Amazing! I am so impressed with this location. I originally called two months ago due to extreme tooth pain. I was desperately calling other locations with no success of getting an appointment. I decided to call the Algonquin location because it’s close enough to my house, and I am honestly so happy I did. From the beginning I was immediately impressed. Nancy helped me schedule an appointment that same week to see the doctor. She was so empathetic, kind and professional. I was so amazed with the customer service! When I arrived for my first appointment, I was treated so well by the front desk and the whole staff. Dr. Abufarha and his assistants are so kind and knowledgeable. They make me feel welcomed and answer all my questions/concerns. Dr. Abufarha is very thorough, and explained all procedures to me. I was very nervous to have a crown put in because it is something new to me, and wow he helped me calm down, and it was such a seamless procedure. I will continue coming here because of the high level of professionalism. What a great establishment with great people. Thank you Gloria, Echmail, Nancy and Dr. Abufarha, you guys are exceptional!

Ive always been very nervous about going to the dentist in general. When my dentist of 15 years moved I was forced to try somewhere new. Ive gotten fillings and cleanings here and have no complaints on service or quality. I actually went to my old dentist, made a long drive, to ask him to check the work and he said everything looked perfect.
The name, First Family, is perfect for this business. That’s how you are treated. Maybe even better than family! I have yet to be disappointed and absolutely love the service I receive from Dr. Abufarha and the staff. Thank you all so much for continued outstanding service and friendship.
Ive been going here for over 20 years and I keep going here because the service is great. The staff knows me and I get right in. Everyone is professional, personable and makes me feel very comfortable.
First Family Dental Algonquin is a beautiful space in a beautiful part of the state. Dr. Abufarha is top notch and always makes me feel comfortable while delivering great dental work. The techs and staff are friendly and helpful. Im glad I came here for treatment, and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs dental work.

I called over the weekend for an emergency visit , I was seen first thing Monday morning. What a pleasure experience. Pain free , inexpensive, fast Super clean. ...and I was even able to get a cleaning done at the same visit.Highly recommend.

2022-05-05Great experience! Very clean office, with an “at home feeling” reception area. Felt welcomed by Kelly when I walked in as well. Teresa always does such a good job with cleaning my teeth, and is very knowledgeable. Always look forward to my next 6 month check up after leaving!

2022-04-12I had a cavity that broke over the weekend called around and they were able to see Monday. I had no pain at all when I came in and was recommended a root canal I proceeded with treatment and have been in pain ever since. I was given 3 rounds of antibiotics during my treatment with no improvement. I was also told I need another root canal on the other side of mouth which is when I decided to go for a second opinion and see an Endodontist to address the root canal that was giving me so many issues and to look at the other side where again I have no pain but they want to do another root canal. The endodontist who recommended gum surgery to correct the issue which I proceeded with and now it has been slowly getting better. I was also told that I didn’t need another root canal that he recommended a partial crown and was referred to a dentist to perform the partial crown. During my treatment at this practice I brought my husband to get old silver fillings that were cracking removed and redone with the white composite that is now used. I made him go for a second opinion because of my experience and found out that both filling that were done need to be redone. The one because the old filling was left and should of been removed because there could be decay underneath and we were shown the picture showing the old filling still there! I was shocked! They recommended multiple crowns here which ended up being 1 crown and the rest fillings. Very disappointed, I liked coming here because I thought everyone was so nice, but the dentist lacks experience. I called the office manager she said she was going to call me back almost two weeks now no call back. I called her back last week Thursday she was gone for the day left another message. And still no call back!

2022-05-14If you like botched procedures, pain, losing teeth because of it and not being able to smile anymore, and being accused of being on drugs by some fresh out of dental school kid, this is the dentist for you. And when asked to fix the damage they caused given an attitude, told its your fault and harassed about money.

2021-08-11Myself and my 2 daughters (5 and 9) have appointments together every 6 months. This office is wonderful! From the hygienists and receptions to our new favorite dentist! Every thing is explained fully as it’s happening. My girls are comfortable in the office and everyone is super sweet to them! Highly recommend!

2021-11-04Didnt have a dentist for my children. My 4 year old fell off her bike and of course nailed her front teeth and I called. They got me in within 30 minutes. Not one tear shed by her and it was her first time ever seeing a dentist. All the staff is extremely nice and great with children!! I will be definitely be choosing them as my kids regular dentist.

2021-12-16I was sorely upset when waiting a bit over a half hour and seeing the dentist still doing surgery with no word about the time he would finish and be available. My husband, waiting in the car, had a doctors appointment and I could not wait any longer. We also had another later appointment.I did mention to the women at the front desk, upon leaving the office that maybe this was payback for my being angry with the dentist the last two visits. I was never interested in doing anything against your practice in Algonquin. I was never delayed like this for an appointment in the past. The women at the desk never interrupted her phone call or looked up while I stood at the front desk regarding a check in .appointment time so I went and sat in the waiting room. I will reschedule this appointment.Ruth Mihevc
