Aspen Dental in other cities:
Horrible customer service. Was calling to set up new patient visit. When I told that to the lady that answered she said uhm okay please hold. I held on hold for four minutes, phone started ringing , someone picked the line up then put me back on hold without saying anything. Hung up and called back and now no one answers and the hold recording just says someone will be with you in less than a minute but it’s been three and still holding. Guess this is my sign to try an office that actually wants customers.
Worst service. They asked to move my sons appointment to 4 pm today from 2:45 pm. We showed up at 3:45 pm checked in. Waited in the waiting room until finally getting taken back to an exam room at 4:15 pm. We sat in the exam room with no explanation until 5 pm. When I asked what the situation was they just said they were running behind. When asked to reschedule they were unable to get us in until 8/16. Would not recommend wasting your time.
I have to say, recovering from 5 tooth extractions (4 being wisdom teeth) does not hurt nearly as much as it did the 2 months I was putting it off with a broken tooth and 2 major cavities because of my anxiety towards the dentist. Plus I think my fear of the dentist is gone! Everyone at aspen dental has been so kind to me and made me feel so much at ease, from my first appointment on.They did recommend doing a gingivitis cleaning and to use special toothpaste and after 15 years of my gums bleeding every time I brushed my teeth, they are no longer bleeding! I used to use chewing tobacco (quit in 2020) and every other dentist shamed me and made me really anxious and uncomfortable. No one at aspen dental ever tried to shame me. They just try to help as much as they can. They even let me get my wisdom teeth taken out with a local to save me money so I didnt have to go to an oral surgeon.I think the prices are fair as well. Less than some dentists I have looked into - Yeah, maybe a little more than some, but you get what you pay for. I think their prices are fair and middle of the road. Yeah dental work is expensive out of pocket and most insurances cover little to nothing but thats not the dentist offices fault. Write your congresspeople if you want changes to pricing and dental insurance.Overall, 10/10 would recommend for dental work and regular cleanings.
Went in for a filling that fell out of bottom molar. Was told on the phone being seen by the dentist would be $19 & since I dont have dental insurance it would be around $165 to have the filling replaced and slightly more if the tooth needed to be pulled. When I arrived they took clearly more x-rays that needed to be taken (my entire mouth). When I finally saw the dentist, she indicated I needed all of my top teeth pulled and dentures and all but 6 front bottom teeth pulled and a partial denture. They had a treatment plan totalling almost $8,000. They then sent me to the financial lady that had a loan brochure already laid out front and center. I indicated I just wanted the tooth fixed that was causing me the problem. The financial lady said she would have to have the approval of the dentist to schedule that since I wasnt on board with the treatment plan they suggested. I was scheduled to have the tooth pulled 2 days later and my bill was over $300. Although I dont have perfect teeth, I am 50 yrs old and dont feel I need dentures at this time. I brush my teeth twice a day and get compliments on my teeth often. I truly felt like I was taken advantage of and thank God I have enough sense to say no to what the dentist suggested. So, take it from me, dont always follow doctors orders!!
2.5 stars. I rescheduled an appointment to get a different dentist (insurance reasons), only to have that same first dentist see me. The first dentist ended up being in network with my insurance, but Aspen messed that up.They also try to sell you lots of things. I was given a non-descriptive bill and thought I was just paying for a procedure, but i was actually paying for special toothpaste, mouthwash, and a $135 electric toothbrush additionally. Later, I saw a second detailed bill that spelled everything out, it was underneath the first non-descriptive bill. I think they should have verbally told me what I was paying for or at least given me the detailed bill on top where I could see it. I was able to return the toothbrush, though. However, all the doctors and hygienists and techs were really nice, and I’m continuing to go back. I’m not dissatisfied with the dental work they do.
This was my first time going to Aspen Dental and everyone from the receptionists to the doctor were great! Bria my dental hygienist was THE BEST! She made sure I was comfortable and understood everything that was going on. She also didn’t make me feel bad about anything. Sometimes dentist offices aren’t great at communicating things to you but this was nothing like that. Thank you everyone at Aspen that made my first experience so great! I will continue my dental care needs with this amazing staff at Aspen Dental in Bloomington IL ☺️
I love Aspen dental, my dentist seems more like a friend. Concerned about what is going on with my issues concerning my dental health. One thing I dont like is the turnover rate, it seems to be happening alot, trainees should have experienced staff with them to help guide them. Just getting x-rays of my mouth was the most painful experience that I have ever had, but we got thru it. Its not enough to make me stop going. Just hope they can add on more staff to help. I know we are in tough times. Thats why Im sticking with my dentist. Thanks. Nope done with Aspen dental. Still love the dentist, but some staff are very unprofessional, impatient and undertrained. Looking for a new dentist in area
Love my experiences at Aspen Dental so far. The staff is fantastic & my doctor is so perfect for me. Very knowledgeable, calm & explains everything that will be happening in the future & what to expect. Only one thing I believe they need for people like me is gas!! Will let you know what happens after next Monday when my teeth are removed!!
I went in for a toothache. Aspen Dental refused to take out the tooth. They wouldnt take care of my pain until I put down $3200. for dentures. Then they wanted to schedule ALL but 6 teeth were to be removed.I went to two different dentists to be told I honestly DO NOT need all my teeth pulled.I insisted a refund .They did give me MOST of the money back
Worst place EVER!!!! Aspen has billed me when they shouldnt have. They even had me pay 110.00 dollars for a day I wasnt even there! The dentist screwed up my crown so now I have to have it all redone! There was 510.00 dollars they didnt submit to my insurance company! Id say this is a lawsuit and Im most definitely pushing for that! Since January 1st I should of only had to pay 802.00 dollars out of pocket which Ive paid 1,515.00 out of pocket. Seriously worst dentist place you could ever possibly go to.
I LOVED going here!! The doctors are great and the dental assistants are so amazing!!! I’ve had to go there multiple times for work and Nick, Jess, and Zach continuous helped me in the most professional and relaxed way! I will definitely be making this my go-to dental office!
Way too pushy, didn’t care about problem tooth, more interested in adding up costs for rest of mouth that wasnt of concern. Took over 2 hours to send prescription to pharmacy and when called about an eta, they said they were busy and would call at their convenience. Everyone in office was rude except X-ray tech and front desk clerk. Don’t go to this place if your in pin and expecting prompt service because you won’t get it.
Don’t ever ever ever go here! I went in for a first appointment they made me do X-rays over and over didn’t do anything for my mouth or the problem they were to busy trying to discuss a payment plan. Asked me if I wanted to wait 45 mins extra for a cleaning and I left. The second time around the dental hygienist was cleaning my teeth then a co worker asked to see her and I heard them in the other room talking about their weekend instead of finish my cleaning she was in other room for 20 mins. She was very rough and unconcerned about her patient. The third and final visit I had enough especially cause I went in for a fill and without my consent had someone “practice” on my mouth. I left shaken it was a nightmare. I will definitely be telling people about them and a joke of a practice they are. Here’s the kicker they sent me a bill and my insurance has a claim with them have they answered anything no..do they expect a payment from me yes lol.
I was very happy with my experience at Aspen Dental in Bloomington! The facility was very clean, the technology was state of the art and ALL the employees were wonderful! I definitely would recommend, Dr. Rai was very honest about best treatment plan and cost factors for each plan as well as compassionate about my care.
You dont have to worry about serving me in the future, I wont be back. Also have talked to my family and friends. You wont see them in the future. Had my tooth drilled down for a cap after a root canal. My gum was injured, had a deep cut above the tooth. I knew something happened when they stopped drilling and the assistant blasted me with water and suction. They started to drill again. The assistant said, is that one holding together, meaning the drill. They did a scan when they were done, it was bloody in the area that was injured. The Doctor stood there and said, I wander what that is. They finished the work and the assistant put gause in my mouth and said it would stop the bleeding. After around 10 days it was swollen up like a grape and hurt up under my eye. I called the office and they refused to see me. A few days latter I called and changed my appointment and they said I could come in and get it checked on the day of my old appointment. I had to get medical attention myself so ended up not needing that appointment. I finally went in to get my cap and asked about the injury to my gum. The Doctor said, oh that didnt happen and that was her answer. My answer to that is we are all only humand and we have axidents and make mistakes, but most of us dont look a person in the face and lie about it. Some truth and some advice on how to take care of it would have been helpful. Most professional people dont lie to their patients. A professional lie detector test would be great for everyone involved including myself. To anyone that reads this, dont send your children there, dont send your elderly parents there. Read every review you can including the better business bureau. Be careful, dont be trusting. Also, I was told I had to pay for this in full before I got the cap. That is what I did, I paid exactly what they asked for, but according to the reviews, they continue to bill people after they pay everything in full. Im concerned about this and probably wont get to write another review so here it is.
I had a very positive experience at Aspen Dental in Bloomington, IL. Dr. Rai and Dental assistant Nick treated me with respect and compassion and were very professional in everything they did for me. They made a very stressful situation easier to bear. I feel that I have received the very best of care from Dr. Rai and Nick and I highly recommend this facility for dental care.
I had the best experience of my life. When I walked into Aspen Dental I felt so amazing when I saw all the smiling faces. Dr. Rai is awesome. Dentist Assistance Claire was so helpful. Hygienist Libby was so amazing she made me felt so comfortable And Bria was awesome. And Ashley so amazing. Everyone was all smiles from the time I walked in and very friendly. Thanks Guys
I want to thank ALL professionals for caring about the bottom dollar over health. makes me furious. had an appointment yesterday at Aspen dental, they called 2 hours before my 1st appointment and said I would owe $18.00 ,then asked how I was going to pay. I cancelled the appointment
My experience: Greetings from everyone when you first came in were awesome. Smiles, friendly, informative and very polite. Really made you feel welcome. Which means everything to a new person walking through the door. After all, word of mouth is the best advertisement. So with that being said. The Tech (or person who called my name) took me back to a room to wait for the dentist. She was very rude and cold (I thought). Dont know if she was having a bad day or just her nature. No smile, acted like I was wasting her time (in a rush). Not gentle enough taking impressions for new dentures ( I felt). Even though I told her while she was pushing down it hurt, something was poking down into my bottom gum. She did not care. She pushed harder and said very few words to me. (Just move your jaw from side to side.) She did not take the time to move my lip out all the way before putting the tray into my mouth and pinched my lip. Like it was a big inconvenience to her (I felt). I use to be a Dental Assistant my self I know my experience with this young lady could have been pleasant. The dentist her self. Excellent. Smiles, warm welcoming, took her time with you, asked if you had any questions that she did not cover, very informative, warm and inviting, pleasant vibes came from her. The young lady that came in at the end to talk about what dentures I wanted and the cost was very pleasant. Smiles, kind and informative.
Would highly recommend Aspen dental to anyone, everyone was so kind and they were very informative about what they were doing before they did it. And I could actually understand what the doctor was telling me. Look forward to my next visit with them, thank you Aspen dental for everything.
I am not a good patient when it comes to going to the dentist. This was my first visit to Aspen Dental. Everyone was great! Have a hard time putting into words exactly how well this went. I have had a lot of dental work done, and have a lot of fear, but my experience at Aspen made me wish I had gone there long ago. All the woman were great to talk to, listened well, the technology there is nothing like I had experienced before. The cost of my first visit very grateful for all they did. Amazing!
I have PTSD from previous dental visits so I was terrified of going to the dentist. The entire Aspen Dental team made me feel comfortable and this was the first visit in a long time that didn’t end with me in tears. I’m so glad I found Aspen Dental so I can finally get the dental work done.
Front desk clerk, Ivy is so incredibly helpful beyond what was expected. xray technician was also incredibly comforting and supportive while I was afraid and anxious.Company as a whole/doctor could use some finessing, as far as treating for the specific problems people are coming in. Versus making them feel like they need cosmetic work even though they came in for a specific emergency.
The people here are amazing!I have been battling with my teeth for decades, yes I said decades. All the other dentists kept trying to apply mortar to a crumbling dam, I was miserable. After my first appointment here I knew they were different. They listened to my rant, possibly excessive, took a full set of x-rays and assessed the damage. They explained everything to me, without rushing, and gave me options. They were all polite, courteous, and respectful while never making me feel uneasy or uncomfortable. Within a week all problems removed and healing quite nicely. Thank you to these amazing people for helping me to smile again.
I went to ASPEN due to a broken tooth. I grind my teeth at night, and it had broke the night before. I am in pain. The staff was friendly and kind. I was told they can fill the tooth. GREAT! Then I was told they would not fill it unless i signed up for $2700 worth of cleaning. I dont want cleanings, I want to be out of pain. I want my filling done. They would not do anything unless I sign on for their plan. Not even extraction. I cannot afford to sign on to this payment. I am forced to suffer due to ASPEN corporate greed. It has been a week and the tooth is falling apart. More pain then before. Thank You for the sales pitch, and nothing else.
Stop charging people for procedures they didn’t get. STOP doing UNNECESSARY procedures to patients. I came in for a cleaning and never received it. However, I was charged for it amongst other things. I will NEVER go here again and if I were you I would avoid them at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if nothing is wrong with your teeth, you will be told that you need fillings, crowns and possibly teeth removed. They will also try to convince you to buy packages you DONT NEED!!
Went there for a second opinion. Was offered a full mouth review of what could be done not just a bandaid fix. The treatment plan was well explained. Since I do not have insurance a payment plan was offered that had options that would work in my budget. The entire staff was friendly and very good at what they each do. All of them including the Dr. was knowledgeable and able to explain things clearly. Why did I hesitate to change Dentist? I now have a new home for my dental needs. A huge thank you to all of the staff!
Please DONT give this place your business!!! I understand this is a chain so I didnt really have high hopes but it was what we can afford with our insurance. The visit itself was fine, it is their office manager and billing service. They first couldnt find my insurance in their drop down box so they said they would call me about in 24 to 48 hours. When they called me, they would schedule my follow-up appointment. They forced me to pay the new patient deal they have EVEN THOUGH I have insurance that covered. I never got that call back. Called them twice. Never heard anything back. Finally called and demanded my money back. Will watch to see if they do. They said I needed some work done but obviously dont care enough about me as a patient to schedule to get it fixed. We will be going elsewhere and telling everyone to as well! I saw from other reviews that I am not the only person this has happened to. No I dont care about your apology that you will try and make as a reply to this review. Little too late!
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!Everyone working there is upbeat and kind. They treat you like a friend. The hygienists are thorough and professional and explain the why behind every what. Doctor was keen to listen to my story and was happy to move forward with a treatment plan that we could both agree upon to fit my needs. This place is about the people in the chair, not the wallets in their pockets.
Shot me a 2700 bill for cleaning that I didnt want, struck the nerve in my wisdom tooth and caused more pain to the point I ended up in the emergency room and ended up needing emergency surgery to remove the wisdom teeth. All in all theyre friendly but it seemed more like they wanted to sales pitch me and to make money off me rather than actually help me with the pain.I feel like they didnt do anything after they realized all I wanted was to be out of pain.
Staff was amazingly friendly and apologetic for my wait because of an emergency situation. The staff was down to earth, willing to talk me through the procedures i needed, and helped me through the finances as well. They were very knowledgeable and caring. Would recommend them to anyone who is nervous about dentists. They made me feel the most comfortable i ever have been at a dentist!
I went in knowing my teeth were bad but explained I only have state insurance and not alot of money. They came up with a plan to pull 6 of my teeth bc they “couldnt be saved” and give me dentures all in a 3 day span. Told her there was no way i could pay for that bc it was guna be 3k that week alone. They didnt give me any other options. I left in tears, terrified, and defeated thinking there was nothing I could do. Recently found a new dentist that was able to come up with a much more financially doable plan and hes also saving 3 of my teeth aspen said were unsavable! Dont go there! They dont care about their patients.
Absolutely horrible experience with the end of the appointment.Everyone was very nice in the office but I was told I needed to pay $400+ to do a gingivitis treatment in order for them to do my routine cleaning down the line - this is AFTER my insurance kicked in. This is also something that, per my gum numbers and overall condition of my teeth, was barely needed. Absolutely ridiculous and a scam. They will get my plans money for the new patient dental x-rays but thats all theyre getting from me. I recommend staying away from this company.
Had two crowns done. Was told with my insurance it would be around 1500. Well 5000 later I have my crown they kept trying to tack on a 150 dollar tooth brush. I hope this changes I feel like its a gamble one week I had a 200 dollar credit the next I owe 800 dollars without a visit in between.
I give them 0 out of 5 stars. (I know it says 1 star, but it wouldnt let me post my review without providing a star ranking) My experience was terrible. I went in for a cleaning and they took a billion x-rays of me, way more than I should have gotten. Then they told me I had gingivitis when I most certainly did not. I got a second opinion at another dentist and they confirmed I did not have that at all. Not only that, but I never got my cleaning that day, which was the whole purpose of my appointment. Then they tried to sell me a $200 toothbrush at the end of it all and they wouldnt even send my x-rays to my other dentist. I had to go in and physically pick them up. In all honesty, I should have walked out. So beware to all...DO NOT GO THERE unless you want to be lied to.
I had an excellent experience here. Everyone was very friendly i was also seen in a good amount of time. It was very organized and i liked that they explained and showed me everything that was going on with me and made recommendations accordingly as apposed to previous experiences where they just tell me what there planning on doing and sending me off. I also liked that they sit you down in a private office to go over the payments and costs as well as help you to make out a plan for what you choose to get done. I felt that it made me feel like i wasnt put on the spot and that i had an option in my care and evaluation. I would recommend this place to people. Its also very convenient because you can make appointments online at any time.
I really appreciate the professional and compassionate care that Aspen Dental provided me. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel right at home. Dr. Rai thoroughly explained the procedures and answered all of my questions. Office manager, Julie Porter, went the extra mile to help me get financing through CareCredit so I could get the dental care that I desperately needed. Julie also took the time to carefully explain all of my options and made sure I understood my treatment plan. Every staff member that I encountered made me glad that I chose Aspen Dental for my dental needs.
Easy booking, the staff was very kind. I had an exam and xrays done my first visit. I didn’t need any major work done, just a cleaning for the second visit. But everyone there was friendly and I was in and out very promptly for both of my visits so far. Would recommend to anyone looking for a dentist
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, but the wait for everything was pretty ridiculous. 2 hours for a new patient visit. All I wanted was a cleaning, and I didnt even get that. They did do x-rays and an exam, but then basically tried to upsell me. I dont want that, just clean my teeth and fill my cavity.
I was a walk in but they were busy...on a Monday. How ever they worked me in I just had to wait Erin was the sweetest... I was in pain but she took her time with my x-rays to not cause any more pain. I was very pleased with my exam. The dentist also took her time explaining what she could do for me and what my resolve would be.The negative things I can say is I felt a little rushed into signing up for future dental work. I want it done but with no insurance coming up with $9000+ might take a minute. TOOK ME WEEKS TO GET MY DEPOSIT BACK WHEN I DECIDED TO WAIT FOR DENTAL INSURANCE! MULTIPLE EMAILS AND CALLS LATER FINALLY GOT MY $500 BACK!! its a 2 second job, left me with many doubts. Also went over what I was being billed for, charged me to pull teeth I dont have. Questioned this was told probably a root, how ever dentist had made comment about how well that tooth was pulled... Didnt leave any root behind there.
The team at Aspen Dental in Bloomington are amazing! They are very friendly, courteous, patient, and knowledgeable. They made me feel like I was their only patient even though I knew I wasnt. Their attentiveness is amazing! And Traci, the office manager, completely understood my financial situation...and never once made me feel like I had to pawn all of my belongings in order to get my dental needs met. She worked out numerous options to help me choose which I could afford rather than just telling me how much Id have to pay... All in all, this was one of the most wonderful experiences Ive ever had going to the dentist!!! My son has an appt today and my husband will be next...Aspen Dental in Bloomington is my dental team now!
As a new patient, it took a little while to get settled because of all the initial paperwork and x-rays, but I was expecting that. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were eager to answer any questions and great about communicating the health of my teeth. The facilities looked newer and clean. Id recommend this place to other new patients!
Started off great considering I was able to get in right away like same day I called but was misled. Love the staff when I arrived all beautiful warm welcoming smiles. It started smooth with the lovely Erin dental assistant she is amazing and was the one that helped my pain temporary considering I was there over and hour and 15 mins had X-ray and hygiene tech was also great, wasn’t too impress with the dentist on staff she asked me to sit and wait until she was done with her procedures on other patients and I would be last to place a filling. Mind you I was at work and was under the impression it would be taken care of same day. NOPE!!! I had to get back to work. I work 12 hour shifts so it’s hard to get in well too good to be true. Really appreciate Erin for going over and beyond to assist me even temporarily. God bless her heart and her great compassion. So I had to leave couldn’t wait any longer maybe I’ll come back some day praying for a better experience.
I saw an advertisement saying$100 for a tooth pulled. When I went to this Aspen location they told me I needed two teeth pulled and it would be $250 each tooth since it was a wisdom tooth and the one next to it, which requires oral surgery. I was also told I needed to spend $2000 for gum problems. The pain went away and after I got a job with benefits I went to the dentist. He ended pulling only ONE tooth, he said the other was fine, and he didnt have to do surgery, he used hand tools to pull my wisdom tooth. I asked my dentist about gum problems and he said my gums are fine. I can only assume this place is a CON, if you can go elsewhere than you should, dont let them rip you off.
A brief delay from waiting room to dental service area, but all employees were courteous, helpful and professional. Patient care area was clean and tidy. Hygienist was pleasant and efficient. Post-treatment examination by dentist for current or future problem areas was thorough. Next appointment was scheduled quickly. I am a returning patient who has always been satisfied with quality of care patient-staff relationship. Will continue to recommend this location to others.
As a college student in this town I would recommend Aspen Dental to anyone needing comfort, care, and support for their dental issues. I had multiple concerns when I first visited Aspen Dental (as I haven’t taken the best care of my gums or been avid with dental check ups). Durning each visit this office has been patient and extra informative with me. I truly enjoy my appointments as they make me feel right at home and never doubtibly make me laugh when I’m scared of a procedure. Aspen dental values their clients which gives them 5 stars everyday in my book.
This was my first time at Aspen Dental. My wisdom teeth are coming in and causing me some pain. However, my insurance only allows me to get x-rays once a year. The dentist there made me, the patient, contact my previous dentist to ask for my x-rays. They even talked to my previous dentist using my cell phone. Then afterwards, they referred me to an oral surgeon and said they couldnt do anything else for me. They told me they would email me my x-rays so I could take them to the oral surgeon. I never received my x-rays via email. Overall, the staff was nice and accommodating and helped me as much as they could .
I was charged more than quoted for dentures and after 6 months they still dont fit, and I gag and choke on them daily. Staff has argued that I just have to get used to them, that Im overreacting. The dentist recommended implant dentures but the price quoted and charged (even with $650 more billed later) is Apparently only for a hard relive of the original plate that doesnt fit.
I originally chose Aspen just because I knew where it was and I needed to see a dentist. Now that I have been there I can honestly say it is the most low stress dentist visit I have ever had. The people are extremely friendly and the dentist is very straightforward about treatments. The financial consultant is very knowledgeable and doesnt pressure you into any treatments you dont feel comfortable with. For those who dont have dental insurance like myself, the treatments prices are very reasonable and there are financing options available such at 0% interest for 18 months and you cant beat that.
It has been many, many years since my last trip to the dentist my nerves were through the roof as I was waiting, but the entire staff very quickly made me feel comfortable. Everyone was real, understanding, professional, nice, and willing to answer questions/offer different explainations. Although the pricing for my treatment is a bit high (in my opinion - keep in mind, I have not shopped around), I will still continue to attend. I believe they will do a great job. Missy, the hygenist, is super sweet and seems very knowledgeable, and Dr. Lyu is very nice!! She made sure to express what she thinks should be done, but also gave me options and made sure I was aware of risks, etc. She even did an on-the-spot extraction for me - despite her with busy schedule! The tech/assistant who took my dental rads was very nice and stayed focused/professional even though it seemed like she needed to be in 50 places at once - I unfortunately didnt catch her name. Either way, I do like this location - it is convenient and the staff is great - I would recommend to anyone.
I really enjoy this Aspen Dental. The staff are very nice. The hygienist is wonderful! They are currently in the process of hiring a new full-time dentist, so I cannot speak about my experience with him or her. The dentists theyve had previously did a good job. I have nothing but positive things to say about this particular Aspen Dental.
I had put off having my teeth pulled and getting upper an lower dentures for a few years. after having trouble chewing I decided to have it done . every one at Aspen Dental was very nice and able to answer all my fears honestly, Katelyn was very positive and made me feel more relaxed on my choice of have it done . Doctor Rai had pulled a bad tooth of mine a year ago . I was glad she still was there . this time she pulled about 12-13 of my remaining teeth .Doctor Rai told me every thing she was going to do before hand and during . She is very calm through out it all and makes sure your feeling No pain ! I her tone of voice was very calming to me and at ease through out this I was glad Katelyn was the chair side thru this .. I am doing good with my temp dentures so far It has only been a few weeks. I cant imagine any one walking out singing zip a de do day after have this done . Its a big change for me , Im 70 .and would suggest to every one to take better care of their teeth to avoid having to go thru this later in life !
I enjoyed my office visit to Aspen in bloomington, IL. I had a filling that fell out and I nervous about getting it done as my last experience with another office was really bad. I called the office and they were able to get me in very quick. the staff were very welcoming. Dr. Fadel is the best dentist I have ever seen. she spent good amount of time explaining everything in details. I didnt have any pain during or after the filling. she was really good. I definitely recommend the office to everyone.
I have always been pleased with the staff at Aspen Dental in Bloomington, IL. They are always happy to see me. My dental hygienist Melissa is the clear standout of their staff. She is great at what she does and has motivated me to get braces and even gave a great referral for this. Im looking forward to having a smile that I can look forward to and have Melissa and the rest of the staff to thank for that:)
Best Dentistry I have ever been to.I travel around the country a lot and have never had such friendly skilled people.Such great chats with Andrea, Brittney, Dawn, Kourtney and Missy they were all very warm and professional.Did I mention that the top quality care was very affordable?Special thanks to Aspen, I will be bringing everyone here from now on!
Please avoid this place if you want dental treatment in budget!! The treatment plan was for $1500 with insurance of 50% without major root canal work, I was like this is expensive! I visited the next dental care and they covered everything for $300 with my insurance. Better avoid this place unless you want to spend extra money for unnecessary treatments!! The doctor just comes up with things and scare you for treatment! I got to know from other doctors that my teeth is way better than what I was told here! I didnt need the root canal, just filling works since I have no pain!!
The place is a scam. I went in there about 7 months ago and had to fight my way out of the place. It was a painful process of having all the different experts trying to selling me stuff. I pretty much was told if I didnt do what was needed I was going to die. It took well over 2 hours and the kicker was I never even got my teeth clean, I had to gt back to work. I called for a cleaning later on and was told they would not do it because of some type of periodontal issue. Before I went earlier in the year I was getting dental car as much as 4 times a year, because I had military and civilian care and no one came up with all the issues these folks did in one visit. STAY AWAY IT IS A SCAM!
Needed a replacement denture for a family member. They got it all taken care of and with an onsite lab, got them delivered in 1 week! Thanks for restoring his smile and making the process so easy! The Dr and staff were all very professional, friendly, conscientious, and caring!! We highly recommend this office
My experience was amazing! From Traci the office manager who helped me a great deal with planning, Carlotta, Amber and Dr. Matin were wonderful and truly seemed to care about me as a person and not just a chart number. Each of my visits were prompt and I never felt like I was being rushed, and I have no doubt my future appointments will be the same. I have already recommended this office to several people. Thank you all so very much, I can smile again!!!!
I went in, after asking on the phone if they could realign my dentures, which they said they could. I went in n waited 45 min to be seen. I was told they could not do that n wanted me to get a whole new set for over $2,000. They even had me apply for credit!!! I went home and cried, as I felt so betrayed.
Id give the NO stars if that was an option.I had to switch dentists due to a change in insurance. I entered the office and was treated rudely from the start. There was popcorn on the floor behind the reception desk, not very sanitary. Then I waited 45 minutes to get called back for my appointment. The dentist checked my teeth and whispered and giggled with the assistant (very uncomfortable). Then I was told that I had to replace 2 fillings and that I had 5 cavities! That seemed odd since I have been to the dentist twice a year since I was four! That number was extreme. I was not told while making the appointment, But they do not do an initial exam and a cleaning on the same day, so Id have to make another appointment to come back for the cleaning, and multiple for the fillings. I was quoted over $600 for the total bill for all that work. I made an appointment with another dentist in town who did do my cleaning and exam all in one visit. He reported that my current fillings were stable and the I had NO CAVITIES!! What a SCAM!!!! I will not be returning to Aspen, nor will anyone in my family be going. I caution you if they try to sell you on extra work!
I absolutely love this dental office! they are SO helpful and so nice. Price wise not to bad. I mean its a little pricey but can you really put a price on your oral health? but the service is fantastic and they do one hell of a job. The dental hygienist that was working with me both times i have been there Missy is FABULOUS! Each time ive been there i have been on and out in a timely manner and the front desk ladies are so nice as well.
The entire staff was phenomenal! As a single mother sometimes you become accustomed to learning how to make it any and every way you can. From figuring out a way to get me seen despite being full to playing with my son during x-rays, this team provided more than just medical attention, they provided care and support. There aren’t enough words— they’re incredible!
I was extremely pleased with my experience with Aspen Dental. Dawn McGregor, you are Amazing, Helping me understand the whole process from Financial and then procedure. Making me feel so comfortable. Thank you so much for all that you did for me. Dr Ken you also are Amazing. The staff Is great . Friendly. You all gave me a wonderful smile. Thank you all at Aspen Dental.
From the first day I walked into Aspen Dental in Bloomington, IL, I felt comfortable. The staff was quick to place my needs and concerns as a top priority. Amber, my hygienist, continues to go above and beyond, asking how I am doing, whats new in my life, and really makes me feel like a priority. Dr. Matin, my dentist, is patient, and very thorough in his explanations, making sure I am comfortable and confident going into each and every procedure.Being my age, I have seen my fair share of dental offices, and met my share in hygienists, but, I would seriously rethink moving out of town if it meant I would no longer be within driving distance to this office. If youre in need of a friendly, UNDERSTANDING, dental office...I would recommend no one else. I no longer dread going to the dentist, and that is saying a lot.
They will cancel appointments they make, and after getting a quote I thought was high for work to be done, I asked for a print out of it. Teeth they were going to work on they had set for extraction! Four extractions were on the estimate that they were planning on repairing (so a double charge that was going to leave me with no front teeth......). Had a partial done there that didnt fit so they tried three times to grind my other teeth to make their piece fit! Just today I received a bill and it seemed even higher.....yeah, they gave me someone elses bill, with their address, phone number and detailed information. So I had to turn around and go back to give it back to them and get mine. Just an awful place.*UPDATE*Followed your direction, called customer service, left them my phone number and e-mail address, was told they would have a regional rep contact me within 24hrs, been about a week now. Realizing the issues with this company must start at the top......*Update*Was told a THIRD time I would be contacted within 24hrs....didnt happen AGAIN!!!*Update*4 times I have called the number you supplied, 4 times they told me they would be in contact within 24 hours, 4 times they didnt. Why did you even tell me to contact them. Walking though your office door was the worst decision Ive made in years.
Everyone at this office has been extremely helpful and professional. As most people do, I hate going to the dentist but the staff at the Bloomington office has made it enjoyable. The office manager Traci went well beyond what I would consider a normal effort and made sure that all the work I needed could get done and within my budget. The rates were very reasonable.Amber, the hygienist really loves her job and made sure that I was comfortable and relaxed. The Dr.s Matin and Malik and their trusty assistant Brittany were equally considerate making sure that I felt no pain or discomfort at any point. They were happy to take their time and answer all my questions, of which there were a lot, and I never felt as if I did not have their complete attention.Fred, the dental tech, who made my new partial, worked tirelessly and even made a special trip back to the office after hours when there was a minor hiccup. He made sure that the details and fit were perfect.I was leery of the Big Box name on the door but the whole experience felt very personal and relaxed and I would highly recommend their office both for price and service.
Aspen dental they must be crazy there 1 n dats get my teeth cleaned . And get a chipped tooth fixed.they tell me I need $1,200 out of pocket to clean my teeth so thats not happening. Ask them just go ahead and put a crown on a chipped tooth they refuse to do it unless I paid them to $1,200 to clean my teeth first. What is this trying to strong-arm to customers make them pay for stuff they dont need told him theyre crazy Ill find a new dentist somewhere else.so if you want to get ripped off go to Aspen dental theyll take your money when they dont need it and force you to do things that you dont need before theyll help you fix what you do need.
Very nice staff and doctor was nice and knowledgeable. However, my appoitment was at 9:30 and by the time I got in it was about 10:05... they had to do my X-rays twice cause the first time hey messed it up. I was in there for about 2 hours .. thankfully I didnt have to work until 1:30. Other than that I had a great experience there , going on for a filling and a cleaning next!
Look forward to my cleanings just because of Missy (Hyg) and the amazing staff! You can tell they really care! Dawn (OM) was so easy to talk too which helped with my ease of mind. I used to never have confidence in my dentistry but since we started going here I feel at ease.
Nice curtious staff. They have a great dentist. She is very gentle. I had her extract some teeth at her last practice and she is done before u realise. They was able to squeeze me in for a emergency extraction. Great helpful staff. The phone line isnt the best for sure but office staff was great
What an absolute joke. I was looking for a new dentist in town and I will never be going back here. This is not a dentist to help your dental health this is a dentist sell you all of their scans and products. I asked how much this was going to cost knowing well that I have dental insurance that covers exams and cleanings they tried telling me that it was going to be $20 and then that changed to it was gonna be a few hundred dollars because my insurance doesn’t cover the extensive x-rays that they needed to do in order for the doctor to qualify to see me. Left without getting a cleaning because I Was going to need a $500 gingivitis program before I could ever get an initial cleaning. My gums of been bleeding for five years now on and off they stand some changes in my diet and I’ve been regularly treated by multiple other dentists but not this one.
Aspen Dental gets a 5 star review from me! My big baby of a husband was terrified of getting his extractions and they really reassured him and made sure that he was as comfortable as he could be. They have an amazing staff and our dental assistant (Brittney Crebo) and colleagues who helped calm and keep my restless children busy while we sat and waited on my husband. If you are looking for a good affordable oral atmosphere to go to.. I highly recommend Aspen Dental in Bloomington!
First we got appointment on 9/19, my wife was 5 mins late and they cancelled my appointment without checking with us. Again they schedule on (9/23) Saturday Morning and once we reached office on time they cancelled our appointment as they dont see new patient on Saturday. we have reschedule our appointment for (9/28).D-day 9/28, finally my wife was able to meet Doctor and she is very rode. Dr office have not explain why I need to go for full X-ray and how much it cost. Again they called us said that my wife need to go for ultra cleaning without giving estimation.SAVE YOUR MONEY & TIME
I have had nothing but problems going to Aspen. Had to pre-pay, and what little bit insurance paid, it wasnt worth going to the only place on the list. My temporary plate broke. I went into the office, they couldnt get me in for a week. It has now been 3 weeks since I had impressions for a permanent plate, and I am still waiting for the Framework! How they see walkins and emergencies (which I was told my plate breaking was not an emergency) [maybe it wasnt to them, but it was for me].I was told it would be done and I would have it by now. They keep charging for things, told me I cant get my plate until I have another cleaning. I wish I had never stepped foot in that door. I would not recommendanyone to go to Aspen. Their idea of customer service is to email you an appointment time - or if they make you one while you are thereand you tell them it wont work, they shrug their shoulders and walk off.
Had an appointment scheduled for 11:45 and came in to find out that they were running about a half hour behind. They asked me to reschedule and I couldnt since I had already taken off work for this appointment. I told them I would wait the half hour. I waited the half hour and the girl at the front desk told me five more minutes. I waited another five more minutes for them to call me back and let me know that they needed me to come back at 1:30 so that they could eat lunch. I asked why they would schedule an appointment during their lunch hour and the dentist said I dont know why they would do that. Obviously there is no accountability or responsibility in this office. The dentist that addressed me was careless and rude. I ended up leaving with no resolution and all they were worried about was eating. DO NOT GO TO ASPEN DENTAL BLOOMINGTON, IL. Save yourself money and time.
I am 24 years old and Terrified of dental work, always have been, always will be. This particular office treated me as a normal person instead of like a scared animal, as other places such as Lakewood have, and have worked with my anxiety, financial situations, and helping me choose the right treatment plan. The staff in this office are Outstanding with patients, and are VERY friendly, they even remembered my name when i left at the front desk, Without looking at the paper (;
My girlfriend came in for x rays this morning and the lady had to take multiple pictures because she kept messing up. My girlfriend is extremely scared of dentists and they did no reassurance to comfort her. The lady put the panels in her mouth for taking x rays and it was cutting up my girlfriends mouth. When she went to complain the assistant just jammed it right back in her mouth with an attitude. Avoid this place at all costs.
I never thought I would have so fun much at the dentist! It was so much fun. They were so kind. They were gentle and took the time to explain what services I need and how much it costs. It was such an amazing experience and I never thought I would say this but I can’t wait to go back!
Over the last several years I had to have teeth removed and it finally brought me to Aspen Dental in Bloomington Illinois. Due to my previous dental visits with other dentist, I had walked out of those offices in lots of pain and misery. When I came to Aspen it was due to a work friend who recommend them. My experience with Aspen was the greatest I had ever had with any Dentist or Doctor.I had to have my final teeth removed. It had been over a year with no teeth for my bottom and only 7 left for my top. The Doctor was very thoughtful of my previous experiences I had been through. She made sure I was comfortable through the whole process. The staff through this process was extremely helpful and very caring also, if it was not the doctor it was the staff!Believe me when I tell you that Thursday when I went in after my 2 trial fittings before my extractions I was all smiles. The doctors and all of her staff had worked so hard on making sure I had a smile. I had not smiled in over a year. That day came after pulling my teeth and the first thing I did after they were done was grab my phone and took a selfie with a full set of teeth. I do believe I had tears in my eyes due to I had not smiled in so long because of my teeth and here I sat in the dental chair just minutes after having my teeth removed for a selfie. The following day when I went in for my 1st follow up I could not stop smiling and talking, to me it felt like Christmas morning and my wish had come true for my teeth and a very beautiful smile.Anyone who is going to be going through this process please take these steps and you will find yourself back on top. Pain management- listen to what the doctors say for your meds, Dont forget to take them. Do not forget to eat while taking them even if it consists of a soft diet. Leave your dentures in till otherwise told. Speech is easy, just pick up a book and read it out loud for 15-30 min several times a day. You will find that certain words are hard to say, I know it will be hard just dont give up! With each day you will feel and sound better. Dont rush to read it fast, nice and slow for proper pronunciation. Everyone has a different healing process, for me I was back to work in only 4 days. The most important thing is take a selfie before you have them removed and take another selfie right after your done and sitting in the chair you will see a whole new you with a beautiful smile. As for me it has been 12 days since my extractions and I enjoy my new beautiful smile.A very special thank you to Dr. Rai, Viola, Erin, Brittney, Molly, Andrea, Kourtney and everyone in the office you have been so great! You girls have the biggest hearts. You girls truly are angels and you girls truly understand team work. Thank you all for helping me regain the beautiful smile I have now! I personally believe that a thank you is not enough for what you did for me and so many others that come into your office.Just ask the girls about Ken, the guy who did his own research I am sure they will have a good story to tell you. From no smile to a beautiful happy smile.Ken L.
The actual dental exam areas were dirty. They state in writing that you can take a copy of your x-rays with you, but they refused saying their printer wasnt working. The x-rays are digitally taken and have to be printed. If they could print them for the doctor, why couldnt they print them for me to take to me regular dentist? It was supposed to be an emergency visit to have an emergency filling put in, but I saw the dentist for less than 5 minutes, after waiting over an hour, only to be told they didnt have the time to do the filling and it was only an emergency exam they would do. They also tried to get me to agree to have all of my upper teeth pulled as well as my lower molars for dentures, which are not needed. Talk recommending unnecessary procedures.
I had lost a filling in a molar and a Doctor with the first name of Robert filled it and advised me that it should be removed. I explained that I wasnt in a position to do it now but would but would when I returned to Bloomington in the spring. This was a very pleasant and professional experience. Not only the doctor but the entire staff especially including the receptionist, Amanda, and that is why I use Aspen instead of other dentists.Dan McClellan
I went to Aspen dental yesterday to see a dentist for the first time in about 5 years. I was very open with all the staff I worked with. Andrea is one of the Lead Dental Technicians and took my X-rays. Andrea was very efficient and took the fastest X-rays I have ever had. I was then led back to the patient room to wait for the oral hygienist. I ended up waiting about 25 minutes. At first I was upset but then I realized they were just very busy for the day. Missy was a wonderful hygienist and very educating as she went through the initial inspection and potential treatments going forward. She also gave me a diagnosis on something that came up but suggested I ask the dentist as he is more qualified than her. Dr. Webster came back shortly after Missy finished and took a more thorough look. Dr. Webster explained that I would need to have my Wisdom teeth removed sooner rather than later based on my age and their growth pattern. He also mentioned that I would need to rebuild and crown a chipped tooth. When he was finished, he asked if I had any questions. I asked about the sore that Missy saw and he didnt even look at it. He said it was probably an accident and to not worry about it going forward in a dismissive tone. I also asked Dr. Webster about corrective work on my teeth because I hit my mouth when I fell onto a coffee table when I was 4 years old and never had work done to fix it. Dr. Webster stated I should research orthognathic surgery and then make a decision. I was very frustrated because I am 26 years old and am very aware of the internet. I would rather seek a professional opinion rather than go to google where they would probably say I have something worse than it is. Maybe I do need drastic procedures done to correct it, but I would rather find out from a person who went through extensive schooling than a website that is curated by hundreds of random people that I do not know for sure if they are qualified to provide a proper diagnosis. On top of that, the internet cannot see the X-rays that were taken an hour ago and describe to me verbally and visually what the process would be. I dont like to leave lengthy reviews and I was not happy to have a sour tone while writing this because the beginning of my visit was everything I could ask for since it has been 5 years since my last dentist visit. Please go and give Aspen Dental a shot as Dr. Webster may have just been having a bad day. I hope this experience was a one-off and not a true representation of how Aspen Dental treats their patients on a daily basis.
Aspen Dental is awesome! I cracked three teeth in a bike accident and Aspen Dental was able to fit me in the same day. Dr. Malik was super nice and concerned about my overall well-being, not just my teeth. Because of all the friendly and helpful staff at Aspen Dental, I walked in with missing teeth and left with a smile!
After going to Aspen Dental, I will no longer question as to where Ill go for my dental needs. The staff at Aspen Dental are held to a high standard for promoting excellent care to their patients. All of my needs and concerns were met without a doubt. I had a handful of questions that were answered with ease and assurance by the Doctor, RDH, and the financial consultant. Missy, the RDH, was Amazing!! She deffinately knows what shes doing! She was gentle, very thorough, and prompt with the cleaning I had done that day. The financial consultant was very informative without being too pushy. The woman at the front desk greeted me with a smile and was very courteous. Everyone at the Aspen Detal Office in Bloomington were professional and made me feel special. Ive always loved going to the dentist so I didnt have any apprehention upon or during my visit. However, I can tell how understanding and sympathetic the team would be to a patient that may be more nervous than I was. I will be back for sure in 6 months for my next cleaning :)
Very nice staff and doctor. My appointment was at 11:00 am and did not get in until 11:30 am but it was explained to me and apology was told to me that they had not been open because of the Covid 19 and were a little under staffed during my day of appointment. I received the treatment I was there to get
The Bloomington office is AMAZING! Mallory and Dr. Dossett was very friendly and compassionate to my dental needs. When I had an issue with my dentures, whether it be sore spots or not fitting right I was able to get in usually the same day or the next day and get it taken care of. I highly recommend this location to anyone needing dental procedures.
Very bad experience with Aspen Bloomington IL. On first day they told Intial dental exam was free with your insurance and no need pay money from your pocket. After 45 days I got a bill of $73 and today I visited aspen to cross check now they are telling your insurance is not paid so you need to pay and forced me to pay the money. They will tell lie to get the business. Not trustable.I got the call from Aspen customer support on 08/02/2017 and they told sorry for what happened and we are reverting back your 73$ to master card. But still now Im not seeing that transaction.
My girlfriend went here for a cleaning and ended up just getting an exam and x-rays that took over two hours! She was not previously told she would not get a cleaning until she scheduled another appointment, and after spending over two hours waiting for people to get her exam and x-rays some she was told her next appointment for the cleaning would cost $250. $250 and that is with her student discount card which brought the price down from $600!!! That is just a little less than Ive paid for a crown (with a discount program as well, but still... ). The whole experience was a major red flag, and as she was waiting in the office (which was most of the visit) she was texting me saying how she already knew shed never come back. The only good thing about the visit was that the staff was apparently very nice. My girlfriend said if they had not been so nice she would have just walked out.
Its not entirely the staffs fault, but I was not pleased with trying to set-up a new appointment. I called central scheduling, and they offered an appointment at 5 (wasnt an emergency or anything, but it worked with my schedule). It was relatively short notice, but I said I could make it there for a 5 PM appointment. I made it there at 4:50 and they informed me that they would have to re-schedule the appointment. They said they can book appointments at the office as well and had already filled the 5 PM spot apparently. The staff was nice about it, but I did not think that was the way they should have acted with a new patient. I made the effort to get there early, and I understand you cannot double book necessarily. It was frustrating though rushing over to be early for an appointment that did not happen because of a glitch in their system.
I was so amazed. The DA that was taken care of me, Cindy was absolutely awesome. She was experience and understanding. I love Dr. Dosset!!! She is so skilled and compassionate. I went in emotionally distract, but I came out smiling with a temp fix and information for what I could and am going to have done to fix my problem. Thank you so much Aspen Dental and especially Dr. Dosset.
They used a dental tech student to do my xrays which would habe been fine if the dental tech in charge was not intimidating to both her and me. She told me You wont be able to see the dentist if you choke. Eyeroll. She huffed as she took the xrays herself. The hygenist was very kind but didnt get to work on me. 2 hours later. It took over 2 hours and no work done. But they made sure they gave me the written estimate. I am not a car. I went to Hershey Dental and withim a half hour they were pulling my tooth and calling me dear.
The front office staff were very unwelcoming. As a brand new patient I wasnt sure what to do when I first came in. The young woman at the desk looked at me and looked away when I walked in. She didnt greet me, tell me what to do, ask me anything, etc. I just kind of made guesses here and there like, Maybe I should put my name here and take a seat.Another lady from the desk needed my birthday and instead of addressing me by name she stood there and said, birthday. It seemed like an okay facility but the unprofessionalism from the front staff really gave me a bad taste for the entire place. Its unfortunate that a few people with bad customer service can ruin an experience.
The entire staff were so very kind. They were able to replace my bottom denture. I dropped it and broke it. It only took 4 days to get it fixed. The bottom denture matches the top 100% perfectly. Thank you all for giving me back my smile. I am now a patient for life.
Didnt get seen until 30 minutes after my appointment was meant to start. The tech was incredibly rough during my x-rays and cut up my mouth with the metal brace for the film. In all, the experience took over two hours and I wish I had followed my gut instinct to walk out after 15 minutes of waiting.
As someone who is terrified of Dentist trips, this was my first one in while. Everyone here was super understanding, gentle, and they walked me through everything to help me understand what was going to happen. They answered all my questions and didnt make me feel bad for being afraid (even as a grown man). I am less worried about future appointments thanks to the awesome team here. I strongly recommend this place for first timers, children, or any other grown men terrified of Dentists. LOL
My son went to Aspen Dental and was asking questions about how much they were trying to bill him and they said they were going to call the police if he didnt leave the premises. I definitely would think twice before going to an Aspen. I wouldnt even go there as a last resort. He said he would rather be pecked to death by a duck then to go there!
Aspen Dental has a very pleasant atmosphere the staff was very friendly and professional especially Andrea Rosales she was very knowledgeable and eased my concerns about various procedures Im going to be undertaking soon. I recommend that you come here for your dental needs because Dr. Kenneth Kadziela is excellent
The dentist was funny, personable, and very through, Normally I am terrified of the dentist but she made it feel more like a super smart friend poking around in my mouth than a scary medical person. She also was very good at explaining all the little details when I asked instead of using medical jargon.
First time I was at this office the manager at the time, day after Thanksgiving, the couldnt function because of o.m.was not in couldnt even pay bill, never heard back until I contacted them after holidays, service never got any better would call and leave messages, o.m.always said she didnt get message ,my wife called to cancel appointment o.m. got loud blamed confusion on me because I called other aspen office for appointment and hung up on my wife. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO ANYONE! !
I love the Bloomington office of aspen dental after having a major surgical extraction of 15 teeth from the east Peoria office and having them not schedule a follow-up or even make a set of immediates I could wear I got frustrated and went to the Bloomington office and WOW what a difference. Everyone is super nice and explained everything and even fixed the plates I had gotten from east Peoria they are amazing and caring and I cant think of anywhere I would rather go for my dental needs!
I cannot say enough about the service I received at Aspen the staff (Vesta/Maria) not only professional, but kind informative so willing to help make my visit a pleasant experience My previous dealings with Dentist has not been the best But the staff and personel here at Aspen has restore my faith and eased my fear Thank you
Had a tooth pulled here and they refused to give me pain meds for the obvious pain, and again after I had to leave work from the pain...this is the 9th tooth Ive had pulled in the last 10 years and never have I been denied pain meds for a tooth extraction....so I had to go to the er who also suggested I should find a new dentist...
Im only giving it one star because you have to give it at least one dirty exam rooms waited an hour in the waiting room after the exam for the doc who had an employee come out to tell me i have no cavities which i already know i have two from the other dentists ive been to and of course the pain in my mouth i will not be back

2021-12-31The staff members that helped us were very friendly and efficient. We were greeted by the friendly receptionist who walked us through the new patient process which didn’t take that long. I brought my elderly father in for a denture repair and they were able to repair it on site the same day! In fact it was finished earlier than promised. We appreciated that.I had never been to an Aspen dental facility before so I didn’t know what to expect except what I had seen advertised. All in all it was a good experience. They did put us in an office with the finance person after the consultation and while she was very nice and friendly her job obviously requires her to “suggest” additional services and it felt kind of salesy but she wasn’t pushy. My only other less than rave review point would be about the cleanliness of the individual patient spaces (where the chair is). It was very dusty and needed a good cleaning. My house gets dusty also but I am not doing business there.

2022-06-21I was here for the first time in April 2022 for a 6-month check up and cleaning. After many x-rays, the doctor shoed up and in an instant she determined I had bone infection. The treatment was about $7,000, but with my insurance, it would go down to $1,700. They put me in an office where they made me sign a contract and pay half of it as a deposit. I was puzzled, but I usually trust doctors, so I went ahead, paid for it, and went home without my cleaning done. Theyd refuse to do a cleaning unless I do the bone infection treatment. That was my first red flag. Once home, I carefully looked at the proposed treatment and it included all sorts of non-necessary things, among them a $150 electric brush. I already have and use one, and nobody mentioned to me this was included in the bill.I called my insurance and they suggested me consulting with another dentist. I did, and I DO NOT HAVE BONE INFECTION. I called Aspen Dental to cancel my appointment and get my money back. They reluctantly refunded me, but not without a fight. I requested copy of my x-rays, but I never received them.My wife came here also for a first appointment the same week, and they also found her bone infection. She ran away from the place! This place is a money maker scam. Stay away! There are many other dentists in town with ethics and your interest at heart. Not this one!

2022-03-19I had 2 teeth that needed pulled as I was in extreme pain. I went with Aspen Dental because the had an open appointment the next day. Had my X-rays and exam done. Was told that they would call in an antibiotic and I could have the tooth pulled in about 3 days. After the exam they sent me to someone to discuss my suggested treatment plan. I was shocked when they handed me an estimate for over $6,400. I declined and asked if I could just schedule my 2 extractions to be done, she went to speak with the Doctor and I was told that they would not pull my teeth unless I went with the gum treatment plan, totaling $3,200. The staff is very kind, but it’s ultimately all about the money to them. I will take my business elsewhere.

2022-05-17Great People work here!!!! From the time you walk inside until you leave. Everyone is professional, kind and pleasant. They make sure you understand whats happening and listen to what you want and inform you of what you need. I was told about this dental office by a co-worker. If you have any doubt or insecurities or fears about dental services. Leave them at the door and walk in. 10 stars!!!Thank you. SJE

2022-05-13Workers are INCREDIBLY rude. Hygienist was also especially rude. I need forms for my brothers school verifying we got checked out & they refused to give it to us because we cancelled a filling appointment. The school nurse also tried to contact them to get it but they refused for her too & she couldn’t understand why seeing as it’s a simple form stating we got his dental checked. Seems like they only wanna work with you if you have money coming out of your pockets. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

2022-07-14BEWARE they will try to tell you that you need services that are not necessary and then require full payment of said procedures just to be able to make an appointment for them. I went to another reputable Dentist and was told my gums are healthy and I do not have a plaque issue. I did not need the procedure Aspen Dental told I needed. I was in high hopes of using a Dentist within network. Quite disappointed in the way it is going or actually not going. First the initial visit x-rays...I was told I needed a deep cleaning, I had two large fillings that would need crowns... Ok with the cleaning but crowns? My response, If it isnt broke dont fix it. The Aspen system was down and they said they could not get the cost of the procedure and walked me to the waiting room. I was never told that the were not going to do the procedure. I sat there for a half an hour. After waiting I asked the girl at the desk when I was going to be seen as I had already been there 2.5 hrs. She said I dont have an order for you. I asked you see a client sitting in front of you...the receptionist and you dont ask if you could help.. OK so then I was told I had to make another appointment. Ok lets make another appointment she said I would have to pay in full before the appointment could be made. Pay in full for service not done... nope never in my life have I paid for a service before it was done. OK so we will wait for the system to be up then we will get a cost estimate and insurance coverage. Eleven days later in spite of calling and leaving messages I again had to call them to find out what was going on. I just spoke with my insurance they have not received a claim yet for any work done by Aspen. My confidence is eroding. This was a mistake. I asked for my records to be sent and digital files of the x-rays be sent to my email as I will have my two brother in laws who are retired dentists review them I still have not received them.

2022-08-08TERRIBLE!!!! DO NOT DO IT!!!. My husband got his dentures here and they are awful. Dont fit have fixed them 3 times and hes had no teeth this entire time. Money back guarantee which they dont honor. Went to a different dentist he laughed and said those teeth arent right at all. You can get better teeth at a Halloween store. Dont waste your time and money!!

2022-08-11Scanning/x-rays were very thorough. My deep cleaning experience was thorough and much less of a strain from past experiences with other hygenists. Appreciated the techniques and equipment and skill used very much.

2022-04-18I came in last year, the doctor is actually great although they charged me a bunch of money out of pocket for a mouth wash. I call in today because I want to get a cleanup done but I am not in town. The place I am heading out of town requested for the x-rays that this place has done for me before. The lady on the phone told me that I have to sign a release form for them to share my x-rays with me, the patient. I said great, send it to me, she said you have to come in person. Well, I am out of town so I cant sign the form and they wont give me the x-rays that I already paid for. Thus, I am really disappointed at this place and I wont be coming again (so you just lost a patient). Congrats for that bad service!
