My favorite Aldi in the area. Always clean & stocked. And I just recently realized that they carry the same brands as Costco (I already knew about Trader Joes) Many arent aware that their meat is great. Ive purchased chicken and beef from pricer, more ....popular...stores and the quality has been been the same but more often lesser than Aldi. Kid you not. I havent been an Aldi shopper for long but Im one permanently now.
Used to be a 4...now a 2. Place has gone downhill since old manager left. Empty shelves, dirty, disorganized...the staff is always nice and helpful, but they cant make products materialize out of thin air. Disappointed.
Great prices and nice selection. Bring your own bags though because you do have to pay for them. But other than that it is a great place to shop.
Clean well stocked and always good prices. Just as an aside, after shopping here I was driving home and found I didnt have my phone when I went back to Aldis some nice lady found my phone and gave it to the cashier. When I came back to the store my phone was waiting for me. Whoever the Good Samaritan was thank you thank you thank you.
This is my go to Aldi. I love the strawberry yogurt. Ive gotten it from other Aldi, but it doesnt taste the same...go figure. I know my way around this store. I like it, and would recommend it.

Went in this past weekend. 5-16-2020.20 minutes before closing and the security guard did not let me get a cart. She said it was because they were about to close. I had to carry all my things. I had my own bags so I used them to shop which became very heavy and difficult. She, the guard, then gets a cart and begins to shop. So while I am walking out, two new customers walk in with shopping carts, 2 minutes before they close. Since she was too busy shopping for herself she wasn’t there to tell them they were closing and the new rule that they are not allowed to get a shopping cart. When I go to my car the guard comes out to with her shopping cart to put her groceries in her car. I’m over here squishing my bread, balancing my bags on my shoulders while trying to reach for things and she’s walking around shopping comfortably with her cart while in the clock. Disgusting.
I love Aldi. But the prices have become outrageous. Its almost like shopping at Jewel. But you cant beat the fresh foods so I have to pay the price.
Still better than big stores but seems prices are on some things much higher..shelves kinda bare and the one I went to never has the goodies/merchandise in stock...was disappointed when I went to look. But all in all Aldi is where I go and will continue to do so

Its new! Its clean! Not super big, but offers plenty of variety for grocery shoppers and more. The employees & cashiers were super friendly and helpful. Only prob I had with it was that the checkout lines were too long with only two lanes open. But as I said, theyre new, so perhaps they dont have enough employees yet.
The store is very clean, and everything is easy to find, friendly staff as well. The only one problem I had, but even then it wasnt a big deal for me, was the fact that there were long lines at checkout and they usually only have one or two cashiers at the front. However that is not a deciding factor for me, and I will continue to do some quick grocery shopping at this location on a regular basis.
Im very happy. Ginger beer is back! Unfortunately, it is a seasonal item. On the serious side, I like this store location bc w/o having to ask they automatically open another line. I have NEVER had a long wait to pay for my goods. Great store manager whomever you are 😇
You could never go wrong with a trip to aldi, I stay close to this location so Im there a few times a week. Great prices as always and very good customer service.
While I enjoy going to this particular store in Blue Island. I went their yesterday evening and was disappointed that the cashier requested customers to swipe their debit or credit cards before ringing up all of the groceries. I didn’t feel valued as a customer and I’m sure others didn’t as well.
This is the Aldi I always go to. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They immediately open another lane when line gets long. The items advertised in the sales paper are always available. (Updated: This Fall they renovated the entire store. I have to get used to new layout but it is brighter and more inviting. )

I have gone to certain Aldis and theyve had stock all in the middle of the Isles where you had to walk around . But this one was nice and clean I also the Isles were free of any stock. When I get in line there was two lanes open and when the lines start to become loan another young lady came and open the third line which I really appreciate it so they get you in and out in a timely manner.😊😊😊
A lot of their items are priced much higher than other grocery stores in the area. Their vanilla extract was 3 dollars more than Wal-Mart , Strack and Van Til , Family Dollar , Food for less and Dollar General . Not to mention I was unable to locate an item listed in their weekly ad. When I saw an employee I tried asking her where the item was. Without even stopping or looking at me she replied if you dont see it then were out and kept walking past me. Well after that I wont spend my $ here again ! Very very rude and unprofessional staff!
Plenty of parking. Inside is clean and the cashier is always polite and speedy. I wish though that the store would carry more food items and less dollar store goodies so I can do all my food shopping in one place. Food reasonably priced.
Its a very clean store. I come here often because they are not like many Aldi. They carry a lot of newer items that I use often. I love it.
Today I arrived at the Blue Island location and was not allowed in the store at 6:50 pm. I was told that no one else could come in because the employees had to be out of the building by 7 pm. I don’t believe that and to make matters worse, an officer came after I did and the security guard let him in. I will not be returning to this location again.
Great place to shop. Its clean, organized and the employees are friendly. The dont hesitate to open another register when the line gets backed up and always parking. The store was just remodeled too.

I can honestly say Aldi has helped my family in challenging times and the food quality is AMAZING! I had to drive outside my neighborhood for the zero-net carb bread but I appreciate Aldi having options like zero-carb bread. My family has and will be shopping at Aldi as often as possible.
They wear mask. Seem to be clean and orderly. Fast service. Friendly cashier. Customers must wear masks 😷. Alittle too crowded but Ive seem worse.
This is the first time Ive actually run into friendly employees, and Ive been to about 7 or 8 different Aldi stores. One lady went out of her way to assist me. Though your store is 6 miles from home and there are several stores closer, i will do my shopping at your western ave store from now on.
I love shopping at Aldi. It is small but laid out perfectly. I can find everything I need. And be in and out in 25 minutes. Btw the Ribeye steaks are out of this world. The Skirt steaks are great too. I bought chicken legs for $0.99 a pound not on sale today.
I like that this Aldi had less cart congestion than other ones, makes my shopping days less stressful.
You have to buy your own grocery bags And rent a buggy, when im sure Aldis can afford both.
This had to be one of the nicest locations. Everything was neat, organized and all of the staff I encountered seem to actually like their job. Its 10 minutes out of my way but I think this is my new go to location.
Clean, organized, and great customer serviceThey sell orangic and grass fed meats. Most of their brands tastes just as good if not better than the brand named products and groceries youll find at other food marker chains.
They are very friendly and helpful. I wanted to make a mexican dish and they were very helpful to show me what ingredients i needed for my dish.

This aldi has a wide variety of groceries, some nice craft beers and wines. They also sell home goods like blankets and other different things for your home.

Its clean and customer service was great, but it barely has any products.I frequent aldis on a weekly basis and stopped by this one for my grandmother and I was disappointed at the selections especially in a community that already has limited grocery options.
Was weird seeing security guards in an Aldi. Cashier was rather rude.

I grew up on Aldis and this place has changed! It used to be a place where you bought primarily canned goods. Now they offer organic food, fresh produce and even wine!!!

It has fresh produce. I mean its aldi. Lines are always long. And most workers have bad attitudes. That seems to be a common issue in every aldi I been to.

Advertising what they didnt have. Get there and change, its supposed to be a family pack and or its sugar free. Dont deliver what they say.
New renovations are nice but alot of shelves are empty. Too many items were discounted

2022-03-25This aldis was pretty nice, it was my first time there. They only had 1 item that I was looking for not in stock , so that was good. My only problem was that they had no plastic shopping bags only paper, thank goodness I brought my own bags. Its very difficult to carry heavy things in a paper bag. Other wise I would return to this aldis. Thank you.

2020-01-20Viva la Aldi! You used to think you had to sacrifice quality for price, but not at Aldi! This place has a sophisticated look with groceries at a reasonable price! Friendly service and an efficient express lane to not have to endure the long lines of big chain store like Walmart!

2022-02-28Always liked going to Aldi. Usually shop between here and Food4Less when I go grocery shopping. But there is an Aldi right down the street from me, so when I need something quick, its there. Only thing that gets frustrating is when they are constantly out of things Im looking for. Alfredo sauce and some soups are usually the items I have trouble finding there. Everything else about this store I still love though.

2022-04-01One of the best Aldis on the far south side. Only downfall is some of the Hispanic females will grab your empty cart, without offering you a quarter, and pretend to not speak English. They dont want to give you a quarter for your cart. On one occasion, I said since you dont speak English, Im going to call immigration. Immediately, her perfect English returned and so did a quarter from her pocket.
