for it somewhere over there. The employee called us disrespectful for asking for help while he was working on something else. I believe good service is the ability to multi-task and professionally attend all clients, even if it means asking a client to please wait. When we asked to speak to the manager, the employee joked and said he was the boss laughing. His supervisor at the time took his side as well without listening to us. We frequent auto part stores often but the service made this a terrible experience. It is unfortunate when you are unsure of what kind of service youre going to recieve. Please consider buying from another AutoZone store in the area! Thank you.

2021-02-23I’m just one happy customer 😂. Wish this location was closer to my house because the staff was sooo friendly and gave such great vibes!Car battery died on our Lexus and spent the night an hour away from home ):Called this location first thing in the morning (7:30am) and they had a replacement battery in stock with different warranty plans. Staff was super helpful and gave some much needed recommendations!Purchased the battery and the staff swapped it out for me for FREEE and disposed of the old battery. Left a tip for the quick help and was back on the road in no time :) (I don’t own any tools so it’s not like I would’ve been able to do it myself on the spot unfortunately)

2018-10-19I came in for a battery install the staff where all friendly. but the star of the show was a guy named Jorge, he offered to put it in and brought out a 10mm snap on socket and I knew s**t was real. It only took him 5 min I really recommend Jorge this winter

2019-01-04The Advance Auto Parts store in Waukegan is a great store to shop for your car its a newer auto parts store that extremely clean and the staff are really friendly and extremely helpful. The Advance Auto Parts store is always kept stock with almost everything you need for your automobile, you are able to go in to get what you need and get out with very fast customer service.

2018-11-27My friend got some parts from another location, and at first they were not understanding the issue we were having. Finally after us being there for over 20 mins or so, they finally figured out was wrong and we left with new parts.We left satisfied and my friend got her brakes fixed. Thanks for the help guys!
