Going Athletico was the worst experience I have ever had. The therapist thought she was a doctor and tried to diagnosis me with something else. The exercises that were provided did nothing be aggravate my symptoms. After 2 weeks of no relief and not listening to me the patient. I finally went somewhere else, received the care and treatment that I needed and, respect I deserved. Never again Athletico!

I recently finished three weeks of occupational therapy for my hands at Athletico, West Chicago. Pain and stiffness had come on rather suddenly, and within a week of seeing Justin, the pain had become tolerable. After three weeks, instead of the anticipated four weeks, I was released from his care feeling so much better. I continue to do hand exercises and am thrilled to report my hands are, without question, stronger and almost pain and stiffness free. Many thanks to Justin (and his student, Weronika) for helping me accomplish this through their skill, knowledge, professionalism, and just the right amount of fun. Thanks also to Angela for running such a smooth ship. I highly recommend Athletico, West Chicago for occupational therapy.
Athletico did a great job for my shoulder! Betsy was very patient and very good with the shoulder issues I had. I had three operations and did not know if the last one worked. With the help of Betsy and the Athletico team I’m able to do normal daily activities!
I had an excellent experience at Athletico West Chicago. I specifically benefitted from a collaborative approach which utilized Physical Therapist, Betsy and Occupational Therapist, Justin. This team approach which included reevaluation and adjustments to treatment as warranted, led to a very individual, targeted treatment plan. This is a friendly, positive environment which I always felt was focused on my improvement. It is apparent that they enjoy their work and aim to make their patients as comfortable and motivated as possible. I recommend this team and facility to those looking to achieve their goal of getting back to optimal health in a timely manner. Cant thank this group enough.

I have just completed my occupational therapy sessions at this facility. I am completely pleased with their service, as they combine a perfect blend of professionalism with friendliness. Despite my sometimes discouragement, i felt listened to, cared for, and encouraged every step of the way. I wholeheartedly endorse this practice, and am sincerely grateful for their work with me. Great experience with Athletico in West Chicago. Quick and easy to make an appt and were able to accommodate after work hours. Betsy is great and easy to work with and my son has shown great progress. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come back for any physical therapy needs!
Justin, the manager and Amy, the OT had provided goals by creating a twice a week treatment plan centered in my trigger finger release surgery. On that ground, after a month, in the process, I have started recovering functionality, improved mobility and better range of motion thru complete treatment of conditions that affect my trigger finger issues.Athletico is truly pledged to keeping patients and employees safe by following the CDC protocols. I observed that the facility, especially the bathroom is immaculately cleaned and sanitized. The employees are committed to good hand hygiene and 6 feet distancing. The equipments and tables are properly spaced and sanitized.

I have been to Betsy @ Athletico for several different physical issues and she always is encouraging and helpful. Shes professional and compassionate, evaluating the problem and motivating me to regain previous strength or movement. I firmly believe in PT to help us as we age and misuse our bodies, and Betsy is one of the best ever.

Sorry to say today is my last day. I really enjoyed going to therapy with Betsy, shes the best. Had major back surgery and with her help I was able to get going. I would definitely recommend Athletico in West Chicago for your therapy needs. 🙂
After spraining my ankle I had some bad ligament damage. I couldn’t properly walk for about 7 months and came here to see if they could help. Not only did they get me up and walking again, but I’m sprinting and jumping almost as high I was before. After only 10 visits I understand what was wrong and almost back to 100% again. Super friendly staff, very understanding of where I wanted to be, you can tell they know what they’re doing and I never experienced much pain while pushing myself to strengthen my ankle.
Justin (manager) was very knowledgeable and great. Very good facility.
Physical therapy with Betsy has been fantastic! She pushes me to do the best that I can and beyond, all the while being patient and engaged with my progress. According to my doctor, I am reaching my milestones and it is because of her care and the environment at Athletico West Chicago. A special thanks to Betsy for being a great motivator!
Love, Love, Love this places once I walked in the door after my Dr. referred me to them. They were all very welcoming and nice starting with Ang at the front desk so nice love her. They worked around my work schedule due to the fact I work 2nd shift late so I can still get some sleep that was great. Every person that work on me from Betsy, Kristi, and the girls K and Val were so great and really helped me get through my foot issues. They all did there jobs to make me feel good and get me where I needed to be physically. Very comfortable atmosphere and relaxing, Justin was also very great, Because I didnt know they had hand Therapy lol and I got a awesome! free hand assessment from him. He helped me and recommended three great Drs. whenever I was ready see one if needed. Last day of therapy was Fri the Sept 20th and I was glad I was done, but sad all at the same time I will miss all of them, they were great people and fun conversations. Defiantly recommend them to anyone that needs physical therapy for anything.

I was referred to Justin after my thumb surgery. What a class act! He was professional and very knowledgeable. He always answered any questions that I had in a language I could understand. He gave me peace of mind that the aches and pains were all normal which encouraged me to continue with exercises at home to continue to improve. Every employee I encountered at this facility was friendly and helpful, making the environment light and pleasant. Thank you Justin for an awesome experience!!

This PT office has been by far the best place to bounce back and relieve all your aches and body pains. They have a very friendly staff. My personal PT kristie is very 100% reputable, from getting you to where you want/need to be, to setting your goals even higher. A awesome thank you So far to everyone at this office👍
Physical therapy isnt anything that any of us want to go through, but as soon as you walk in the door of the West Chicago Athletico you get a sense of being in the hands of caring professionals. Justin worked with me to regain the strength & flexibility in my broken wrist. He started by asking me what my needs & expectations were and then honestly told me what he would do to help me get the best results. Six weeks later I can say that he got me to where I wanted to be. Thank you Justin.
I came to be here after a total knee replacement. You get the sense that you’re in careing, experienced hands. Betsy my clinician was wonderful and had a wealth of knowledge. All there were very friendly and genuinely interested in my progress. I couldn’t imagine a better experience. Highly recommended.
I highly recommend the West Chicago Athletico if you need physical therapy. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable - and thats what we all need when were hurting. My therapist, Betsy, not only worked with me on getting my issue resolved, but gave me practical applications for doing stretches and exercises at home. And a shout-out to Tyler and Angela as well. I have worked with Justin several times over the past 3 years and have been extremely satisfied with the end results. I strongly recommend Justin for any OT you may need.
Something that really stood out for me was the neatness of the clinic. When I was brought back to see the therapist, they had disinfected signs located on all of the equipment as well as the tables. This made me feel more at ease since we are in the middle of a pandemic.
They got me in right away and explained everything they were going to do. I recommend you try them
Ive been coming off and on for 2 yrs and everyone is absolutely wonderful, very professional and has been excellent with making me feel safe during covid and taking extra precautions with keeping everything clean and sanitized. The entire team is awesome!!!
I had a Telehealth consultation to help me build a PT plan for a nagging shoulder injury. I found them to be patient and thorough in understanding my situation and provided me great resources to get started in my recovery process.
This place was great they were able to schedule me a early appointment and Justin was awesome very informative on helping and explaining every detail of why we we doing these exercises and why they would help would definitely be going back.
Just came in for a check-in. Justin was very nice and helped answer all the questions I had. Recommended me to a specialist that was also very good. He followed up on the appointment which is much appreciated!
Justin works at the West Chicago Athletico Physical Therapy Office, and he has been a huge help to me and my recovery. I had my left humerus break while slipping on ice back in December. He cut me a perfect hard cast, and has worked wonders on my recovery and physical therapy. Would surely recommend!

Atletico is a great place to do your physical therapy and staff is great and they are also flexible when making appointments.
A smaller clinic that takes the time to focus on your recovery. The people are personable and make therapy an enjoyable experience!
Jason & intern Jenny were exceptional in all aspects of my re-hab. Not knowing what to expect the Athletico West Chicago is exceptional. I live in Elburn and just wish they could have done the rehab there.

Great service and extremely helpful staff in terms of getting you in. Will adjust their schedules to make sure your recovery is going as planned. Everyone is knowledgeable of the exercises that are used as well as timeline and proper form, so their is no best choice.

Over 15 years ago I had a herniated lower disk that all but disabled me. I wore a back brace for about two years. For the following 15 years I supported my back with a pad whenever seated or sleeping. Dr. Karthick did wonders for me. I no longer need to support my back with a pad. All the people there are great! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

2022-03-02I injured my hip/lower back at work and my doctor recommended me Physical Therapy. She recommended me Northwestern PT, but I asked her if I could go to Athletico in West Chicago because I have had history there. They helped me with previous injuries and I already knew they were going to help me with this one. My therapist, Betsy, gave me stretches to do at home to help me with my recovery and tips on what I can do to improve my mobility and what I can do to prevent future at work injuries. She was with me every step of the way, even with others being in the building and made sure I was doing everything properly and corrected me if there were any mistakes. Overall, when it came to my last appointment, I was already feeling great and I felt like I have fully recovered. I’d like to thank Betsy and the staff for a great recovery and I enjoyed the family like bond and atmosphere I felt throughout every visit. Will definitely come back if other injuries occur and will definitely recommend to others. Thank you Athletico in West Chicago

2022-02-09Justin and Anna were wonderful with my therapy. Always asking how I was doing, if it hurt to do a certain thing or if it was ok to keep going. Both were very encouraging with my progress. Made it a very fun and enlightening place to be. Listened to all my issues if there was pain and no pain when I came in for my sessions. I highly recommend this location to anyone if an occupational therapist is needed for them.

2022-02-22I was so happy after my last session here at West Chicago Athletics! Betsy, my Physical Therapist, added in a new exercise and new stretches that really made a big difference in my shoulder condition. Everyone there - Justin and Lexi, too- is so attentive, kind and focused on helping me and others there. I give Athletico West Chicago my highest recommendations!

2022-03-31I was at this location for a fitness test. They made the test as realistic as possible, but could incorporate other more job specific exercises into the testing. I would also recommend taking vital signs after the more strenuous exercise. Overall a very good experience.

2022-04-05I have had to go for physical therapy at different times in my life for various issues. This year I had therapy at this location for an ongoing issue with my neck. The therapy I received here was exactly the right combination of treatment for pain and symptoms, along with guidance and direction on what I could do to help myself get better. Just phenomenal staff here.

2021-09-16Coming to Athetico has been a great experience. The staff is professional, friendly, and efficient. They have appointments open when you need them. Ms. Boyd and her assistant Mari they are always enthusiastic and you can tell they enjoy helping you get better as fast as possible. Angela is always friendly. Overall they environment is amazing if you need therapy this is the place to go!.
