They always give great massages but the brazillians are a hit or miss. Last one left a bunch of patches and didnt even ask me to check it nor did she clean up spots with tweezers like others have done. Had to go home and shave several areas but luckily none too hard to reach

I was able to book a prenatal massage same day, huge bonus. Everyone was professional and kind, they even offered to extend my massage time when one of the services I had booked online was not available. Will was fantastic, skilled at prenatal massage, and provided a very relaxing but therapeutic experience. Ill definitely be back!
I was a frequent visitor for years. Most of the girls in my family have but I experienced some rudeness today. I did receive a call that my stylist was ill but I was driving all this way to their location to get the needed cut and color and they had called me on the road. I then wanted to speak in person (it is better to speak in person because professionalism is key) and I was barely greeted, the other ladies were taken care of with a smile and when she saw me, she was in instant panic. I felt outcasted for being a patron for so long just for a cut and color that I needed. I love my stylist, but I will no longer be using their services because of the rudeness I had just experienced.
BAD -- Would Never go there again., nor would I ever recommend this place to anyone else.. Spent $256 at check out. Unbelievable; Very Very Short BLUNT cut on coarse hair.So short, I dont think there is enough hair to have someone correct the bad hair cut.(To the Salon management; where are your Critical Thinking Skills??!You are believing anything you are told over the phone by people you do not know?!)I am a Senior citizen & have never experienced this type of salonbehavior before.I am new to this area; originally from Minnesota & Colorado.So this is the best salon in Rockford, Illinois??!VERY S A D :(
Professional interior with great customer service every step of the way. I was helped immensely with hair problems I had, and never made to feel dumb because I didnt know something like I had been treated at other places. Jen was more than happy to educate me completely. It was a relaxing visit and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quality salon visit!
Poor customer service experience. Despite booking an appointment well in advance and receiving multiple confirmations they called less than 3 hours before my appointment to inform me that they made an error with their scheduling system and my appointment was no longer available. They made no offer to reschedule my appointment and the late notice makes it hard to schedule this service at a different salon. Very disappointing experience.
I joined the monthly care membership in July and have been getting a massage Every month since. After a few times of trying different masseuses at random I had an appointment with Teisha and knew I found the person Id stick with. She is amazing and I cannot wait for my next appointment. The whole staff at Asha has been extremely helpful and very understanding during COVID. They take the necessary health precautions and the facility is always clean!
I went in for a no chip mani and pedi. It was the worst pedicure I ever received. They didnt do any type of buffing to get rid of rough skin on the toes. They hardly even cleaned the nails. The shape was wavey and uneven. I actually had to take the file to round the nail myself. Then the no chip polish didn’t even last three days. The other employees were completely unprofessional doing each other’s nails while they should have been working. It took 3 hours and they charged me $117. I will never recommend or go back.
This was my first true spa experience. My husband purchased a facial and prenatal massage for me a while back. Everyone was so kind from the moment I walked in the door. Going back to the spa was so relaxing, from the lighting, to the scents, and music. Nancy, I believe was my masseur and she was so polite and did a wonderful job making sure I was comfortable. Dakota was my esthetician, she was very friendly and made my skin feel amazing. I will definitely be back for any future spa services I need.
I love getting my highlights done at Asha. Angi is my stylist and she has done and Amazing job. She has a very professional and friendly personality. I highly recommend her for any color treatments
No chip manicure on Monday and almost immediately the edges began to wear off. Yesterday(Thursday) a large piece of polish was missing on a nail. Went in and showed them . No apolgy, nothing. I could make an appointent for retouch - which I would have to pay for. Manicurist had no personality and didnt appear to want to be doing what she was doing. Certainly showed in her work. Will spread the word and will NEVER go there again
I bought a special/gift card and when I went to book the service I specifically stated that I was using this special/gift card to pay for the service. At the time of checkout I was charged extra because I was supposed to have “fresh talent”. I explained that I shared this info at the time of booking, but I was still charged extra for some of our services. Our services were great, but I was very frustrated that I was charged extra since I communicated that I was using this special/gift card at the time I booked the treatments. The receptionist made it seem she was doing me a favor by only charging me half of this “extra fee”.
Got a great massage and a beautiful manicure done here. All around great customer service- asking and listening to what I was looking to get done. I will definately be coming back.
Highly recommend Teisha for a massage. She consistently checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain as she gave me a very deep massage. Lovely, relaxing experience.
I took my college daughter for a cut and color and she absolutely loved her time there. Jen was her colorist. She walked my daughter through all the steps, gave her the color options that worked best for her complexion, and went over the costs with me before she began. She was very responsive to what we wanted. The stylist was Ashley. She cut her hair exactly the way she wanted it! Wish I had more cash on hand for a better tip for both ladies. Well be back!
Ashley always cuts my hair. She lets me guide her because Im awfully particular about how I like it styled, kind of old fashioned. She doesnt push me to get a style that I dont want. I just love her. I also have had many pedicures at Asha and only once was I unhappy, every other time, it has been great. I have a lot of allergies so when I get my eyebrows and lip waxed, I have to have all of the wax removed or I breakout really bad. Everyone has been very diligent about cleaning my face and applying oil to stop this problem. You will never find a better massage therapist than Ray. I have a very bad back and neck issues. Every time I have a massage by Ray, I leave feeling like a new person. He is the best and applies pressure according to your tolerance level. He is really sweet too.
Got one of the best styles of my life from Ashley! She took time to understand my curly hair routine and style preferences before giving me the PERFECT stacked bob! Relaxing atmosphere and friendly service. Thank you to the other curly girls for recommending Ashley!
I have been going to Asha for years. My stylist Ashley is such a warm and friendly person, and I trust her 100% to cut my very curly hair. Each visit to Asha is a luxurious treat, a little escape from the day-to-day.
I have had 3 different stylists over the period of about 10 years. Only due to the fact that they become stay at home mommies. Cassandra, Drea and Julia have all consistently cut my hair the same. I have loved all of them! The training they get lets me relax and know that these lovely ladies have control of my massive curly hair. I will never go anywhere else. And CONGRATS on your promotion Julia, you deserve it!!!!!
I cant speak on all of the salon, as I havent used all of their services. Yet! :P But I did go in for a trim/shape, Katelynd was my stylist and she did a great job! I told her I just wanted to trim the split ends, add long layers, and give it a nice round shape. She did all of that perfectly, she massaged my she didnt cut too much off! She framed my face perfectly, I was all around a very happy customer. Not only will I be back in, but I think Im going to take my oldest daughter to her as well.
They offer a lot of things for a spa. But their pricing really has to be looked at by management much better than what it is. Girls are straight out of school getting jobs there and theyre getting ridiculous prices for haircuts. I remember when you would go and they would come around and give you a hand massage or offer you water or a magazine and they dont do that anymore unless you ask. Dont feel like I should ask if Im paying almost $60 for a haircut quality of their showers when having a massage you dont want to go in the robes look very used and the shower really needs to be replaced theres a lot of line scale buildup and the cleanliness is not the best if you look around on the walls and the floor. And a lot of times they dont even have theyre shampoo and cream rinse and the showers.

This place is definitely not worth the money. I came in for an hour and a half massage on my birthday, and was sadly disappointed. I’ve had many massages before, and expect a relaxing,spa experience when I go. The girl who performed my massage smelled horribly of cigarette smoke, and used an extremely noisy stool which she sat on and rolled around the floor as she moved to different areas of my body instead of standing and walking. A customer should never ever be able to smell cigarettes on their masseuse, that’s just plain disgusting. I couldn’t wait for that massage to finish. The best part of my experience was the shower! Happy Birthday to me. From now on I will be spending my money at Weis Morris or Tiffany Richards Massage. Much more pleasant experiences there, and the prices are better.
It was honestly pretty expensive for what I got. I received partial highlights and a trim and it was $180. I really didnt notice a difference in the length of my hair which made me think it was not worth it. Both girls did a very nice job and were very personable.
Ive been seeing Ashley for my hair for years and she does such a great job with dealing my difficult curly when it wants to be hair! I like the same cut almost every time but even when I want to take a little risk, she does it so well.
I recently came to Asha seeing Prattana as my stylist. She is friendly, welcoming and a very talented hair stylist who gave me the look I wanted with confidence. I love the fact that she started my session with a warm neck pillow, scalp and hair massage and some Aveda tea to relax my mind. I like the atmosphere at Asha. Its a great place to end a stressful day.

Had an AMAZING cut and color today by Angi. Yes, it is expensive, but you get what you pay for! An Invigorating scalp massage during the shampoo, a warm heavy towel on your head for a few minutes, a hand massage, and a professional cut and color that you could only get inner-city! Will definitely be back!

I have been going to Asha Salon for several years everyone their is nice and accommodating.Prattana my hair stylist is the absolute best stylist I have ever had.I am 60 yrs old so that says alot..lol..Her work is consistent and perfect everytime.I will never go anywhere else to get my hair done. I can always count on her to make me feel fabulous. Thankyou Asha for finding Prattana. And Thankyou Prattana for being the best. ❤
I’ve been to Asha a few times now and my stylist is Prattana. She’s the best! She’s so friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure I leave her chair happy. She listens to what I want done and she is great about giving helpful tips or suggestions when I’m not sure about something. She also does a great job of making sure I’m comfortable and well-taken care of. She started out by bringing me a warm neck pillow and lemon water to help me relax. I was then treated to a head massage when she shampooed my hair, then my head was wrapped in a warm towel. Prattana is also an excellent stylist and I’m always pleased with the results. I highly recommend Asha Salonspa and Prattana as a stylist!

My color, cut and nails were done exactly how I requested. All the staff was very nice. My stylist was also helpful in recommending places near by since Im new to the area. The receptionist also helped by looking up my Pure Privilege rewards number. My only suggestion would be to clean the color station chairs. The one I had was stained badly.
Asha is the absolute worst! The employees, including management, are petty, childish, unprofessional hacks. The minute you walk out the door after spending $100+, they talk bad about you. I heard comments about how a customer tips, a customers weight, about other staff there. It is 2018 ladies, you should be empowering other women, not tearing them down. There are some wonderful salons in Rockford. This, however, is not one of them. Go elsewhere.
I am very disappointed - I went just recently and had a pedicure done. My boyfriend had gotten me a Gift certificate last year for Christmas and I wanted to use it. Ive enjoyed other experiences I have had at Asha before, but not this time. To my Surprise, I ended up contracting a Toenail fungus which I now have to get treated. You would think that a Salon with such a Wonderful reputation would be a little more conscious, experienced and well educated on the proper cleaning techniques that kill harmful bacteria. So many people frequent Salons to enjoy a time of relaxation, to pamper themselves with no worries, to be carefree. You would not ever think twice about catching a Fungus from a well renown establishment from not taking the proper precautions to disinfect properly. So sad!
I went into asha for an updo and makeup on prom day. I think the lady doing my hair was Jen. I told the lady multiple times I didnt like some of the things she was doing the hair was just looking too dramatic for me. After telling her each time she wouldnt listen and would continue and after awhile I told her again and she finally stopped. She then checked the time and told me she could either fix it or do my makeup but she didnt have time for both. And on top of that she was being rude telling me my hair is short and thats what she had to work with. After she tried another hairstyle that I didnt like I then asked for another stylist. I ended up just going with curls after seeing all the undoes were just not working. I wouldnt normally try an updo but the lady was telling me it was definitely long enough but I guess not. After the crazy hair experience I decided to not get my makeup done there. I am definitely not going back.
I am always greeted warmly, have a wonderful shampoo and conditioning, and Katelyn gives an awesome cut. I always receive compliments after I have my haircut by her. Totally appreciate the experience.
For facials and waxing see Sierra! She is professional, fun and my skin has never looked better (I have rosacea & sensitive skin) . She is a little more expensive because of her skill level but she is worth every single penny!
Would say stay away. I showed 2 pictures of the hair color I wanted to achieve while making my appointment and asked how much it would cost. I was told 115.00. Ive never spent that much and expected great results. At my appointment Kaleigh starts brushing my hair and tells me it is going to take a 2nd appointment. I was thinking another 115 dollars, but felt embarrassed to say Im to poor to spend this kind of money. To sum it up. She finished and I could barely see a slight color change. After having to tell people I had my hair done because no one could tell, I decided to complain. She said I told you this was going to take multiple applications. I said Im not going to spend hundreds of dollars to achieve what I should have gotten in 1 session. I could of seen better results spending 4 dollars and doing it at home. I didnt want money back, I just wanted my hair fixed. I was told they arent responsible for my color washing out. Are you kidding me? 115 not finished and it washes out. I have, before, after and look at me now pictures and it barely looks any different. Also paid for my mother to get her hair done. Shes a senior and wanted her to feel pretty about herself for the holidays. She asked for golden red tones with blonde highlights and came out looking gray and older then when she went in. Sad to say my total bill was 325.00 and they wont do anything to fix it. Its my fault because she told me Another session. I was a sucker once not again. Spent another 80 and got starter facial kits the girl told me all they had was for oily to normal skin (we have dry) she said it didnt matter their products are all the same. I used it 3 times and started drying all out. I called Aveda and they let me know I had been deceived again. They did allow me to return it but would not take responsibility for it. Making excuses instead of just appoligizing for their mistake.
The environment is extremely relaxing because of the service, music and the aroma. The person who cuts your hair or does your nails is also not answering the phone. This leads to timely appointments without having your haircut interrupted while they run to check the phone.
I really enjoyed the facial but am never getting a facial again. I haven’t broken out this bad since middle school. My skin has been clear for 2 years and it took so much work to get it that way and now its the worst it’s ever been. The facial was relaxing but I promise you I won’t go back for a facial. I’ve been breaking out awful for 2 weeks and it’s not showing signs of stopping.

I was very disappointed in my services. I went in for a color, cut, and eye brow wax. I was wanting to go lighter in hair color and was told that wasnt possible. Another stylist offered an opinion and I said ok. Then when the original stylist came back, she was going to attempt my original idea. This was after I agreed to the more experienced stylists idea. Needless to say, I walked away with NO color and only a trim done because if they couldnt color my hair, I wasnt trusting them to anything more than a trim and I wasnt going to have them wax anything. Every salon I have ever been to would help you get what you came in for, even if it wasnt 100% what you originally wanted. A color would have been fine, even if it wasnt the color I wanted to begin with. I will never step foot into that building again. I have a gift card that will be given to a family member. I will find someone willing to help me and get me what I am looking for. My experience here ruined my one and only day off.

I would highly recommend Prattana as your choice for hairstylist. Prattana is very meticulous about ensuring you are happy with your haircut and style. I have been choosing Prattana as my choice for hairstylist for sometime. She is always very kind and fun to talk with. I have changed my hairstyle from blond to red, from long to short, and from curly to straight. I always know that I can get my hair exactly like I want it when I see Prattana. I have walked in with photographs and have been so excited to see how she transforms my hair to that precise look. Prattana never rushes through your appointment or pushes product on you to purchase. She is honest and straight forward. Prattana is always willing to take the extra step to make you feel comfortable and happy while in her care. She is very talented and knowledgeable about hair. When you come back to visit her you will feel like you are visiting a friend everytime. Choose Prattana when visiting the Asha Salon in Rockford and you will not be sorry.
I am a spa club member at Asha and go monthly for massages. I cant say enough good about this place! The girls are all so attentive and sweet. I get mani/Pedis and haircuts in addition to my massage! When I get a haircut, Marilu spoils me with a hand massage while my hair is receiving a deep conditioning treatment! Shes the best and always listens to me and delivers what I want! Im very happy with Asha!!
Shari at Asha is amazing. If you have chronic sinus problems, have a massage with Shari and she will fix them. My head hasnt feel this great in a long time. She explained that it is my adrenal gland and not my sinuses that are the problem. She made suggestions for me when I am at home. I will be back soon to have a 60 min massage with Shari.
Nadia is amazing! I have thick long hair and i am often times left with damp hair because the sylist gets tired or impatient. Nadia makes sure to do it right every time. I love having long hair so i get very nervous it will be cut too short. Nadia starts small and goes shorter if i am comfortable. Other sylists get annoyed or seem bothered to go back and shorten it up, but she doesnt. Small things that make a BIG difference to someone with a thick long mane. 💁🏽♀️

I am 37 weeks pregnant and I got the prenatal massage, the place was clean staff was very welcoming, the massage therapist Tasha knew just exactly how much pressure it needs I love this place will definitely go back, it is pricey but its totally worth it because you pay for what you get and what I got was just perfect

Just ok. Not very enthusiastic about doing my nails. I was a walk in . No other customers getting nails done but left me sitting to let my nails dry. She never asked any questions about me at all. You need to connect with people if you want their business.

I love Aveda. Have used for years. Apparently I do not look like Aveda clientele when I walked into the salon. I stood looking at products for 10 minutes and was not even glanced at . I then wondered over to the make up and thought I would look at the pressed powder. Finally someone came over and told me to try whatever I wanted. Then had to then hunt down sponges. I was not even offred a opinion let alone information on the product. I finally just choose two lip products, enough to use up my gift card. I was prepared to stock up but decided against it.
I recently had a french manicure and pedicure at the salon. The technician was very nice, but the quality of the service did not match the price. $80 got me a mani/pedi that lasted 3 hours before all the polish flaked off. Go somewhere else if you want a good mani/pedi that survives more than a couple hours.

Mani/pediI went in for a manicure (no chip) and a pedicure. First it took 2.5 hours. It has never taken that long before for other places. Then when I got home one of my nail completely pealed off. Then 2 weeks later the no chip all came off. The bench for the pedicure was also very uncomfortable. I wouldnt recommend going.
Wasnt asked crucial questions before massage and wasnt told how much it would cost until last minute in robe when I asked for the third time...
This place is EXPENSIVE! the atmosphere is nice and all but... A couples massage was $95 for an hour and they charge an extra $30 for the couples room... $220 for an hour! Totally not worth all the money. In Lake geneva you can get an all day spa for $70 including the mud bath. Not wasting money on this outragrously expensive place!!! Theres way cheaper places for the same experience...
I simply ADORE the rainfall stream shower. I always enjoy visiting Asha. Great service and the atmosphere is perfect. It is a bit pricey, but expected for the services.

2022-04-21Megan, the owner or head manager, has been beyond helpful with assisting me for my wedding. Melissa is my hair stylist and Drea is my makeup artist. My trials with each went very well - good listeners and understood my vision.

2022-07-14Its always a nice relaxing time at Asha. My facial was amazing, the massage was very relaxing and its the only place Ill go for a Mani/Pedi. The workers are always very accommodating and I love the tea they serve. That hot neck pillow they offer with any service is so nice. You cannot help but feel relaxed and rejuvenated here.

2022-04-24No chip manicure was poorly done. Asked if I could come in the next day to get just regular color put on the bad areas on my thumbs to cover up the spots. I could not wait for an appt at their convenience sometime in the week. They were going to charge me for a bottle of nail polish. Really? The receptionist started in with the long explanation of why. I said forget it. Seriously bad customer service experience. I have been to Asha several times before and am extremely disappointed.

2022-02-24My husband and I had a couples massage that was given to us as a wedding gift. The masseuses who did our massages were also a married couple. The massages were WONDERFUL - so relaxing - and we adored the couple who did our massages! We will definitely be back!!

2018-06-14The massages are wonderful. The service is sweet. Had a wonderful technician for a no chip polish French manicure. Seemed a bit pricey. They did do a repair at the sixth day because it had started to come up. Im just shy of two weeks and here are photos to show but it wore good and I did like the way it looked.

2021-09-06Clean, calm atmosphere. A wonderful environment to get a needed haircut, manicure, or pedicure after a busy day at work. Im really glad I became a Spa Club member because it ensures I will visit at least once a month. This has turned out to have greater than expected impact on my stress levels. Spa Club has also expanded my comfort zone when I try things beyond my usual because they are options on the club menu of services.

2022-06-29Love this place the staff is friendly and well trained, managementis great from what the employees say.... its pricey but you know what they say.... cheep sex isnt good and good sex isnt cheap!
