I had questions on replacing an entry door for my garage, salesperson was helpful in what was needed. Something you dont get at the big box stores.
Large selection in a small store and the employees are always eager to help. They always have what your looking for. A bit pricey but well worth it for the service.

Went to several other big box stores and they didnt carry 20 long boards. should have stopped here first and saved myself the time.

2022-03-06Great place to get all of your home supplies. Plus if you are a contractor and need help with larger orders., These people will help you out they are so pleasant and know their business. If you want to get quality products and be treated like you are the most important person in the store, please stop at anchor lumber!

2021-10-03My husband and I had the most wonderful shopping experience at Anchor Lumber this weekend! As first time shoppers, we were absolutely blown away by the phenomenal customer service we received. We can’t stop talking about what a great experience we had and can’t wait to go back! The gentleman in the wood department was especially helpful. As someone who had never shopped for wood before, he was very patient and understanding. He listened to what we were looking for, went above and beyond to explain the difference in products, and cut the wood we needed perfectly. It was the smoothest, easiest shopping experience ever! You cannot find this type of service, product, or prices at a box store. I’m going to tell everyone I know to shop at Anchor!!!

I have been a customer for many years and appreciate the service oriented business which is unheard of in this day and age.

2020-08-14Ive been coming here for decades. Nice mid-size store and lumber yard. Not as big of a selection as Menards, Lowes, Home Depot. Still, they have a good selection of hardware, tools, plumbing supplies, lumber, etc.. that the average person might need. They rent tools, have some bath fixtures, have a design dept, and more.They have very good lumber. Much higher quality wood than places like Menards; straighter, fewer knots, etc... The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. They are popular with contractors.
