ALDI in other cities:
I went to this Aldi and was very impressed when they reopened it last year. Things were fresh as far as veggies and meats go. But havent been there for awhile, and was very disappointed to see lack of proper refrigeration for chicken just left in a cart in the front of the store to go bad. If they just restock this after it has been sitting for God-knows-how-long in a cart, people could get salmonella poisoning. It is sad to see this store falling into bad quality control practices.
Ive been an ALDI shopper from the late-80s to date after being introduced to the store by a good friend. Only once, made a bad purchase for someone that I had to return, it was simple & quick with no problems at all... thats a very good thing. Really enjoy the ad paper in the store and how you change often to introduce new product frequently while keeping a good Supply of the everyday favorites & necessities.Im an older person that does not eat beef and pork there was a time when Smoked Turkey Legs, Turkey Hams, large baged Greens (Mustard & Collards) was available year round... now, not at all, can ALDI please put these items back in the stores and perhaps add more turkey products to your lineup so I dont have to hunt at other stores for that I prefer to shop at one store for all I need an go home. Its not only the most convenient, but, these days its far a less dangerous outing too.Thank you so much for this opportunity to voice an opinion. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give a 9.L. Brown
Love this aldi So clean everything always so fresh. Claudia helped me out she was super helpful definitely put a smile on my face. You can tell she loves helping her customers she answered all my questions and took me to find the things I needed. love going to this location now. They need More employees like her in all grocery stores definitely makes the experience better. Nice employees happy customers .🙂
I love the improvement for this place. It does feel weird walking in at first since you are used to the old ALDI, but now it feels a bit more lively. The downside is that if you look up in the ceiling, and take into consideration that the ceiling is black, it might feel like youre somewhat getting lost in the store, or that you are in a place you shouldnt be in.New wine rack? That sounds interesting too.
I like Aldi because they have good quality products for lower prices then high end stores. The freshness of their produce is the best. They also offer seasonal products and at a bargain price than their competitors. The place is inviting and most of the time clean and the merchandise is organize! Fast checkout and the cashiers are nice. I always do my shopping at Aldi.
Driving to work and needed some fruit so I didnt intend to stop in all these but I did. I found everything that I needed at a great price. Cherries were only $1.49/ pound - they werent super sweet but they hit the spot. It was clean and organize and I got in and out fast.
Several well known or name brand companies sell items here under a different name so they can still it for cheaper. Low overhead means the cashier may also be the stacker so be nice to them. I only have them 4 stars because they were out of an item I went there to purchase.
This isnt the Aldi of my childhood. They take credit cards now. They have name brands now. Its bright and airy and the aisles are huge. A few things are the same, though. Theres still only one ketchup. Want more? Buy two. The wine is still $2.95 but you have eight choices now instead of just red or white. You still need a quarter for the cart.
Last Saturday I was being rude treated for the visit. A lot of people standing in line to wait to get in store. I asked the women who did the arrangement at the front door that “if only one in and one out”. She said yes. Later on, when I got in the store, the security guard came to me said if I said one more thing to the front lady I will be kicked out of the store. I was confused and shock. She said I was not allowed to talk to the front lady like that. I explained to her that I just asked a simple question. What did I do wrong? When I got out the door , I asked the front lady why. The security guard came to me again and said she was going to arrest me and showed the handcuffs. I was shock again and scared, I felt like being threatened and assaulted. This is not acceptable that Aldi employee treats customer like that. It was so wrong. I will not recommend people to shop this store and will continue share my horrible experience.
Ive been doing my weekly grocery shopping almost exclusively at this Aldi location for several months now. Rarely have they been out of stock of an item I usually buy, the store is always clean, parking is convenient, and every time Ive come to the register and found a long line, another register has opened up almost immediately.
I was never a huge fan of Aldi, but I gotta say things really changed over the years...The quality has come way up... Im very impressed at how good some of the deli style meats/sausages are.. Great place when its bbq season and you need to entertain guests.. My guests always ask where do you shop and compliment about the food being very tasty, almost always they dont beleive its Aldi...
Prices are lower than most grocery stores. Some organic meat and produce. Great selection of unusual specialty items - chocolates, nuts, frozen hors de oeuvres. Lots of staples like canned goods and boxed foods at low prices. Many non-food items like toys and gifts and kitchenware.
YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR EMPLOYEES TO BE MORE CAREFUL WITH PRODUCE AT CHECKOUT WENT IN ON 3/25 AT 11AM NO ONE BEHIND ME IN LINE AND JACK THE CASHIER!THINKS IS A GREAT IDEA TO TOSS AND DROp MY BANANAS AVOCADOAS AND EGGS INTO THE CART!!! REALLY!!!! WENT I MENTION TO HIM HE DIDNT EVEN APOLOGIZE RIDICULOUS!!!! VERY UPSETTING SPECIALLY WITH EVERYTHING GOING ON HE NEEDS TO BE MORE GENTLE!!!!!!!!!

2022-06-12Since the pandemic prices have gone through the roof even at Aldis 10, 20 ,30 cents to 2 to 3 dollars higher. You barely find any meat heaven forbid you want some chicken you wont find it at Aldis .How do they justify this???I could go to Hispanic super market down the street and the shelves are full. The butcher shop is full the coolers are full of chicken breast, legs, thighs boneless, skinless, pork chops, ribs ,pork steaks, lamb chops and beef of all cuts. WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON????

2021-09-10This location is fantastic. Always clean. Always organized. Produce always fresh and on point. Flowers are always in stellar condition and last a very long time (3 weeks!). This location, and the one on 63rd and Western, are my two favorite spots. The staff are great too. Very helpful, respectful and kind. This location has a huge selection of vegan and organic products as well. If you’re health conscious, this is your spot!

2016-10-31Its got all of the fancy foods that super stores have, without the price. I was able to make mushroom and spinach Florentine for 8 people (and a little for the next days lunch) for under 10$.
