After being an athlete for years, I learned that injuries are sometimes unavoidable. When I got injured at work I wondered how I was going to be able to return to a strenuous and demanding physical job when I was out for four months. The team at Athletico Aurora South went above and beyond to get me to where I needed to be. Jordan worked to make job specific simulation exercises to prepare me. Kristen also worked with me and challenged me to push my body in a safe way so I could progress and get stronger, while still making sure my knee was healing. They both listen to what you say and cater the appointment to what you need. Nobody wants to get injured and I hope I won’t ever have to be a patient here again. However, if an injury occurs there will be no other place I go to except here. From the friendly greeting from Gabby at the front desk to the two physical therapists ready to work with you, this is the best post injury care I’ve ever received. I’m going back stronger than before my injury, and I’m completely pain free. Thanks to the whole team!!
Ive been receiving PT here for my back, and really appreciate the friendliness and professionalism. They have flexible hours, scheduling is super easy, and the treatments have been effective. The staff at Athletico Aurora-South is very knowledgeable and kind. I was referred to this practice by Castle Orthopedics. I had an almost frozen shoulder after being in a sling due a clavicle fracture. I just finished my 6 weeks of therapy. Physical therapist Joe B. has done an outstanding job helping me. He is very knowledgeable regarding treatment methods and how to continue therapy at home leveraging easy to follow exercises and techniques. Great experience all the way around – The practice is highly recommendable. Thank you!
I became a patient in 2016 to 2020. Not only did they help me physically but also mentally. My therapist Mike taught me tools to use to help myself the days I wasnt in therapy. Mike was a Godsend and I appreciate him more then words could say. Gabby would greet you with an hello and warm smile and a soft have a nice day . The atmosphere was pleasant with some laughter and with me being in a dark place laughter is what I needed. Ill always be grateful to the team.
I went to this location for therapy two years ago after breaking my ankle and having it surgically repaired. I had a great experience at the time. Recently I went back because I had lost range of motion in my left shoulder and my doctor had approved therapy. She and I were hoping that this would help me avoid continued problems, the shoulder worsening, and possible surgery in the future.Mike, the therapist I worked with, helped me get range of motion back. He did a great job of manually manipulating elements of my shoulder to get things released and moving again. He made sure I understood some of the little movements I needed to make in order to isolate certain muscles to support my shoulder. He worked through each exercise I needed to do in the office, as well as giving me a home exercise program while I was getting therapy. Once I completed therapy there, Mike made sure I had all the resistance bands I would need to continue working at home. Im back to being able to move my shoulder the way it should.The best part of this location is that they make everything fun, even when its really hard work. I laughed a lot, which made the time and work seem to go faster. The staff (Mike, Christa, Nick and Gabi) are all excellent and they really care about getting you back on your feet and back to normal.
The staff here is awesome. They really know what they are doing and the atmosphere is great. They don’t over book times and make me feel like I am a priority. They make very individualized plans and work to make sure you’re feeling better each day or confident that you will feel better with time.
Great experience! Helped me nurse my knee injury to the point I’m ready to start playing soccer again. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly, they we’re a blast to work with.
I went to the Athletico on Montgomery Rd, Aurora, IL following hip replacement surgery. Most of my therapy was handled by Mike but it is a total team effort. If anyone saw me finish an exercise they were right there to get me started on the next or ask if I needed anything.The entire staff keep things light and upbeat to the point on me looking forward to going to PT. I completed my sessions in MUCH better shape than when I started.I have needed physical therapy before and it wasnt like this.They even arranged transportation for me until I could drive again. If I need follow up or additional PT this will be my location of choice.
This place is great! Every single staff member is very knowledgeable and overall fantastic people. I spent some time here rebounding off of a knee surgery; they took really great care of me and got me back to my normal schedule. I will miss coming in to see my PT people! Would highly recommend!
I have been going to the facility for months after an accident and the people are great. Gabby is amazing and Kristin, Mike , and Joe are the best physical therapists!! I have been very happy with the attention they give me and the progress I have made. I would recommend this location to everyone!
This is our second time having a child needing PT and I can not say enough nice things about this facility. From the minute you walk in the door and Gabby greets you to the wonderful PT’s you are in great hands. Joe was so kind and made sure my son was ready to return to sports even giving him exercises to do at home. If you are looking for a friendly and knowledgeable place for PT this is your place.

For my experience that I had was amazing I used to go to physical therapy somewhere else and I didn’t have a good experience with the other physical therapy place it was Athletico it was somewhere else but once I can here they helped me really well they helped me fix my problems that I had and they were amazing with the appointments and the staff here are really friendly and I will forsure be back here if I have any other problems👍🏽

Cam, Mike, and Gabby were great to work with for the treatment of my sons groin injury. Easy to get the appointments we needed when we needed them and always greeted with a smile and great energy. Hope we dont have another injury but if we do, we for sure will be back here.

Our 11 yr old son was refereed to Mike by his concussion specialist for the RTP testing process and everyone there, Gabi at the front desk, Cam the PT and Mike were so great with our son. They all made him feel very welcomed, comfortable, explained every process and why, and checked on him throughout each step of the process during all three appointments. I highly recommend Mike and Cam!
I had a slight tear in my shoulder and cleaned up scar tisses. Joe B is an incredible therapist. He is incredibly smart and extremely knowledgeable. My experience was amazing.

I went to Athletico for a frozen shoulder and my therapist, Joe, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable on the injury and successfully unfroze my shoulder. Im incredibly thankful! Ive successfully rehabbed an ankle sprain and displaced floating ribs with Athletico South Aurora. All the staff are courteous, knowledgeable, and adaptive to every individuals needs. Also, all employees can understand Spanish, and some of them speak it fluently.
Excellent service and the staff based on my experience was very warm and caring recommended 100% and in a matter of excellent sanitation.
They are very approachable and friendly and speak Spanish!

2022-09-09I attended physical therapy for my ankle at this location and Joe and Jordan were great to work with. I worked mainly with Joe and he was always able to pivot depending on how I was feeling or what I could comfortably do on any given day. I felt like it was always worth while attending my sessions and my ankle feels so much better! Their schedules were always extremely flexible and I could make appointments around my work and home life. Highly recommend!

2022-08-19Every time that I needed physical therapy (for various body parts), Ive always chosen Athletico on the South side of Aurora. The staff are great, friendly, professional and kind. The communication is consistent about my exercises, pain levels, difficulty levels and progress. The variety of exercises have strengthened my knee and restored my confidence so that I can live my best life. I am greatful to the entire staff for their expertise and kindness.I highly recommend Athletico for physical therapy needs.

2022-07-29Oh man, where do I begin? When I went to my first session, I was really nervous. I was in pain and wasn’t able to do much. I’ve met some of the most supportive, helpful, encouraging and incredible staff members at the Aurora South location. My physical therapist, Jordan Hirstein, made sure he took take care of me and my knee injury. Every session was a challenge, in a good way, meaning that I’ve improved THAT much in the period of time I had with Jordan. If you’re ever in the position of looking for a place for physical therapy, this Athletico Physical Therapy Aurora South location is it! You won’t regret it!

2021-04-04Athletico Aurora South is hands down, the best PT clinic in the area. Their flexible hours, friendly and compassionate staff, and gifted therapists and assistants had me on the way to healing and greater mobility almost immediately. They never overbook so you feel like a priority. The open layout allows the therapists to monitor and offer feedback throughout the visit. Kristen, Jordan, and Danny challenged and encouraged me. They made sure I had the tools and developed the habits to maintain the progress I made after therapy ended. Going to PT is a big commitment of time; the atmosphere makes it easy to want to be there. Kristen is incredibly gifted, professional, and personable. I am so thankful to their staff for their care and their role in my healing.

2021-05-05Athletico Aurora South is by far the best PT clinic in the Aurora area! The staff has been absolutely amazing with helping me start to feel better and get back on my feet. Really enjoyed walking into the clinic to Gabbys smile even though she had a mask on could still see it, Kristin was absolutely amazing made the whole process very easy and comforting as well as fun, got to work with Jordan a bit he was awsome, also got to work with Danny and he was just as amazing!

2021-09-21I got PT at Athletico in Oswego. It’s the best place to go for any hype of Physical Therapy for any type of injuries or discomfort. I was working with Kristin Eward. She is the best therapist and does her duty very carefully. She goes above and beyond with her care and make everyone very comfortable. There are other very nice staffs I met. The Manager Jordan Hirstein as well as the receptionist Gabriela Santillanes. They are very helpful and very welcoming overall environment. I loved the PT I got here. I completely recovered in less than four months. I would strongly recommend Athletico to anyone who need Physical Therapy.
