Tammy has always been very professional and helpful when providing physical therapy after one of my joint replacement surgeries. She listens to my concerns and then provides the needed assistance to speed recovery from those procedures. I would certainly recommend Tammy and Athletico.
I sprained my neck and Jason was really crucial in my healing process. While he helped strengthen my neck and shoulders during our sessions, he also showed me exercises that would eventually help me get back to the gym on my own time. On top of that, he massaged my neck to ensure that the soft tissues would heal and strengthen. Overall it was a very positive experience, and all of Jasons coworkers seemed like they were as dedicated to their patients as he was to me.
I was sent to Athletico by my neurologist after I spent 10 years with a serious balance problem due to a fall on icy pavement followed by 10 days of being mostly unconscious from 2 bleeding hematoma anD 7 days relearning how to stand, sit and walk. Evan Corsolini observed the balance issues I still had and created a progressive set of strengthening exercises for my legs and for balance. I both enjoyed the challenges and observed myself becoming stronger and more sure of myself. I worked several weeks with Evan. Thanks, Buddy!
Tammy is a miracle worker! As a breast cancer survivor, I have been dealing with the after-effects of radiation and mastectomy scarring since the treatments ended. With Tammys guidance and help, I now have greater range of motion and less pain than Ive had in years. She was compassionate and listened carefully to my concerns, formulating a plan that included both current and lifelong advice to continue my progress. She even helped me change my posture which in turn improved my balance. I was so impressed with her help that I expect to have future visits for any and all physical therapy needs.
Athletico in Cary is the best facility and has the most professional staff for for rehabilitation and physical therapy after illness or injury. I was fortunate to have Dr. Adam for several orthopedic recoveries and in every instance his knowledge of my injury and subsequent treatment protocols were effective and complete. Dr. Adams friendly instructional manner helped me understand the purposes and expected outcomes for specific healing exercises. Also the engaging and helpful staff at Athletico-Cary support the smooth operation with a caring and friendly spirit!
I highly recommend working with Evan at Athletico in Cary! He was patient, kind, and took the time to listen and understand my experience with pain and movement issues. I also very much appreciated all of the information he shared about how to improve my physical health and how to complete exercises at home. Over the several months we worked together, I regained the ability to move better, I have many more pain free days than before, and I feel a lot more confident in myself. I hope to take what I learned and continue to apply it to continue getting stronger and improve my mobility.In addition to my PT, the staff at Athletico were all friendly, helpful, and respectful. Shout out to Raquel for all of your assistance with scheduling and insurance questions :)I will definitely be visiting this office again if I have any need to in the future and will recommend to my friends and family as well!Edited to add: the staff are following COVID protocols. Everyone is wearing masks, asked to wash/sanitize their hands upon arrival, temp checks, etc. And I saw someone cleaning very frequently and in between clients using each machine.
Following hip surgery in January I signed up at Cary Athletico for physical therapy. Location is easy access clean and spacious. Staff proved to be respectful and very helpful. Kurt my therapist was excellent; experienced, knowledgeable, and a great motivator with a great sense of humor. Highly recommended
From the moment I stepped in to Cary Athletico I felt welcome and cared for. My Physical Therapist, Curt consistently made sure I was doing my therapy correctly and was in no discomfort. The environment is friendly and comfortable. I never once felt awkward getting therapy in the view of others. All the therapists are attentive to each ones needs and are very personable making PT a good experience. It is apparent care is taken in making sure equipment is kept clean and ready for new patients. Overall I had a very good experience. I’d recommend Athletico and also go back if needed.
This is the second time Ive had physical therapy at Athletico in Cary. Tammy Baruth is awesome. She is full of knowledge, positivity and encouragement. I came in to relieve pain in my lower back and right hip. After only two sessions, my pain was gone. Loved the exercises on the ball and have now purchased one of my own. Tammy was right; this was a life changing event for me and Im so grateful for her and the folks at Athletico!
The atmosphere at Athletico in Cary is positive, uplifting and friendly.I came into the office with painful Achilles Tendinitis. Through Tammy Baruths manipulation and exercise program, I am healing quickly. Tammy is an amazing therapist. She is caring, friendly and very knowledgeable in her field. She always suggests different ways to improve my condition. Tammy spends one hour with me, one on one both exercising and manipulation. Great services. They really understand what you need for recovery and getting better. I worked with Jason as my PT. This was my second time coming to Athletico for 2 separate issues. The entire staff is knowledgeable and helpful. My issues were addressed and Jason wanted to make sure I was ready to end sessions and comfortable with my progress. During Covid I felt safe and the facility was very clean, staff wore masks and temperatures were checked. Highly recommend Athletico!!
Being at Atletico for nearly 18 months because of arthritis in the knees to 2 complete knee surgeries was the best therapy I could have received. My Therapist Kurt has done a great job of helping me become totally pain free and able to walk better then ever before. I couldnt have done it without his help. Jason the facility manager operates the clinic very professionally and all the workers at the Cary location treat you with respect and like family. I would highly recommend Atletico in Cary.
Everyone at Athletico Cary from the therapists, to the assistants, to the front desk staff were awesome! Evan was my therapist and he was great working with me and developing a plan to help me heal. While he was my main therapist, all of the other therapists were very friendly and welcoming also. I really enjoyed coming in to work with them because they all made it fun! I highly recommend!
I have been going to the Cary, IL Athletico for several months. On the first day the lady at the front desk asked my name and from that day forward each and every day after that I was always greeted by name. I really feel so lucky when I was introduced to my PT Evan. Evan took me into one of the conference rooms to discuss my problem as to why my doctor recommend therapy. He was very knowledgeable about what I needed to get my knee back in shape. He was gentle. but tough on me to get the routine needed for my recovery. I got to enjoy going because Evan was so nice, but always professional. I would recommend Athletico to everyone needing PT, a GREAT all around staff, they are all knowledgeable, professional and friendly.
I had such an incredible experience at Athletico, I had been there with Adam for my feet in 2012 and just finished for my back. Both times he has been fantastic. Beginning of August, I could hardly pick up a box on the ground and my range of motion was limited. Now, I’m very happy to say that because of Adam’s exercise plan and constant encouragement, my overall strength has improved, my back pain is gone, and I’m able to move freely without worrying about my back hurting. I am so appreciate for Adams help as well as the kindness of the rest of the staff who are all so encouraging. Adam is a fantastic trainer and the environment is so positive and everyone is willing to help you (someone even did planks with me). I couldn’t recommend Athletico enough.Thank you Athletico!!
I had wonderful experiences at Athletico. I was in a severe car accident in July, and thought I would have permanent hip damage. Evan and Devin took great care of me, and my hip feels great!! Raquel is an awesome receptionist. always a pleasure to deal with. I will reccomend Athletico to others. Hopefully, I will just visit occasionally.
I had a great experience with both Jason and Paige at Athletico in Cary. I started coming to this location to take a test in order to return to sport, but decided to continue my therapy here after Jason was able to pinpoint weaknesses that no other therapists had caught. After he and Paige addressed these concerns, I feel extremely confident as I head back to college soccer.Jason and Paige were both awesome and extremely knowledgeable in my care and gave me tools to continue to improve even after I head back to school. I had a great experience here and I would recommend this location to anyone.
I have just recently completed 16 weeks of Rotator Cuff therapy at Athletico in Cary. The results of the Physical Therapy have been very successful, soI am happily moving on to fully using my repaired and healed shoulder.My experience at Athletico was very positive. The entire staff was so friendly and professional. My individual therapist, Kurt VanAlstine, carried me from zero to full recovery. I trusted and followed him and was rewarded with great success. I was, in short, completely satisfied at Athletico.
I have been a long time client at the Athletico in Cary. I could not feel better about the compassionate and competent therapy that I have always received there. The clinic is very well managed. My treatment needs and welfare have always been the priority of everyone in the clinic. I would highlight the vast knowledge, capability, and professionalism of my therapist Adam Fritsch. He will do anything that he can to address my continually evolving physical therapy needs. Any person with who needs PT, could not be in a better hands.
Great place for PT. From the minute you walk in the door, everyone is great. Caitlyn and Raquel are super friendly every day as they greet you. Got very positive results from Adam starting on day one. He listened attentively as I described back pain I was experiencing. Then designed exercises that I was capable of performing until it got better. He pushed me to heal, but not so much that the symptoms were aggravated. I highly recommend this facility.
This was my second time around using this location by choice! The entire staff there is so pleasant and helpful at all times.... not once did I ever walk in and wasnt greeted by name! Very clean and upbeat facility I always felt encouraged in the environment itself. Adam was my P.T. this time around he was awesome! Along at his side was a wonderful graduating student Ashley she was just as awesome! I started therapy at a very low painful point and within my treatment weeks I was and am up and moving and feeling a million times better.....this is due to both Adam and Ashley. They took the time to listen, ask, discuss and set a plan with wiggle room in between. Their words of encouragement and pushing me too succeed was great for who I am. I worked hard there and followed my plan as us three put together, total teamwork!! Thank you all for another successful time around!!
I’ve received treatment for my knee after surgery, neck, hip, and shoulder and all were successful. In addition to improving physically, I also learned a great deal about continuing to strengthen and maintain my range of motion after I “graduated.” Evan is a terrific therapist and teacher —knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant. And the PT assistants and desk staff are friendly and capable. Great place to receive treatment and work as a partner in building and maintaining health.
I had hip & leg pain so physical therapy was prescribed by my doctor. I went to Athletico in Cary, IL. Tammy and the entire staff there was great. I highly recommend this location.
This location is WONDERFUL! I was there to see Evan for left knee pain and going there has made my left knee feel so much better! All of the staff are very friendly and really get to know their patients overall and want to genuinely help each and every one of them. They are all very knowledgeable with PT and kinesiology and design workouts/exercises specific to the patient’s needs and their injury to help them feel better.
Last fall I had extensive foot surgery. When I was cleared to start physical therapy, I asked to be referred to Adam Fritsch at Athletico in Cary. (Adam helped me years before to recover from a high ankle sprain.) This time I brought a list of 5 goals for my recovery to Adam. Adam worked with me to achieve my goals. Adam is a fantastic communicator. He listens well and guides the client to be fully engaged in the client’s recovery. I also observed Adam mentoring a colleague from another Athletico clinic. I was impressed with how Adam shared his knowledge with his colleague and me. If I ever need physical therapy again, I will definitely ask for Adam Fritsch

Athletico was great and I was extremely happy with my results. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, the facility was clean and comfortable and Adam was knowledgeable and easy to work with throughout my visits. Im now on the road to recovery thanks to Adam and Athletico. Thank You! :0)

Most times I have worked with Adam Frisch who has taken the time to evaluate and recommend exercises and toning work that has helped tremendously. I want to start off by saying that the whole staff at Athletico-Cary is totally awesome. They are all so welcoming and really make you feel like you are part of their family. When I first came into Athletico, I had terrible back pain that was really affecting my daily life. Paige took care of me and made me feel right at home. From day one, Paige listened to me and came up with a plan that fit me and my schedule. Paige really went above and beyond my expectations by always mixing up exercises and keeping physical therapy from becoming a dreaded chore. I am happy to say that I am now pain free and living a normal life thanks to Paige and the Athletico crew!
Ive worked in the service industry for decades and I know how important it is to earn the trust of a customer. Jason Myers and his team have earned mine, 5 Stars. I have frequented them for various treatments and they have taken the time to evaluate what is needed, and each time have delivered the results. It can be a frustrating endeavor towards recovery, yet they take the time to walk the patient through the process and provide the encouragement to achieve excellent results. I would highly recommend Athletico in Cary, IL. First your immediately greeted and treated both friendly and professionally. Then they get a good understanding of how you are doing. They want to know of any changes whether good or bad. From there they make decisions on the best course of action to take. We go through all the therapy exercises and all the while youre at the appointment, theres friendly fun conversation with the staff and other patience. I saw immediate improvement but for me I continued to have symptoms. We discussed it and it was recommended I see my doctor to discuss if the medication may be contributing. Come to find out that was true. I couldnt be happier with the results from going to Athletico Physical Therapy in Cary.
I am extremely thankful and grateful to have met Adam. I had severe sciatica pain when I first started going to Athletico. Adam put a lot of effort into finding out exactly what was causing my pain and came up with a lot of different exercises for me until we found a few that truly worked. He is very articulate in explaining what each exercise does and how it works. As of today I am pain free, which I didn’t think could happen because of the pain I was in. All of the staff members are very friendly and knowledgeable. I never felt judged or uncomfortable while I was there. I can’t thank you all enough.
I had an amazing experience at Athletico Physical Therapy- after foot and ankle surgery, I spent several months there. Adam was my physical therapist and was very knowledgable and professional. Every single person at that facility made me feel welcome and comfortable. I will always be a client if need be in the future!
I found the atmosphere casual and welcoming. The staff is cordial and makes you feel welcome and at home. Kurt was great to work with but also kudos to Beth and the supporting staff. After a short while I felt like going to a social event where they also did physical therapy. Oh and by the way, my shoulder feels a heck of a lot better again.
The atmosphere here is family the second you walk through the door. I have worked with Jason every time for injuries in nearly every joint and every time he has released me stronger than before I was injured putting me ahead when I was released. Everyone from the physical therapists to the aides is friendly and from day one makes you feel like a regular. I would be shocked if someone went to athletico and came out less healed and feeling unwelcome.
Awesome experience. Had first knee surgery 10/2018 second knee 11/2018. Worked really hard at PT. Noticed unusual pain, started walking differently, It was suggested I see the foot doctor in Cary. Turns out needed orthodics to correct my gait and standing, plus new very supportive shoes so that I would get the full use of my knees and feet. Very happy it was discovered, very pleased with PT routine and schedule and therapist. Feels like I just left my family.
I was there for my shoulder, I was in pain and had little motion on my right arm. I am so pleased with the results. my therapist was Beth, I was looking forward to go for treatment twice a week. Beth made me feel much better. So professional and a lot of patience. I had to change the hours many times but the staff was so nice and they worked to accommodate me all the time. Thank you all.
I found the entire staff at Cary Athletico to be professional, courteous, kind and caring. When I was having a bad day, they listened and helped me to see that I WOULD get better. And I did! I couldn’t walk when I came in their door. I had bursitis in my hip. Through Tammy’s encouragement and exercises I left able to climb up stairs and walk around without constant pain.
The therapists here are top notch! Very knowledgeable and have been able to help me with a variety of post-op rehab sessions. On top of their expertise, the entire staff (therapists, assistants, and office staff) is super friendly. I actually looked forward to my appointments! I would highly recommend them to anyone (even my own mother)!
Extremely caring, knowledgeable, effective staff. Came here for therapy after minescus surgery, and the results have been amazing. Ive had physical therapy many times for various injuries, and Jason is the firs therapist who has completely explained the procedure, why Im feeling certain aches and pains, and he puts up with my complaining. I highly recommend this facility.

My therapist, Adam, was extremely knowledgeable and a good people person. He was in the process of training Ashley, a very bright student from Northwestern University who really knows her stuff and is learning from the best. They evaluated my problem quickly and had me pain free within a month.
Our therapist Kurt VanAlstine was knowledgeable and extremely patient with our son. We are extremely pleased with the care we received from Kurt and would not hesitate giving a recommendation to use Kurt as a therapist. Highly recommend this Athletico facility.
I went to Athletico for what I thought was sciatic pain. Turned out it was lower back. I have continued to do the PT exercises I was taught three times a week. I remain pain free. Staff is dedicated and encouraging. Highly recommend.
My son was referred here by his orthopedic surgeon.Jason took the time to really listen to my sons needs to get him back in the game.As soon as we walked in the doors everyone greeted us, made us feel comfortable and welcome.I would definitely recommend this facility.
7 months ago I had total left knee replacement surgery and started my therapy at Athetico Cary. Adam and staff were excellent in their care, knowledge and understanding and I am happy to say I walked out of my last appointment today with no limp and a boat load of gratefulness! Great facility, Clean and staff very knowledgeable. I spent most of 2018 here due to stress fracture and shoulder tear. All the PTs there know what they are doing and have recommendations for making recovery quicker. I have a crazy work schedule and not once did I have a problem making my appointment.

Friendly and capable staff! Treatment was geared to my particular problem. I never felt that I was receiving “cookie cutter” therapy! I would definitely recommend this physical therapy center.

2022-02-11My experience was excellent at every stage. I went in with pain and had difficulty sleeping. Finished my treatment today and I’m sleeping well and able to do all the things I need to do. The atmosphere there is welcoming, professional and there’s always a laugh or two along the way!My thanks to Jason, my exceptional therapist, and the staff. You definitely made my life better!

He was attentive and a good listener. Im back on track and feeling equipped to continue building strength even though Im done with my sessions.

2022-07-17My son had an injury to his pitching elbow that sidelined him from playing throughout the high school and travel season. Jason Myers did an excellent job with his analysis, instruction and encouragement for my son until he felt it was strong enough for him to play. I would highly recommend Athletico and Jason. They do a fantastic job!!!

Jason was my therapist and I credit his expertise to my full recovery and range of motion. 2022-01-14Had an awesome experience here, thanks to Eric! I was diagnosed with a total PCL tear just one month after starting a new, physical job. My doctor was sure I was a good candidate for PT over surgery, but I wasnt convinced. I couldnt bend my leg, kneel, do squats, or walk up stairs without significant pain and a feeling like my leg was falling apart. Eric, though, believed I could heal and developed targeted exercises that escalated as I improved. Improvement was surprisingly fast. And even though I had to cut my schedule short due to moving out of state, Eric made sure I was prepared and educated to continue my progress. Happy to say just 4 months after my injury, I ran my first ever 5k. Now I can sit crosslegged without my leg falling asleep. I run miles a week. And I started cross country skiing - less than a year after the tear, I hope to complete a 15k race. This summer Im signed up for a half marathon and a few mountain climbs. You all should be really proud of the work you do!
