This place is definitely not going to last. Waited nearly 3 hours for a drug test!! Are you serious?? I was one of the only people waiting in the lobby, WHAT TAKES SO LONG? Front desk employees were not welcoming or nice whatsoever. This place really needs to hire new people.
My family and i have used this location for about a year now and although the wait can be long its been great. I see all these negative comments for Potti which weve always seen and we love her. Her be side manner is great and weve never had a problem with her not diagnosing us properly.
I am not sure why this place is in business. Prior to tests and during the tests staff was okay. However, it took me months of calling to get the results. The bill was done incorrectly. I left messages and did not receive a call backs. Bill was send to collections even though I talked to someone about it being done incorrectly. Then, I had to start calling someone at a main billing number. Finally, they took the bill of collections and were supposed to send me a new one. This has being going on for almost a year. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else.
I had made an appointment with Dr. Jennifer Paschos regarding some serious physical symptoms I was experiencing. I had explained to her of my past illnesses, and asked her if I could get a full blood workup in case anything was missed. She dismissed any of my concerns, and told me that I need to see a psychiatrist because of my vague symptoms. It turns out that I was suffering from a severe vitamin deficiency which was causing my symptoms. Very arrogant, irresponsible, and lack of empathy. Avoid her at all costs.
So... I have slightly high blood pressure normally, but dont take anything for it. Yesterday, I had a huge spike in blood pressure and got worried. I called several immediate care centers and doctors offices today to try to get in to talk to a doctor. I didnt want to go to an ER because I dont want to clog it up for real emergencies. When I called this place, I was put on hold and then finally got an answering machine!!!! Immediate Care.... I dont think so!!!
Do not go here!Went in after a car accident. Was there for several hours.Doctor would not listen to my concerns. I know my body & what I need. I explained this & was dismissed & told to take some asprin.Currently in an astronomical amount of pain. Since its Friday I can either go to the ER or wait in pain till Monday.
I would think twice going to immediate care, you might get misdiagnosed like I did.Got sent to ER because the PA there said it was my appendix even though I told her I had no symptoms whatsoever. She said sometimes there are none. Went to ER waited 3hrs. Had a scan, very costly mind you. No appendix issue. Just a menopause issue.
We went to Amita Immediate Care after my son got sick, the staff was okay, but once we saw doctor on training Gurmuk Singh (Spelling?), he was wonderful, what an amazing provider. He made my son feel great, my son was laughing and smiling throughout his examination. And he was so wonderful even explaining everything to me in detail. My son was back to normal in no time after taking the medication. I would recommend this provider to everyone. Thank you for making my lil teddy bear feel great again!!!!!
Dee was very kind in her assistance this morning helping to get my records transferred as I have recently moved. I have a patient there for quite a while and was surprised at some of the comments. The front desk staff (entrance) always see fed uninterested so I agree there but that was two years ago. I’ve always had good experiences with the Medical and Nursing staff. Would recommend.
I needed to find a new doctor quick, and this one was close to home so gave it a try.Check in process was quick and easy despite me being 3 minutes late AND being a new patient.I waited less than 10 minutes before a nurse called me in! Which is super exciting because at my old doctor I would have to wait 2 hours before being called in despite me having an appointment.Dr Matthew listened to all my concerns and took her time in getting to know me. She recommended lab work but didn’t force me to schedule a follow up. All in all she definitely made me feel comfortable and was able to explain things throughly. I came out of there feeling like I received exactly what I needed in terms of attention, medication, and lab orders. And the best part was that even though she took her time talking with me, the whole process only took exactly one hour! She’s a keeper. This will definitely be my primary doctor moving forward!
Ive never had any of the issues these other reviewers are stating. Ive been to see Dr. Gina Matthew a number of times and Ive always been taken right on time, even with an insurance change or as a new patient.Dr. Matthew and the Nurses Ive been a patient of have been incredibly friendly / helpful. Thank you guys.
All but an older gentleman were Very Rude upon coming in... Checked in at 2:15 and here I am 5:41 sitting in a room... nobody has checked on me, offered me water... Nothing!Outside the Room is Quiet!!!I actually heard someone say... Where is Everybody??Good question I am wondering the same thing!!Nurse had 0 personality... Dr. was okay just not so personable.... X-ray tech was awesome... the only person to acknowledge my wait and actually apologized for it. She was the ONLY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS OFFICE!!!Corporate needs to Clean House!
Joy had me go get 2 different things 2 separate times. While trying to get a drug screening for a job which took 2 hours to get in with not many people there. They then tell me I needed an adult after coming from getting their signature they only told me I needed a signature and id be fine. Terrible experience up front but people in back had me out in under 10 minutes
I came to this clinic to get a drug test for my job. I arrived at 3:30pm the lady in the front desk with blonde hair that speaks Spanish didnt tell where to write my name. Time past by 1 hr later I asked her if there going to call me in. The lady didnt even tell me what clip board to write my name on so I asked the other lady who was in the front desk and she told me that no one put me in the system. So another 40 min later they finally called me in. People like this should not be working there if there not going to help out and just go to work for a check. Been here since 3:30pm left 5:35pm unacceptable
This place is a joke! The woman at the front desk didnt greet us when we walked in, just sat at the computer for about 15 seconds then said something. Same woman at the front desk; we asked a question so she went in back, when she came back out she started helping a sales rep instead of answering our question!Horrible! We left and went to a different urgent care.
Might want to tell your receptionists to not argue in front of a lobby full of patients.I had the WORST experience from the moment I walked in. No one at the front desk, and when the nurse finally showed up she had her phone in her face and didn’t acknowledge me. 25 minutes later, a woman called me to the desk to answer questions which should not have been open for everyone to hear. While dealing with me (rudely) she was talking to other patients and answering the phone. When the nurse (same one as before) took me in, she was the most miserable person i’ve ever met. Giving me attitude with every answer i gave her. I went in for a problem with my knee. I told her it was swelling up on me. The answer I got was, “and where do you see swelling”The only reason i went to this dump is because The elmhurst immediate care was closed. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the next place that gets shut down.
Did not pick up the phone when we called. I got hung up on the first time, the second time we got hung up on again the third time calling we got stuck on hold for 20 minutes. When we drove 35 minutes because our insurance said they took our insurance and they werent picking up, we got there to find the waiting room empty so there was no reason they couldnt have picked up the phone. We got there for them to tell us that contrary to our insurance, they did not accept our insurance. Which a phone call would have taken care of, which they did not do three times.
I went to the Amita health on Lake Street in AddisonThey told me it was a 2 hour wait. I said can I come back ? I was sick and didn’t want to sit there with other sick people for 2 hours. They told me NO!That is unacceptable! What is the difference if I sit there or at home. Bad business!I wouldn’t recommend this place!
Got a physical done for a practicum. Doctors almost wouldn’t give me the results of my own physical because the results were supposed to be sent to the HR lady at my practicum site. I am not under 18, and I should be allowed to see the results of my own physical. They are also extremely slow, unorganized, and fairly rude.
My problem was not the wait for immediate care. Was the service and the way I was treated. A woman named O. Alami (assistant) . She was rude, disrespectful and condescending. She wouldn’t even listen to the reason a came to that place. She wanted to give me cough medicine. I insisted that I had fever the night before, and I was very congested.she finally prescribed an antibiotic, and she said to me : whatever you want to take, she just didn’t care for my well-being. And for her a 97 degree fever was not high. I said to her, for someone of my age , it is. And I felt sick, otherwise I would just buy cough medicine at the pharmacy myself. She has the wrong attitude .
They have the worst customer service. You’ll be waiting over an hour for a physical & they retort every question with “we’ll be right with you.” They spent the entire hour talking about what they were ordering for lunch, gossiping, they act like you’re nothing them with your questions

2020-07-24A week ago I accompanied a relative to the this clinic for some routine blood tests. As we were sitting there waiting for a LONG time (they should stagger their appointments so the elderly would not have to be in contact with other patients) but that was not the worst of it. A guy at the reception desk was coughing his brains out and pulling his mask off as he answered the phone. Has this clinic heard of the pandemic? Should a sick receptionist be there spreading his germs of whatever nature to spread throughout the clinic via the air conditioning system or simply spreading them as he is coughing with and without the mask. AVOID this clinic if you can. Unconscionable having a sick man man at the front desk!!!

2018-02-19What an absolutely terrible clinic.I went there in late November 2017 for a drug screening and physical check-up appointment for a potential new employer and sat in the waiting room for over an hour after registering with the receptionist.I also waited in the examination room for about 45 minutes for the physician to show up.So happy that I dont have to deal with this terrible clinic with my current insurance.0 / 5 stars.Seriously. Avoid at all costs.

2019-08-06Went in on August 8/6/19 for a drug screening for a new job opportunity. As we proceed the screening Luna one of the nurses was great, very professional after all testing was done. I waited approximately 30 mins until the so called physician shows up forgot her name but she was wearing yellow button up shirt with yellow dress pants she begins speaking to me in a very non professional tone, basically speaking to me like someone off the street. We begin talking and out of nowhere she’s states where do you guys even find these jobs, she stated this because I am Hispanic basically profilings me I answered back saying from a job posting from Indeed. Then she says soo if there was a job posting for selling drugs are you going to apply as well. After this nonsense that came out of her mouth I walk out of this facility, She states that she is going to call the company that I am applying for that I refused to take the drug screening which I clearly did not. First time coming to this clinic and will be my last. WORST customer service not happy.P.s my name is julio if you want to check the patient name history.

2018-08-16Extremely slow service.I arrived at 3:15pm and waited an hour and 15 minutes to see a Physicians assistant who asked me if I sing at work and suggested my cough, body aches, sore throat, headache, fever, running nose, loss of voice and extreme congestion was due to allergies.Better off self medicating versus wasting 2 hours of your day. I left with a bigger headache and a whole lot more frustration.

2018-01-20Dr Potti gets a one star review, she is the PA on staff for Urgent care visit. I started going to this location about five years ago ( I was 18 at the time) and at that time I had a very odd case of a swollen throat and was awfully fatigued. I saw Dr Potti after waiting over an hour and she quickly diagnosed me with strep throat. Not thinking much into it since I have had a few cases of strep throat when I was a pediatric patient, I proceeded to take the antibiotics she prescribed. A week passed and my throat was not getting better and my fatigue was worsening. I went on a job interview on Friday February 8th 2013 and immediately went to the ER after my visit and they finally diagnosed me with mono! Doctors are human and can make mistakes too right, totally understandable.Fast foward another year later, my mother went in with an odd rash on her legs and arms. My mother again saw Dr Potti and she was quick to tell her that she had Scabies. However, after taking the prescribed scabicide , she did not heal from the rash. Later to find out she was suffering from the stresses of work and the hives faded away over time. Now on October 20th of 2017, I again returned to Urgent care was again confronted with Dr Potti and this time I came with ongoing stomach issues and nausea that dated back to Oct 2nd with a bad meal. Instead of focusing on my stomach during the visit, she was quick to diagnose me with anxiety and recommended I see a Psychologist. This was not good since now every visit I have had with this group after seeing Dr Potti has been focused on suffering through anxiety, causing everyone to completely ignore my nausea that I was experiencingNot happy with the diagnoses of anxiety, I decided to listen anyways and went to see a psychologist for about 5 visits. She ruled out any anxiety disorder, however, left the door open for future visits.Today is January 20th of 2018 and after seeing two GI doctors, a psychologist, and a new primary care group (Dupage Medical Group) we finally found out that I have had a parasite that has been causing my nausea and I have lost over 22 pounds running around trying to get a diagnoses ( starting weight was 148 back in Oct, now sitting at 126).Thats not the worst part. Since Dr Potti was convinced that I had anxiety, my primary care doctor gave me a prescription of Librium which is a Benzodiazepine which is highly addictive. My primary care doctor explained that Librium would be a duo medication that would help my nausea and also help with anxiety. My primary care did not emphasize how addictive Benzodiazepines can become especially if you have never suffered from extreme anxiety. Now I am experiencing withdrawal from the medication as I have stopped taking it due to the diagnoses of the parasite, which is now eliminated. Now I have to take Hydroxyzine for anxiety since the withdrawals from Librium are killing my quality of life. I have never had panic attacks in my life and have suffered three within the last week from the withdrawals of librium. Everyday has been an improvement and now that my parasite has been treated, my nausea has ceased, but now I am suffering through anxiety.Stay away from this group as a whole, Dupage Medical Group is a great program and they are not so quick to diagnose you. After three cases of misdiagnoses from myself and my mother. I will never return and highly recommend to look for another medical group if you are considering visiting this location.

2016-07-02Went in on a Friday night during my work shift. Was told to stretch and move my back thats giving me issues, woke up the next morning in worse back spasms. Went back in and they told me the opposite with a new Dr o had to see.To top it all off they charged me my Co pay at night than charged again 13 hrs later when they first opened for the same issue.Would be nice to feel welcome, instead of rushed when patients have an issue take time to listen. Also saying that I should get used to the side effects of tramadol is a joke. Its apparently addictive so I would prefer to use as recommended but a blinding headache and being unable to sleep at night while feeling a tightness in my throat and chest is no joke.Guess this is where America is going with the new medical laws. Would have been nice to get some relief instead of mixed information. For the cost of my 2 Co pays I should have just gone to the ER.
