Aspen Dental in other cities:
Went in to get an adjustment on my upper plate they Went to make a mold and it was extremely painful I told them that my dentures were loose why is it painful to get adjusted he laughed and said no pain no gain this was the first day I took off work went back in to pick them up and we’re way out of whack could not even them get in my mouth they actually sent me home with them and they didn’t even fit or go in my mouth drank all my meals that day had to miss another day of work So they can make me a whole new plate had a different dentist do it this time so what I ended up doing instead of getting an adjustment they had to make me a whole new plate. called to make an appointment to get adjustments and told me I’d have to wait and wanted me to take another day off work! worst experience ever. so after losing two days pay I still had to pay them almost $400 to adjust my plate I would never recommend this place to anybody. Once I get them fitting correctly I will be done and I will never return nor will my family!!!
Waste of money to have a dentures done here.... me and my husband spend a $10k done our teeths and get a dentures but we can not even use it and my husband looks like have a horse teeth... and my dentures wont even close my mouth so I dont use the bottom. .... my husband use his temporary now for almost 2 years and the permanent is garbage....! I dont recommend aspin dental after what happens to us!#Aspin Dental: How you expected we eat is we not close our mouth because our dentures not close and how you guys want to go out when you have the dentures that you made is looks like a horse teeth!!!!!
I would not recommend this place to anyone! Nice, clean facility, but all they are out for is your money. I had my X-rays done and been told that I needed 16 different things done to my mouth on top of putting crowns in that I had never asked. I had to have three separate appointments, when originally I all I wanted done was to have two teeth extracted. I had told them repeatedly that that’s all I wanted and needed done and finally I got that. I had been paying each time before the appointments. I had gotten the two teeth pulled with insurance and the bill after paying over 600$ leading up to the extractions was all together over $2,100!! Mind you this did only take them 10-15 minutes to complete and extract them. I will never go back to Aspen Dental, I had another dentist look over my teeth and told me that all I needed was the two teeth pulled. The other things that they had wanted me to get done were not needed at all and just to raise the bill at the end.
I went to Dr. Jalil and I felt like my life was in jeopardy for 3 months. All they wanted to do was upsell upsell upsell. If you cant afford the treatment plan you are just left to suffer and die. I told Sarah in the business office I did not want to die, I told Dr. Jalil I did not want to die, I told the assistant I did not want to die. If you cant afford their treatment plan, you have to suffer in misery. It took me 3 months to get them to agree to pull 2 of my 4 infected teeth. Horrible, would not take my dog there. You cant just let someone suffer and not provide basic services. I really thought I was going to die.
To preface, Its been a few years since Ive been here and have seen another dentist to confirm my suspicions. This place is set up to get as much money from you as possible. I was given a quick checkup which was followed by the dentist saying I had I had horrible gum disease, needed crowns, needed teeth extracted, the whole 9. Then I got shuffled into an office to discuss how I would pay for treatment where they pushed credit lines with awful interest rates. I was dumb and desperate so I went with it.They started with the crowns that I likely didnt need even though I had a tooth with a huge hole in it (hmm I wonder why?). Of course they didnt clear that with the insurance before they did it so I had a unexpected 3k bill on top of what I expected to pay. Then I looked up this companies track record and stopped going. I suggest searching Aspen Dental Lawsuit. Also they didnt have an oral surgeon so they sent my wife to the shadiest dentists office I have ever seen.Since then Ive seen another dentist. Teeth they said needed extracted just needed fillings and a root canal.I would avoid this place or at the minimum, I would get a second opinion before signing up for anything
Let’s admit it… everyone dreads going to the dentist. (Especially if you haven’t been there in a while…) But I had the most amazing experience at Aspen Dental that I’m actually kind of excited for my next visit. Every single person I interacted with was SO GENUINELY KIND and that’s not something you experience often anymore. Thank you for taking such great care of me team, I’m referring EVERYONE to you!
Amazing experience!!! My teeth look great and the whitening I had done is amazing! The whole staff is super friendly. Alyssa, Cynthia, Sara, Dr. Xue, Dr. Jalil, Ashton, Alexa, Nicole, Amber, Shelby, Melissa, and Margee are the best dental office staff I’ve met! They make the whole place feel welcoming and comfortable! Will definitely be back for my next cleaning in 6 months. I highly recommend Aspen Dental!
I went in at 10:15, was in for x-rays by 10:20 and was seen by the doctor by 10:50 (after xrays and being seen by a hygenist). They also had a cleaning available immediately. The staff was extremely polite and Melissa, Ashton and Sarah were by far the nicest people Ive encountered in a dentist office. Dr. Xue was thorough and explained everything thoroughly. 10/10 definitely will recommend an office visit at the Peru location.
I went to aspen dental and at the beginning I felt relaxed. Great staff and very friendly. They did a lot of X-rays, 3-D scans and everything. When I met with the dental hygienist, she informed me of some very disturbing news and I was devastated. There was no compassion and all they wanted was my money. They were trying to charge me for something my insurance didn’t cover and something I didn’t actually need. They also stated that for every visit i would need to pay my deductible. I went and got a second opinion because something wasn’t right. I was informed that I didn’t have gum disease and my insurance covers everything that I needed to get done. But I didn’t stop there. I went to another dentist so I’d have 3 opinions and still I didn’t have gum disease and my insurance covered everything. Please be aware of the scam artist that are here. They over charge and tell you things that’s not true. Yes the place is nice, the staff is friendly and it’s a great atmosphere. But they have to charge extra to keep that place looking nice. I will never go back to Aspen Dental.
Tech Ashley was very nice, when I was taken directly to the xray areas.. created an exceptional xrayprofile even though the machine was acting up.. wonderful technology issues and not the Techs Problem..All activity I was having was recorded in file.. Doctor came in and did a full examination, then explained my options in great detail, answered several questions right away with clear and truthful answers.. examined mouth fully making sure he covered all spots of concern.. then we got started immediately with teeth impressions .. I have multiple additional appointments that were set up for as soon as possible. I go back in tomorrow to do some more setting up, so we can get started on my long journey.. then just 1 week later my surgery is expected.. thats it for now.. will update hopefully as we travel the path to a much better smile.. 😀😊😉
This will be the ONLY dentist I ever go to from now on. I’ve never felt more welcome and just understood as a patient. Not once was I judged for the bad luck I’ve had with my teeth or the procedures I need done. I couldn’t believe it and I am BLOWN AWAY, still almost a week later. I’m beyond excited to go back and to just see the staff again. Nicole took my X-rays and talked me through everything, while explaining things to me in terms I could ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND!! The staff and doctor here are the BEST around!! You will NEVER be disappointed coming here!!
I am so sorry I ever started treatment with this place. They do painful procedures for which they prescribe a few pills the day of surgery, then tell their patients to let the office know if more meds are needed. When this happens, they say they cant prescribe anymore meds, and to take a higher dose of an over the counter pain reliever and rotate it with one or two other OTC meds. When told that really doesnt work, and remind them that they said to call if more prescription meds are needed, they just say theyre sorry but thats all they can do. When my mother had surgery to remove teeth to fit a new partial, she wasnt prescribed anything for pain and was told it was because of her age, and she suffered for several days with little to no relief. They wouldnt listen to anything I said as far as the amount of pain she was in and their attitude was dismissive and cruel. I had talked my mother into going to Aspen and this was the result. If you go there, be aware that you will be dismissed and treated like a common addict if your pain doesnt go away after you finish the few pills theyre willing to prescribe on the day of your procedure. They push their patients to give them positive reviews online to fill their chairs and make them more money, yet they could not care less about the people who become patients. I really wish I had known that Aspen Dentals primary objective is greed, pure and simple, and the patients needs are of no concern or importance.
Very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the staff. Everything was explained in detail and the doctor made sure I understood everything before I left. The staff there made me feel at home and most of all I was very comfortable and it eased my anxiety about going there. They did a very thorough exam and best of all the hygienist did not hurt me when she cleaned my teeth! Great job Aspen Dental.
Made appointment for husband to hopefully have broken tooth pulled. When I called for appointment was told it would be initial appointment, with follow-up for extraction. The technicians were great, made him feel comfortable. Dentist comes in, & informed him that he didnt extract teeth, would have to refer to someone else. Why did staff tell me numerous times that follow-up appointment would be for extraction? They should never say that an extraction can be done at 2nd appointment. Worst of all, there was NO spit basin in room. If there was an extraction, where are you to rinse & spit? Received copy of x-rays and will make my own appointment with dentist to get tooth extracted. Feel it was a waste of 50 mile drive and time. Do not recommend Aspen Dental, talked to several people in area that have been there & had same horrible experience.
I have gotten dentures made theough the years at different places and Aspen Dental dentures are the worst I have ever had made.I got the more expensive plates at Aspen. When I got them and the top plate did not fit right, instead of making corrct plates they heated them, put them in my mouth and pushed down till they fit. Bottom plate is is horrible where teeth are lean out like buck teeth. Went back a couple times to get corrected and nothing done to resolve. Ya I can go back to get a relign but why when they sont even fit, can’t shew with front teeth and have to use ton of adhesive to keep them in. Worst dentures ever!
Went in for some emergency work that needed done and all the staff were extremely helpful and really cared about all the pain I was in. The staff took the time to listen to me and comfort me. Feeling much better now that the Doctor took time to make the pain go away!! Hands down the best staff is at Aspen.
Upon entering for my first visit, everyone was professional and courteous. They took care of what needed immediate attention in my mouth the same day of my first visit. I was treated so well and given great explanations for what was going on. I will Aspen Dental from now on and will be bringing my family!
Yesterday I had teeth extracted for an upper denture. Dr. Jalil and Nicole did the procedure and were totally awesome. Prior to the procedure they went into detail on what would take place and were very encouraging and as well as professional and courteous during the process. They took the time to answer any questions I had and made sure I was comfortable through out the procedure. Today I am in no pain and my healing denture is a perfect fit. I was nervous about having it done but I feel blessed to have the very caring people at Aspen Dental Peru as my dental professionals.
Everytime I come here I have a good experience. I hate going to the dentist but the employees all make me feel at ease. They work with you on payments, the dentist and hygienist take the time to explain things to you. I would for sure recommend this place to friends and family
The wait time was kind of long. The staff was nice. The dentist was very gentle and made sure I was comfortable through my extraction. I feel like I was overcharged for the extraction, it seemed rather simple to me and did not take too long, yet they charged me for the more expensive surgical extraction. I do not recall having any surgery done while there...
I have been going through the process of a new me, I have the temporary dentures in for the last 6 months, I haven’t said anything about them because I know they’re temporary, but I’m scared to death the permanent dentures will look like the temporary ones, which I don not like, it’s not me, I hardly smile anymore, I hardly talk anymore because it always sounds like I have a mouth full of peanut butter, and I cannot say my S’s I have become very depressed and I really hope that it’ll be better that what I’m dealing with now. I’m going on vacation September 5th and I really hope I can have my permanent dentures before then, I haven’t been eat a proper meal in 6months.... but all in all I world recommend Aspen Dental
I had a great experience at this dental office. The staff was very friendly and professional. I felt like I wasn’t rushed through my exam like I’ve been at other dentist offices. I received a thorough description of what I needed work done on and what my options were. I will definitely continue to come back here.
The dentist here is fine. He seems to care and does pretty good work. The office staff seems to have no idea what is going on. I paid my bill in full during visits based on the summary they gave me. Nothing changed from the original treatment plan. One month after I finished the work that needed done I got another bill for $580 dollars. I called the office and was told someone would get back to me. No one ever called me back. A month later I got another bill for $690. This time I went into the office. They stated that had not estimated correctly because extra services were added. If I had known the real cost, I would have waited for my insurance to roll over again (we were close enough). I never added anything extra and the plan was the same as the original they gave me. They also tried to charge me my deductible twice. They sent me to another office to see an oral surgeon (I needed an implant due to a cavity under a crown) and I waited 3 hours there to see him. I had to have an extraction to have the implant and I asked the Peru office three times if they could do it the same day. I asked once while having a filling and I called back twice. They told me absolutely not. When I saw the surgeon he told me if he’d know he’d have done it that day but he didn’t have the implant ordered. The Peru office never checked with him. After seeing the oral surgeon the staff at the other office told me they originally told the Peru office not to send me that they didn’t have an opening but the Peru office waited til they closed and sent an email saying I was coming first thing next morning. There are so many headaches when dealing with this office. My frustration with this office has been through the roof and the bills just keep coming even after I was told I had paid in full. Seems like bait and switch.
This company needs to be shut down! They play nice and concerning at first and then after your exam they begin to belittle you about even the most minor dental issues.I did not grow up privileged, I dont have a college education, and at the time I went in, I was working a retail job for $10 an hour, 22 hours a week. I havent had the luxury of dental care.I went in for a simple wisdom tooth extraction and before I knew it they were trying to bully me into getting procedures that I didnt even need and tried to harass me into giving them a $5000 advance on the dental, which include extracting eight teeth and they insisted I be fitted for dentures. When I expressed how rediculious it all was, the manager I spoke with kept making rude comments about my situation. Like; May be you should take better care of your teeth; youre the one who made bad dental decisions; well, dont work low paying jobs and you wont have these issues.I left angry and in tears. Not only did I leave still with a broken tooth causing me extreme pain, but I felt like I was the most worthless piece of garbage that ever walked the planet.I went to another dentist and showed him the paperwork they gave me that list all the procedures I supposedly needed. He said the only thing on the list that was valid were wisdom teeth extractions, and filling three cavities, and said he found no reason why they would insist that I need eight back teeth pulled, and that my teeth were healthy otherwise. If you want to go here, Google them first. This chain has had at least 11 lawsuits that span the country for similar issues that I have described.BE WARNED!!! THESE PEOPLE WILL DECEIVE YOU!!!
I just had my hard reline done on thurs. I can say it’s been a long 6 month road of healing. The soft relines helped a lot as I continued to be able to try and eat different foods. Well now I can eat pretty much anything with my permanents. I think they have done a fantastic job for me throughout my whole experience. I love my finished product and they are so smooth and finished off that I doubt I’ll need adjustments. All in all I’d say aspen dental has been amazing and the staff was always courteous and helpful and informative. I’m thankful they gave me my smile back
I will like to say I had a great experience with aspen Dental I will like to thank the staff that help me get the treatment that I needed so with that being said thank you Melissa Alexa and Dr.Xue for all your help to keep me on the right path to a Brighter Smile I recommend the Aspen Dental team in peru ILLINOIS
I loved the commercials from Aspen Dental enough to check them out. When I went, all staff were of the greatest customer service. I was ushered in on time, had everything thoroughly explained, and appropriate treatment rendered. Than my future plan was explained to me, along with pricing.I would highly recommend Aspen Dental of Peru, IL and its very professional team.Scott Fulkerson, client
My other dentist doesn’t except my dental insurance so I’m looking for a new one. I decide on Aspen dental and made an appointment. They did xrays and then told me basically I needed a root canal and deep cleaning a total $1,500 worth of work on my first visit. So I sat down with a lady that works there she asks me if I wanted to do a payment plan and I said yes. So I assumed making payments to pay for my services I needed. She didn’t tell me she was applying for care credit and didn’t ask my permission to do so. She only said she was seeing if I qualify for payments. I felt like they did not care about my dental hygiene and care about money more. Not to mention I have needed a few small fillings for a year and they said I didn’t. All of sudden my cavities disappeared too probably so I can’t for a root canal in the future. I found a different dentist I’ll be going to instead. I don’t like the office it wasn’t comfortable and family friendly. It’s all about money there. Never experienced it in my entire life. Usually dentist office work with their patients on payments but not aspen because they’re more about money.
Good visit at Peru Illinois office. Staff is extremely kind and helpful. The hygienist that I had was very quick but thorough...she was just really good at her job. The young girl who did my xrays was very sweet. They took bite wing and the machine you stand up in (dont know what thats called). Dr. Jalil was also wonderful. My only negative about the visit was the financial. I was only given the option to pay up front for my procedures rather than pay for each visit as I go. $2600 just wasnt affordable all at once for me. Paying for each visit could have worked better. They also push the Care Credit to give you the option of payments...used that before. Extremely high interest...EXTREMELY. Its a shame cause it was all great until the end of my visit there.
Ill give the office staff one star. I cant give the dentist even one star. Horrible Experience!! They chipped my tooth, broke a tooth installing a crown, and did the worst filling that Ive ever had in my life! I spent all of the money my insurance gave me for the year. And a couple of thousand out of my pocket. Ive had to wait a year to get repaired what they damaged. Go to a Real dental office if you have major stuff to do. Mind you, now I have to have a root canal on the tooth with the crown that they installed. I have to have that filling done again, my chipped tooth that they caused and the tooth they broke repaired. The funny thing about this place is that I had given my review right after all of this happened and it never appeared on this page. Well see if this one makes it.
The 3D imaging was interesting, the hygienist was nice, but it felt impersonal and as if I was getting a sales pitch most of the time. I was brought into a room after imaging and given papers showing my care plan which included services I didnt have any interest in while I listened to the staff gossip outside the room. My appointment didnt even include a cleaning, and I thought thats what I was there for. I had to ask afterwards if I could get a cleaning.
Daughter had a cracked molar tooth. Called them to be seen. They wanted to charge $300 for x-rays and then were going to prescribe my 7 year old pain medication. They said they wouldnt do the extraction until a different day because they were so busy. Their office was EMPTY.Their parking lot had one car, mine. Yet they were too busy to do anything at 8am. They said they could refer me to a partner pediatric dentist that might help but Id need all the x-rays done again. Keep in mind I am a cash payer because we dont have dental insurance.Called around and ended up driving to Artic Dental in Muscatine that took care of us right away and used laughing gas for the pain then extracted the tooth after a quick x-ray. Took it apart in pieces and the dentist said I made the right choice he had to gently pry a couple pieces that were broken around the new adult tooth that had pushed this baby tooth forward and cracked it.Nothing will make me take my children back to these money hungry sloths that could not care less about their patients.
I went to Aspen Dental in Peru, IL when I decided to finally fix my smile for my Wedding. I was always sensitive about my dental issues, and was very anxious about my first appointment. The staff is was amazing though. They are professionals, and they met my conerns with compassion and attentiveness. The dentist, Dr. Jalil, is extremely gentle. Hes a great dentist, and I have met a lot of dentists. The girls that work there are all so friendly and are great their jobs as well. Im happy I found the courage to finally do something about my teeth. I have a beautiful smile now. Its a smile Im confident about.
Ive been to other dentists and this was my first time going here. It was absolutely great, the staff were pleasant and polite. Dentist are usually nerve racking and embarrassing but I didnt feel that way at all. I really enjoyed my visit there i wasnt pressured into anything what so ever. The estimates were very straightforward and to the point.
I am one of those people who havent been to the dentist in years...It was with our daughters recommendation that I go to that office...She was correct...They were very efficient, professional, and friendly...I did not feel embarrassed, or uncomfortable...Everyone was great.. Dr. Xue, Sara, Melissa, and Jordan
I was told in order to see the oral surgeon to have one wisdom tooth removed I needed to meet first and have x-rays done. Even though I had them done with my regular dentist. The office was clean staff nice but and hour and half later I was given a bill for more dental procedures than I even came into and the the only way I could schedule an appointment was to pay half of my out of pocket cost now. Needless to say I left without and appointment to get my broken too the removed and feeling like I was being swindled. Please do not waste your time wi th them if you just want a consult.
Paid a lot of money for a deep cleaning that never happened after I already told them medical stuff. The paper they sent to my doctor didnt explain anything and so it was denied for me to come off my thinners, I called them and told them days prior to my appointment and they said they would still do it without having to come off thinner, went to the appointment, they then told me they could not do anything. They saw my child, sent him off to someone else. My husband was there too, paid a lot for his deep cleaning and his teeth are not clean. He called to cancel his next appointment, they asked if he wanted to reshedule, he said no and then they just hung up, he wasnt even done talking to them. This place is a get as many in and out as possible.
From start to finish my experience with Aspen Dental in Peru Illinois was fabulous! From the initial exam to leaving with a new smile, everyone was so positive and kind! I especially want to thank Katie in the lab because you dont get to see or interact with the lab, but it was as if she knew what my original teeth looked liked before i began loosing them! I am 57 years old and my new denture looks like my 20 year old teeth! Thank you so much, all of you! I can start my new job Tues with great confidence! New job, New smile! Thank you!
I am not a fan of doctor or dental offices, but I was in A LOT of pain and needed it taken care of!! My first visit was GREAT! Everyone was soo caring and understanding that I was in a lot of pain (I was pretty crabby!) and it put me at ease since I dont like being at the dentist! They ended up getting me in the next day to get me out of pain, which I wasnt expecting, but I was soo thankful! Everyone was soo great and I definitely refer my friends and family there when they say they are in pain or whatnot. Great Job everyone!!
Everyone very friendly and helpful. Promotion for exam and x-rays a little deceptive advertised for $19.99. I brought my granddaughter in thinking I’d get promotion. Over the phone they didn’t bother tell me I wouldn’t get that price because patient must 21 or older knowing my she was only 7 and we have no dental insurance. So visit costed over $350.00 !! OUCH!!!
Everything went well and as expected up until the point when the hygienist said it was time for my cancer screening but she was out of the kits. Now I had already paid for the screening. You pay prior to your treatment. So I have to go back again for the screening. This is not the first time they have had a similar problem. If I ran my classroom like they run their business I would not have been a teacher for very long.
Worst dentist ever Do not go here!Going for a general cleaning and was told I have a small cavity. I schedule appointment do you have small cavity fixed. After fixing cavity I now have so much tooth pain that I now need a root canal. Never had pain before going to this place.
The facility was very clean, the employees were very nice, and they were able to help me with everything I went in for. If you have any questions about anything, they have an HR lady who is VERY friendly and will help you with billing more than any other dentist Ive gone to.
I really love the people who work there but the last time I went, I had an app. To get my teeth cleaned. Well, without knowing that it was going to cost me extra, they did xrays (which is unnecessary because I had xrays 1 year ago for fillings). Then they examined my mouth and said that they were done. I said, i am here to get my teeth cleaned. They claimed they cannot clean my teeth because i need a treatment done for gingivitis, which i dont have because i got a second opinion, which was going to cost me 678.00 and I dont have insurance and they dont take payments. Long story short. I walked out with a $100.00 bill for an xray and did not get my teeth cleaned. Also, i asked him to file a tiny chip in my tooth and he said he would rather fill it. I feel like aspen is all about the money..
My experience with Aspen Dental began in Ames, Iowa when my dentures broke into pieces and I was to leave the following day for a trip to Pennsylvania. I went to local office and they did everything they could do to reassure me that they would take care of everything and set me up with an office in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania ready and waiting for when I arrived 2 days later. The Cranberry office was waiting for me and assured me that they would have dentures ready for me in 2 days before I was to go on to Virginia for grandsons wedding. Well, me of little faith was thinking - I dont think so - but true to their word, they had my dentures ready. I cant say enough how kind and caring everyone was and shared my joy that everything went just as planned and I got to smile, smile and smile at the wedding for pictures galore.I am so thankful for how they put me first in getting me on my way for my trip and all the wishes I had from the Pennsylvania office from caring staff to see that I was happy. What a joy!!!!!!Heres smiling at you,Carol GardnerAmes, Iowa
I broke one of my wisdom teeth. I got in to see the dentist that day and had setup up the appointment to get all my wisdom teeth extracted very quick and great service. The dentist and the assistant where very professional and I will be bringing my family to them from now on
Reviewing: Aspen Dental in Peru, IL (July 2019)All personnel are clearly attuned to customer service and satisfaction--friendly, patient, and professional. Dental staff, including hygienist, assistants, and the DDS are all warmly professional and informative about any aspect of treatment or care that a dental patient may have, and will explain thoroughly what expectations should be for every procedure and treatment.I was given the unpleasant news that it was not going to be possible to repair or replace my 15+ year-old lower molars bridge, which would now require either extraction of damaged/missing teeth followed by dental implants (a cost-prohibitive option for many, including me) or a partial denture, which I opted for at about 10 percent of the cost of implants (but still roughly between $1500 and $2000 including the necessary extractions.I appreciated the careful, rather detailed estimates of costs, as well as the offer of affordable financing.Overall a more transparent process than Ive been accustomed to in the past with other dental offices. Thus far in the process (now with a temporary plate while I adapt to the new device--a permanent plate will be provided in about six months) I am undergoing the sometimes annoyingly painful and difficult process of adjusting to a device that must be worn over sore gums and recent extraction site--but thats just the reality of dental prosthetic devices such as dentures. It can be quite uncomfortable at first, but it will get better.I believe it makes sense to do some research on the subject of dentures and partial dentures before going ahead with the process.I rate Aspen Dental a well-deserved A.Five Stars indeed.
Aspen Dental uploaded my contact information (as a client) to their Facebook Ads contact list. So Im pretty irritated about that. But even ignoring that, it took them over a year to resolve a billing issue with my private insurance company, in which time my overdue bill got sent to collections.
Went in to have teeth worked on and maximize insurance benefits. They ran up the bill it was 750 out of pocket. Turns out none of that was needed for to maximize insurance it was add ons and unnecessary charges. They took advantage of me not explaining any of what was being charged. The actual dental work was covered by insurance. I do not recommended. However they were very polite.
They were very friendly and gave me information on procedures and went over how much I would have to pay out of pocket. They were friendly. Just wish it didnt have to be so many different appointments for the same thing just different section of your teeth. At my old doctors they did everything same day.
When I first came to Aspen I was very nervous. I have had several bad dental experiences. The staff are all very friendly. Dr. Chiang is by far the best dentist I have met. He put my mind to rest. He did crowns on my front teeth and I can finally smile. Family and friends wondered what was different about me and then they realized I was smiling. I have not smiled a true smile in 20 years. Thank you Aspen for giving me my life back!!
The girl at the front desk was really nice but the dentist I seen was an azz, yes Totally butt. He was rude and told me he couldnt fill my tooth, and said he wouldnt do it, I needed a crown. I dont get upset very easily but this one took the cake. I WILL NEVER GO BACK OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO THIS PLACE!! Dentist was a jerk!!!!!!!!!!!!I left and went to the next town, I was a walk in the dentist there filled my tooth same day and he said it would of been a mistake to crown my Front tooth.
Wife lost a crown that was only about 3 years old. Aspen Dentist said she needed a new crown and an estimate of $1900. They refused to do any sort of temporary fix to alleviate her pain until we agreed to the full treatment and amount of $1900. We walked and went to an HONEST Dentist that cemented her existing crown in place and said there was really no need for a new one. RUN...dont walk away from Aspen shysters. They are willing to perform unnecessary procedures to take your money and charge about double the going rate. Shop around if possible.
Very nice staff but I am really sick of being told one thing by people on the phone and then another at the office. I also feel that having to make multiple trips to get more than one filling done is ridiculous. They keep scheduling me for one or two at a time and my time is being wasted when I could get them all at once.
This is a HORRIBLE place to go for ALL and ANY dental care. I will NEVER go here again, this place SUCKS!!! They have a tendency of giving you the run around for your money. The dentist is a very rude jerk and the HALF ASS services was a DAM JOKE!!!. I will not recommend this SCUM to anyone under no CIRCUMSTANCE. With ALL the BAD SERVICES and EXPERIENCES that I have encountered I give this LAME ASS place THUMBS DOWN!!!!! I found another GREAT DENTIST who actually cares about their patients with EXTRAORDINARY SERVICES AND WILL BE MAKING THOSE CALLS ABOUT HOW GREAT THEY ARE!!!!
I can not say enough about aspen dental service....the people were great...caring...and answer any questions I had...when i had my work done on my top teeth...they were gentle n very caring ....the office people took care of calling my insurance n getting everything set up for me.....I will b going back in a couple months for my bottoms... I have had 2 freinds go there after me and they were happy to...thank you aspen dental...for eveything
My last visit was terrible dental assistant was very rude to me.I dont appreciate it .I think she was mad cause she had to keep going back to grind on my temporary teeth.but if I have the same girl again I would be very upset she was darn ride.I asked her to give me my teeth Ill make my own appointment she no I have to do it.then dentist came in said is there a problem I said yes your assistant is very rude to me
Wow, no cleanin on first visit, but heres a bill for 3k+ for what ya need done, o and while i was opening up a credit care card for ya cause thats what they really meant when saying let see what some payment options could be, i ran your credit...i knew something was off when the dr walked in with someone who was not a dental assistant but an office manager..... the hygienist left me saying that she was gonna do some treatmentsafter all she did was measure my gums, seem like she was implying that was happening at that time, she left to go talk to dr, then thats when the dr and office manager came in to see me.....was hard enough to find the time to make it to a dentist, only to realise i have to find another opinion.....
These people are amazing. Way beyond there ways to bring you the Best Customer service there is. Thank you to all the Girls that work there you do amazing work. Also to the head doctor you are very easy to get along with and do everything spot on. I will always recommend people to come to your office! Thanks again for everything you have done for me!😁😁

2022-03-18Where do I start? Three years ago I purchased new dentures. Year 1 bottoms snapped in half. Fixed free. Year 2 bottoms snapped in half (COVID year) fixed again. Year 3 yep snapped again. Time to make appointment with Dr. this is not right. Still under warranty so will replace at no cost. GREAT!!! First photo is what I got. Second photo is comparing to what I had. Ten (10) visits later and third picture is what I ended up with. Implants were mentioned 3 times because I don’t have much of a ridge because of oral surgery years ago(at a cost of at least 4K) have worn dentures for 40 years. I am76 years old on SS. No way that is going to happen. All the staff were great except for the lab tech who definitely did not graduate at the top of class. After the first set I said she should be fired. Really look at those thinks. They have me convinced they want to sell me implants instead of replacing. Have to make money some how. I am now wearing a set I got from Affordable Dentures 6 years ago which I can at least wear and eat with. No way would I ever recommend Aspen Dental in Peru il for dentures. After 15 visits for adjustment I am still unable to eat with them. Have resigned to using old set from Affordable Dentures. Done Done Done with Aspen Dental.

2022-03-30Best experience ever. Went online and got appointment the next day!! Appointment was for clearance for surgery. I got X rays, saw dentist, I needed treatment for gingivitis which hygienist was able to do the same day, scheduled second treatment and was on my way. Whole staff was exceptional! I’ve already recommended friends and family.

2022-03-27I was iffy on going to Aspen Dental due to the bad reviews. Now I wish I went sooner. The staff, nurses, and doctor were all super friendly. I have really bad teeth and was super embarrassed for them to see it. Everyone was respectful and didnt make a big deal about it. Unfortunately what I need to have done is on the pricey side so Im worried about that. But the person who helped me figure out my options was super nice. Im feeling more relaxed about going back for the next procedure! I would recommend them to anyone!

2022-05-20I was amazed at all of the technology and how quickly and efficiently everyone was from X-rays, to scanning, to Dr visit and ending with hygienist. They were all friendly and amazing. I already scheduled for my next cleaning in 6 months. I highly recommend them! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2022-03-22This place is VERY shady and dishonest.. said I had two cavities, gum disease and several other issues. They pulled me in an office to discuss financing options and I ended up getting my wife out of the car because I felt like we were on the road to a pretty large financial endeavor.. I mean, it’s not like we were purchasing a car- but somehow it felt that way.My wife started picking apart the estimated charges and found out that they had added many things that weren’t needed such as a VERY expensive electric toothbrush. We ended up opting to have them extract a tooth rather than paying the $6000 for the root canal. They made me pay for all the dental work upfront after trying to convince me to finance over $6000 for a root canal. We somehow ended up still being charged over $1200 to have a tooth pulled.I ended up going to another dentist because there were some major red flags with this place and at the other dentists office- they said I had NO cavities! When I tried to call Aspen to get a refund for the extra money that I paid for the treatment of the two cavities (that I didn’t have)- it was a huge fight and I never did get the full refund. My insurance shows that I should be paying way less out-of-pocket than what they charged me. I tried to speak to a manager about it and was given the runaround. When I finally spoke to someone about it and told them about the two cavities that did not exist, they had nothing to say about it. Watch this place- they are very dishonest and corrupt.

2021-11-25They are just the nicest staff. They are fun, professional, and always make the uncomfortable situations more comfortable. I recently got dentures which means that I have had 10+ appointments in 6 months. They are always so pleasant. They are genuinely nice and not canned. Appointments are flexible.CORPORATE SHOULD CLOSE THE OFFICE AT 12pm THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING.(Most DR offices do)

2021-12-11Check in was super easy, x-rays went fine, they identified the problem right away. We set up an appointment the next day for cleaning and extraction of 1 tooth. My blood pressure was too high, so they wouldnt pull it. If it wasnt for them, I wouldnt have known how high it was. Ashton, and Shelby were wonderful. Sara was able to find a new appointment that worked with my schedule so I wouldnt have to take another day off. Would definitely recommend them.

2021-12-09This place is awful! The staff are super friendly, I’ll give them that, the rest of my experience, not so great.I went in to have an emergency repair done to my front tooth. They took X-rays, had the hygienist do her thing, then the dentist came in for all of 2 minutes. After they looked me over they said okay, now head to the financial office. In this office they listed 16-18 things that needed to be done BEFORE they would fix my front tooth (this was also the first time I heard about this extensive list of things the dentist said needed addressed). No exceptions. Of course the dentist was long gone at this point to even discuss the things he “found wrong” with my mouth. The financial woman also just pushed the Care Credit card which has terrible percentage rates. She tried to run my credit before I even agreed. She said I’d have to pay up front for all of the work I needed done or they wouldn’t do anything to help my tooth. After all this I left and never looked back. What a scam!
