Jose was my sales person he got me into something newer with more features without going up too much in payments. He is very good at what he was does and I appreciate it. He kept us entertained with movies and snacks, so if you guys want a new car come down here and see Jose. He is the best!!!
We called on a vehicle they said was available. Sticker price was $48000 which was with $1000 incentive from msrp of $49000. We filled out the papers for the credit, which credit score is very good! Jose called the next day and said the vehicle price changed and went up $4000 and wanted to know if we still wanted him to run the credit. We live 8hrs away and were going to fly out to be able to drive the vehicle home. He then said well if you come here we can negotiate the price. No way, not wasting my time on shady dealers. The price on the website is still the quoted price from the emails sent. After reading reviews, this isnt the first time they have done this and tried jacking the price up! I will take my 50k somewhere else!!
Jose was my salesperson. I came in with hopes of getting out of my Trax and into something a bit roomier. Jose was very personable, funny, and listened to all my needs in a vehicle. After a little bit of time he found the perfect vehicle for me and made negotiations quick and easy. Not to mention he was never pushy or aggressive. I can honestly say he provided the absolute best customer service I have ever had while purchasing a car. He also hooked me up with 2 tickets to the auto show and gave me $10 out of his own pocket to pay for my lunch as consolation to the fact that I did spend a considerable amount of time there. During down time while waiting he provided me with drinks, snacks, and a movie on his iPad while we waited. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this man, you can tell he really cares about his customers and the world could use more salesmen like him. If you’re ever in the market do yourself a favor, come here and ask for Jose if you want the best. Thank you Jose for everything!!!

I am at advantage Chevrolet due to my dodge journey stopping on me when I arrived there guys did not disappoint. Anthony who was salesman was very helpful I test drove a Chevy equinox and I shared I only had 500 dollars as a down payment. So Denzell jumped into action worked with the banks and called in some favors and now Im driving home with a great vehicle I even met the manager Kelvin who came over and ask me important question so they can help me best way they possibly can. I made an appointment online. They have the days and time highlighted on which days are available for appointments. I arrived and gave the check in clerk the coupons that was sent to me in the mail about complimentary thing they would do free to my car after my oil change is done. See that one of the perks you will get for getting service done at Hawk Chevrolet. After getting the paperwork done , the check in clerk explains everything to you and had me wait in the waiting area until my name is called for completion of work. Oh yeah another per I have is getting a free carwash fort life because I did buy my car from there. All in all my experience from Hawk Chevrolet was a 10.
We will tell all our friends and family about our great experience buying our new Chevy Traverse . Eddie Saucedo is an excellent salesperson , he went over all our different options and was extremely helpful. He explained all the features on our new vehicle , connected our phones to Bluetooth and even helped us set our favorite satellite radio stations . Some of the worst service we have ever experienced. Salesman and sales manager Jason Roberts lies straight to your face. We bought a warranty but when it came tome to take advantage of it everything was claimed to be not covered by the warranty. We drove the car for 20 miles and came back to change the battery when the service department pointed out all sorts of damage on the car which was never mentioned when we bought the car. Save yourself the headache and buy a reliable car like a Honda or Toyota.

So I came in to just look at new trucks and was immediately and pleasantly greeted by Jose. After taking me in his office and answering a few “wants and needs” questions he told me he had the perfect truck for me and WOW he was right!!! It’s a beautiful 2021 Chevy Silverado custom trail boss with a lift and Z71 package!!! TRUCK OF MY DREAMS!!! He got me a fair price and made the entire experience simple fast and most of all enjoyable. He has the largest snack stash I ever seen, an iPad to watch movies on while I waited and he had drinks NOT JUST WATER!!! I have bought many cars in my life but this was BY FAR the best experience!!! If you want the best salesman then be sure to ask for JOSE. 5 stars all around!!!
Very disappointed from the time i got there. Service people not very welcoming. Two hours for an Oil Change. They didnt reset the oil gauge nor top off any fluids. I was not paying 179.00 to find out what the engine light code was. It could have been a gas cap. I bought my car from Hawk Chevrolet. I have been disappointed with them. The only reason I keep coming back was Mariam Santos. The last time I was there she told me she was retiring, well so have I from Advantage Chevrolet. I have always brought my car back for service and paid those high prices. I will find another Chevy dealer.
Took my 2022 silverado 2500 in for brake service. Brakes were making noise. I even sent a personal video I made from my phone to the tech or the service guy I was dealing with. They advised me after 4 hours that they couldnt get the noise to reoccur. I picked my truck up and upon leaving the lot I could Cleary hear the noise again. Highly disappointed in the service. I was then approached by a sales person and made me wait for 20 mins when I was told that he would return in 5 mins. Bad customer service. Unprofessional with times on making a customer wait for numbers. Definitely looking for a new dealer to service my truck and Definitely dont want to be stalked by a sales person trying to push the sale but being told to wait . These are factors that the sales rep should already know and not have to run to the manager for approval and pricing.

Be very careful shopping here. They had a car online for 82,000 which was the sticker price and according to them a today only price. When I agreed to do a wire transfer and to give me a pay out on it they came back with a $92,000 quote. I asked how do you get from 82 to 92 and they said It included the “A” package. Which is putting on interior and exterior protection which most people can get for a couple hundred dollars at a car wash. I said I didn’t want the a package and the reply was well it has already been applied. This is true gouging at its best!
I am an Advantage customer for over 20 years. I just purchased my third car, my last car lasted 7 years with no problems and able to trade it in. I came to the Bridgeview location and Mr. Denzell Vaval made my car purchasing experience easy, smooth, and fun. He has great customer skills and is a people’s person. I came in with my list of wants, he heard, and delivered. Highly recommend this location and Denzell for you next vehicle purchase. I took my car in only because of a OnStar notification. It was running fine and I had no problem. I paid $300 for them to supposedly fix whatever it was wrong with it. The day after I picked my car up it was running bad, gave me trouble in the highway, and scared me because I have an infant child who was in the car with me. I took it back, and now they want mw to pay $800 more for other issues supposedly found wrong when initially they couldn’t detect anything. AND WHEN I TOOK MY CAR RUNNING COMPLETELY FINE IN THE FIRST PLACE. Never again.

Were supposed to cut me a check for a car I sold them over a month ago, but still no check. No one returns my calls. Have left numerous messages. I was told they couldnt cut me a check until they had the title (which is reasonable since I was still paying for car) but they already sold the car to someone else! Was originally told 5-7 days, then 21 day, and now they cant even pick up or return my calls. Ridiculous.

If I could I would give 0 stars. I went in for a oil change, got charged for a oil change but they never did one! There excuse you might have internal oil leakage well that was not true!!!!Horrible. I will never go back here again.Careful for everyone that trusts them with changing your oil. They might just be taking your money and not doing your service!!!!

I bought a vehicle here January 24th and 3 weeks later and its already the shop due to the check engine light coming on and some leaks. Everytime I attempt to contact the dealership its unsuccessful in getting any answers. Be awareUpdate now on 5/31The car continues to have problems near 30 times the cat shuts off in gear in the middle of the road. Its getting ridiculous. They need to take this junk car back and give me my money back.
So Hawk had my corvette in for service. Sadly, someone at the Hawk went ahead and crashed my car..... The dealership was not the nicest and easiest to deal with considering they did thousands of dollar worth of damage. Their insurance did the minimum to help me while the dealership did absolutely nothing. Will probably not bring my car back here again.UPDATE:I had emailed Hawk as they told me to, and absolutely nothing happened! They simple chose to ignore me and left me in the dark..... So I would probably stay away because once something bad happens here, they will simply just want to ignore you and pretend you do not exist. I came to advantage Chevrolet not knowing what I wanted or what I could afford to fit my lifestyle. I ended up buying a Honda CRVThanks to the team, especially Eddie Saucedo he found me the perfect SUV . He let me into the right direction of safety features and most of all to fit my budget and I can’t express more than enough how great that he worked with me as far as the financing! Absolutely outrageous! This dealership is going against the advice of Chevrolet and increasing their new incoming vehicles based on market value not MSRP.We tried to purchase a $52,000 truck with basic features and they try to add $10,000 to the price because of “market adjustment”Dealerships were hurt through the pandemic and the chip shortage, but consumers were hurt the worst. BEWARE THE GREED. There are dealerships in Florida that are offering trucks under MSRP so what is this dealerships excuse……

After 6 months of purchasing a used vehicle, the motor and wiring of the driver and passenger seats needed to be replace, the transmissions lines are leaking and cracked and need to be replaced, the air duct control panel has needed to be replaced, the automatic window motor and regulator needs to be replaced. While I understand that used vehicles may have some wear and tear, these are all very expensive repairs and things that i would not expect to have to replace after owning the vehicle for 6 months. Very disappointed that a dealer of this nature would be pushing these lemon vehicles off their lot. I will NEVER be returning to Advantage Chevrolet of Bridgeview. It is a shame customers are being tricked with these types of sales.

I had problems with a repair from another dealership, and when I called about a second opinion, John spent over 15 minutes on the phone answering questions and trying to help troubleshoot my issues. I brought my car in a few days later, and he was able to have it done ASAP despite being busy during the technicians’ strike. It was much appreciated and excellent customer service.

I was very pleased with being shown exceptional service from John Chiano. He went above and beyond and helped me when others wouldnt. He was able to refund money that previous owners would not do. I was charged unlawfully and John found the issue and refunded me money that others charged me. It is nice to find an honest person that will go out of their way to help their customers. The staff here were great! My sales rep Ibrahim was engaging and helped me get everything going and guided me through the whole process. It seemed like a real team effort from Ibrahim, to the GM Art, all the way through to the finance rep Ken. I had a positive experience from the initial phone call all the way until I drove the car off the lot. I was dreading going to a dealership, but once I got there it seemed like they truly wanted to help me get what I wanted. I never felt pressured, and they delivered on every promise they made. Tried to take my car in before September, was told mechanics were on strike.Didn’t get a call to let me know they were back. So , I made another appointment today , November 1st. When I arrived , I realized they were having lunch , I even apologized for interrupting. Was told I would be helped after Donna (a customer) was situated.(was Even told she was waiting since 9am).So as I waited, another lady took my car keys. I asked her if they were backed up , and she asked what I was there for. I told her my check engine light was on and she said unfortunately , there is going to be a long wait, but that my car should still have warranty and that I should ask the lady attending me for a loaner vehicle. So I patiently waited for her to finish up with Donna. When she got back , she started complaining about some one doing the paperwork wrong and having to do it all over again . She then said I guess I’ll just have lunch when I’m done. that’s when I asked if I can get a loaner vehicle since I have to pick up my kids at 3 from school. Without hesitation she said no , and tried to use the chip shortage as an excuse. She Obviously wasn’t trying to do paper work and trying to have lunch already. I wasn’t about to go back and forth with them so I told her to give me my keys and left. She even asked if I’d like to reschedule and I told her no thanks.If people don’t want to work during lunch hours , maybe you shouldn’t schedule people during lunch.I much rather go to another chevy further away then come back to Advantage Chevrolet. I would never recommend some one to buy a chevy here , or even get it serviced here.There’s nothing advantage can ever do to resolve this issue. Business between us is done. Please do not attempt to contact to resolve.

2022-04-20🛑BEWARE🚨 of Advantage Chevrolet!!! They sold me a brand new Corvette with only 3 miles with used wheels. The car was immaculate in the show room with clean rims on the outside and shiny tires. When I removed the wheels 5 days later to keep the undercarriage clean, I noticed that the inside of the rims were very dirty and grimy as if they had been on there for a long time with several thousand miles on them. I cleaned the inside of the rim and noticed that all 4 rims had scuffs on the lip of the rim. Advantage would not replace anything because they said they were not responsible. The service manager said that the scuffs were made by GM when mounting the tires. (Lie) I got a hold of GM to make a claim and only then would Advantage make a request with GM to replace the rim. They would not replace the tire b/c its a worn item and could not warranty it. They replaced the rims but am stuck with used tires on a $107K car that I paid $10K over sticker b/c of greedy dealership markups. Do your homework before doing business with this kind of dealership. Dont get taken ADVANTAGE of.

2021-11-30I came in only looking to sell my Traverse. I worked with Jose and he gave me an excellent value for my trade in only 20 min. He also showed me another Traverse that had all the features mine did not, hence why I was getting rid of it. I immediately fell in love with it and Jose was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and gave me a great deal on it!!! Jose made the entire process a breeze from negotiations to paperwork and even waiting for finance. He had drinks, snacks, and we even enjoyed a movie on his iPad!!! Jose is the best there is period and I look forward to doing business with him in the future. 2022-01-15Came in on Friday at 445 for a test drive for a 2015 GMC Acadia. Was there until 9 negotiating pricing for a majority of the time with the sales consultant Jose. While we went back and forth for a while we ultimately were able to make a deal that I felt great about! And during the waiting period, which there is always, Jose and I were able to connect on similar interest and even watch a movie to pass time. If youre in the market for a new car please go see Jose at Advantage Chevorlet in Bridgeview and tell him Zach sent you!!

2022-02-22I went to the dealership on Saturday, Feb19 to consider leasing a new car. I was sent to Jose who asked several questions and started the process to get some numbers. After 2 hours of waiting, they came back to me with a cost that was $5,595 over the sticker price. I was told this was due to a $4,000 MVP (I was told this is market value price or cost of demand in the market) and a “package” for $1,595 which was not explained. Their offer was to pay $608 per month for a $34,000 sticker price on the car to lease for 39 months with $10,000 miles per year. I also had a trade in that would give me almost an additional $4,000. I am quite certain my credit is in a good place so once I saw the offer I responded that this price was absolutely ridiculous. (I’m am sure the market up was to put the dealership ahead as always.) When I told them I wanted to pay the same price I pay now for the same leased vehicle I was literally laughed at in the finance group. It was loud, obnoxious, and rude. They also refused to work on pricing at all. According to detailed research I have completed this weekend, I have found GM is trying to stop dealership from charging over MSRP. Clearly this dealership didn’t get the memo or doesn’t care. I would not recommend this dealership in any way shape or form and I am filing complaints with GM corporate and GM Financial.

2022-03-26They had an opening appointment for an oil change at noon and I accepted it. I arrived on time and aprox three+ hrs later my vehicle was ready. I purchased my 2013, Chevy Malibu brand new w/only 16mi on it. My vehicle has always had scheduled oil changes at a dealer and its never taken that long for an oil change even as a walk-in. I’m in the process of relocating back to IL and I’m looking for a certified Chevy dealer with outstanding past reviews and excellent current reviews. According to Advantage Chevy’s website I’d thought I’d found the perfect location to service my reliable automobile but the service timeliness is very undesirable to say the least. I will definitely be looking further for a service department. The service rep who made my appointment and the service consultant that took care of my order were extremely friendly.
